“شفى يسوع الممسوس الأعمى والأخرس” (متى 12: 22)
1. من آية شفاء الممسوس، الأعمى والأخرس، وكلام الربّ يسوع، تتبيّن حقيقة وجود الشيطان والأرواح الشريرة، ويتبيّن انتصار يسوع على الشيطان والأرواح. وكان انتصاره النهائيّ بموته على الصليب وقيامته. وقد أعطى كنيسته، بواسطة سرّ الكهنوت سلطانًا إلهيًّا، تمارسه باسمه وبشخصه، فتشفي الأجساد من أمراضها، والنفوس من خطاياها ومن سيطرة الشيطان والأرواح الشريرة، وتملأهم نعمة خلاصيّة تصحّح مجرى حياتهم وتجدّدها وتقدّسها “وفقًا لقامة المسيح” (راجع أفسس 4: 13) . هذا هو مقياس روحانيّتنا المسيحيّة وأخلاقيّتنا.
2. يسعدنا أن نحتفل معًا بهذه الليتورجيا الإلهيّة، فنجدّد إيماننا بالمسيح طبيب الأرواح والأجساد. ونعود إليه ملتمسين شفاءنا الجسدي والروحي والمعنوي.
وإذ نرحّب بكم جميعًا نوجّه تحيّة خاصّة إلى الراهبات “أخوات يسوع الصغيرات” المجتمعات في رياضة روحيّة سنويّة، وفي لقاء إقليم لبنان وسوريا مع بعض الأخوات من مصر والعراق والأردن. ويقمن اليوم في زيارة تقويّة إلى الديمان والوادي المقدّس وبقاعكفرا والأرز. ويأتيننا في المناسبة للشكر على إدراج القدّيس الأخ شارل de Foucauld في روزنامة القديّسين المارونيّة. فيكون الإحتفال بعيده في الأوّل من كانون الأوّل وهو يوم ميلاده سنة 1858. إنّه رسول المحبّة وطيبة القلب، والقرب من جميع الناس، ولقائهم في دعوتهم وثقافتهم وإيمانهم، وحبِّهم والصلاة من أجلهم. نلتمس من الله نعمة الإقتداء به في روحانيّته.
3. وأوجّه تحيّة خاصّة إلى عائلة المرحومة فيوليت ضوميط نون وشقيقتها المرحومة إميلي، وقد انتقلتا إلى بيت الآب في يومين متتالين، وودعناهما مع شقيقهما الشاعر إميل نون، أمين سرّ نقابة الشعراء، وعائلة المرحوم شقيقهما يوسف، وسائر الأنسباء. نصلّي معهم في هذه الذبيحة المقدّسة لراحة نفسيهما في الملكوت السماويّ، ولعزاء عائلاتهم.
4. إنجيل اليوم يؤكّد وجود الشيطان والأرواح الشريرة التي تؤثّر على الإنسان إما في جسده مثل ذاك الرجل الذي أفقده المسّ الشيطاني النطق والبصر، فأصبح أخرس وأعمى، وإمّا تؤثّر على عقله وإرادته بالغش والكذب وتقوده الى الخطيئة، مثلما أسقط الشيطان آدم وحوّاء (راجع تك 3: 1-7)، ومثلما جرّب الشيطان يسوع ثلاثًا في البريّة عند صيامه، فانتصر عليه بالعودة إلى كلام الله (راجع متى 4: 10-11)، وكذلك فعل ويفعل مع الأبرار والأتقياء ومحبّي الله، الذين ينتصرون عليه بالصلاة واللجوء إلى كلام الله. يسمّي الربّ يسوع الشيطان “بالكذّاب وأبي الكذب” (يو 8: 44).
5. سمعنا في الإنجيل أنّ الربّ يسوع جاء إلى العالم ليجمع أبناء الله وبناته إلى واحد. أمّا الشيطان فيفرّق ويُبدّد. وهذا ما يعنيه اسمه “إبليس”-“diabolos” أي الذي يقطع خطّ التواصل، ويحوّل مجراه. فيما يسير المؤمن في طريقه إلى الإتحاد بالله، يأتي إبليس ويقطع طريقه ويحوّله نحو ارتكاب الخطيئة والشرّ بغشّ وإغواء ووعود كاذبة.
الرسالة المسيحيّة هي السعي إلى الجمع، إلى الوحدة، إلى الشركة. كلُّ مسعى الى الخلافات والانقسامات والعداوات انما هو خروج عن المسيحيّة، وعداوة للمسيح. فكلامُه في إنجيل اليوم واضحٌ وصريح: “من لا يجمع معي فهو يبدّد” (متى 12: 30).
السبيل إلى الوحدة والشركة يرتكز على الحقيقة التي تحرّر وتجمع، وعلى العدالة التي تعطي كلّ شخص حقّه، وعلى المحبّة التي تدفع من الداخل كرغبة وتصميم وتوق إلى بناء الوحدة والشركة.
6. نشهد عندنا اليوم وبكل أسف فسادًا على كلّ صعيد: فسادًا سياسيًّا، فسادًا أخلاقيًّا، فسادًا إداريًّا، فسادًا قضائيًّا، فسادًا تجاريًا. فخسرت العقول الحقيقة واتّجهت نحو الكذب؛ وخسرت الإرادات الطاقة على الخير، ومالت إلى الشرّ والظلم والإستبداد والإستكبار؛ وخسر الإنسان إنسانيّته وبهاء صورة الله فيه، فأصبح شريرًا.
هذا هو مكمن إنهيار العمل السياسيّ عندنا في لبنان، فبدلًا من ان يبني، نراه يهدم، بدءًا من عدم انتخاب رئيس للجمهوريّة منذ أحد عشر شهرًا، وصولًا إلى تعطيل المجلس النيابيّ الذي أصبح هيئة ناخبة وفاقدة حقّ التشريع، وإلى جعل الحكومة محصورة في تصريف الأعمال وبالتالي فاقدة حقّ التعيين، وصولًا إلى إسقاط المؤسّسات الدستوريّة والإداريّة الواحدة تلو الأخرى. هذا بالإضافة إلى تفشّي روح الحقد والبغض والضغينة والكبرياء والإستبداد وروح الهدم وأخذ البلاد رهينة بشعبها وأرضها ومؤسّساتها لصالح شخص أو فئة أو مخطط. وفوق كلّ ذلك بل والاخطر أنهم يضعون الله وكلامه ورسومه ووصاياه جانبًا، وكأنّه غير موجود، على الرغم من المظاهر الدينيّة الزائفة والكاذبة.
7. هل من احد يشرح لنا لماذا لا يلتئم المجلس النيابي في جلسات متتالية بدوراتها لانتخاب رئيس للجمهورية بحسب المادة 49 من الدستور، ويوجد مرشحان اساسيان كفؤان كما ظهر في جلسة 14 حزيران الماضي؟ فإما ينجح واحد منهما وإما لا احد، ولكن بعد ثلاث دورات متتالية على الاكثر، يصار الى الاتفاق على ثالث بحوار مسؤول.
وهل من يقول لنا لماذا أُبطل النصاب في تلك الجلسة التي كادت ان تكون حاسمة؟
وهل من يشرح لنا الغاية من ترحيل هذا الاستحقاق الاساسي لقيام مؤسسات الدولة الى شهر أيلول؟ أهي عطلة شهر آب للسادة النواب، للاستجمام بحرًا وجبلًا وسفرًا، فيما الشعب يموت جوعًا، والدولة في حالة الفوضى الدائرة، والنازحون السوريون يحتلون البلاد بدعم من الاسرة الدولية، ونحن مغفّلون، وهم متناسون ارضهم ووطنهم وتاريخهم وثقافتهم.
8. فلو ان المسؤولين في الدولة يعتنون بجمع اموالها من فواتير الكهرباء والماء من الجميع، ولو انهم يضبطون مداخيلها من الجمارك في المطار والمرافئ والمؤسسات الادارية وسائر الدوائر التابعة لها، ولو ضبطت الخوّات لدى موظفيها، ولو اوقفت التهريب خروجًا ودخولًا عبر مداخلها الشرعية وغير الشرعية، ولو وضعت حدًّا للسرقات المالية، لوفّرت المال اللازم والكافي لدفع اجور موظّفي القطاع العام ورواتبهم، من دون المسّ بالاحتياط وبأموال المودعين في البنك المركزي!
9. ونقول لهم: لا يمكن الاستمرار في ضرب القطاعات الاقتصادية وخصوصًا القطاع السياحي الذي شهد هذا الصيف انتعاشًا بعودة المغتربين والسياح بعد الازمات المتنوعة التي عشناها حيث يتم اطلاق الشائعات الهدّامة حول ارتفاع الاسعار من دون ذكر وجود مروحة من الاسعار والخدمات. أتعلمون ان القطاع السياحي شكل خشبة الخلاص للاقتصاد المنهار، فبلغ عبر السنوات حوالي ٢٥ بالمئة من الدخل القومي؟
لقد تم فرض رسوم اشغال على الاملاك العامة والمنتجعات البحرية من قبل الدولة بالدولار الفراش بينما تغاضت عن القيام باي تسوية لشاغلي الاملاك النهرية ومشاعات الدولة واملاكها الخاصة، مما يحرمها من أن تؤمّن مداخيل طائلة للخزينة واستقرار الاستثمار على انواعه. فهل ما يجوز من ناحية لايجوز من ناحية اخرى؟
إن الحفاظ على القطاع السياحي اسوة بباقي القطاعات هو في اساس بناء الوطن والحفاظ على ابنائه.
أيّها الأخوة والاخوات الاحبّاء،
10. في هذه الظروف الصعبة نلتجئ الى العناية الالهية، التي بيدها غير المنظورة تُحافظ على لبنان، كأرض مقدّسة. ولنلتَمس من الله أن يمسّ ضمائر المسؤولين عمّا آلت اليه بلادنا من انحطاط ودمار، لكي يعودوا الى الله، ويصغوا الى كلامه، ويعملوا بموجب رسومه ووصاياه. له المجد والشكر، الآب والابن والروح القدس، الآن والى الأبد، آمين.

Instead of it being built, we see it being demolished, starting with the failure to elect a president for the republic eleven months ago, leading to the disruption of the parliament, which has become an electorate and lacks the right to legislate, and to making the government confined to the conduct of business and thus Losing the right of appointment, leading to the overthrow of the constitutional and administrative institutions one after the other. This is in addition to the spread of the spirit of hatred, hatred, rancor, pride, tyranny, the spirit of demolition, and the taking of the country hostage to its people, land, and institutions in favor of a person, group, or scheme. Above all, and even more dangerously, they put God and His words, drawings, and commandments aside, as if He did not exist, despite the false and false religious manifestations.
7. Is there anyone who can explain to us why the parliament does not convene in successive sessions in order to elect a president of the republic according to Article 49 of the constitution, and there are two main qualified candidates, as appeared in the session of last June 14? Either one of them will succeed, or none will succeed, but after three consecutive sessions at most, an agreement will be reached on a third through a responsible dialogue.
Can anyone tell us why the quorum was abolished in that session, which was almost decisive?
Is there anyone who can explain to us the purpose of deporting this basic entitlement for the establishment of state institutions to the month of September? Is it the August holiday for the deputies, for recreation at sea, mountains and travel, while the people are dying of hunger, the state is in a state of chaos, and the displaced Syrians are occupying the country with the support of the international community, and we are fools, forgetting their land, their homeland, their history and their culture.
8. If the officials of the state take care of collecting its money from electricity and water bills from everyone, and if they seize its revenues from customs at the airport, seaports, administrative institutions and other departments affiliated with it, and if they seize sisters with its employees, and if they stop smuggling, exit and entry through its legal and illegal entrances, And if it put an end to financial theft, it would have provided the necessary and sufficient money to pay the wages and salaries of public sector employees, without affecting the reserves and the funds of depositors in the Central Bank!
9. And we say to them: It is not possible to continue hitting the economic sectors, especially the tourism sector, which witnessed a boom this summer with the return of expatriates and tourists after the various crises that we experienced, as destructive rumors are launched about high prices without mentioning the existence of a range of prices and services. Do you know that the tourism sector constituted the salvation of the collapsing economy, and over the years it amounted to about 25 percent of the national income?
Occupancy fees were imposed on public property and sea resorts by the state in bed dollars, while it neglected to make any settlement for the occupants of river property and the state’s commons and private properties, which deprives it of securing huge incomes for the treasury and the stability of investment of all kinds. Is what is permissible on the one hand not permissible on the other hand?
Preserving the tourism sector, like other sectors, is the basis of building the country and preserving its children.

10. In these difficult circumstances, we resort to divine providence, whose invisible hand preserves Lebanon as a holy land. Let us ask God to touch the consciences of those responsible for the degeneration and destruction of our country, so that they return to God, listen to His words, and act according to His decrees and commandments.
