صاحب شركة لبيع السيارات المستعملة في بيروت يُخبر عن أهمية هذه القطعة “هناك من يأتون طالبين شراء سيارة، وبدل أن يفحصوا محركها وينتبهوا الى أناقتها، ينزلون تحتها يفحصون هذه القطعة، وإذا أعجبتهم يشترون ثم ينزعون منها “الكاتاليزور” ويبيعونها من دونه. أصبحت هذه القطعة تُحدد تجارة السيارات في لبنان منذ فترة”. ماذا يفعلون به؟ يجيب “الله وأعلم ولكن الأمر بات ملفتاً لي والى أصحاب المعارض”.

إيلي الكاتاليزور، هذا ما يلقب به صاحب أحد الكاراجات في بيروت، يعرض فيه على أصحاب المركبات شراء هذه القطعة في السيارات القديمة، قائلاً لهم إن لا منفعة منها. فهل هي زيادة عدد؟ وإذا لم يكن منها نفع فلماذا تُسرق من سياراتنا؟ يجيب “كون هذه القطعة تحتوي على معادن أغلى من الذهب، على البلاديوم والبلاتينيوم والروديوم، وثلاثتها مطلوبة كثيراً لسعرها المرتفع وكون تصديرها الى الخارج يعود على السارقين بدولارات طازجة. وبكم يشتري ايلي الكاتاليزور الواحد؟ يستخدم صاحب الكاراج تطبيقاً على الإنترنت يُحدد بحسب الرقم الموجود على القطعة ثمنها ويقول “هناك كاتاليزور سعره 50 دولاراً وهناك آخر بألف دولار”.
هناك إذاً من يشتري ويبيع وهناك من يسرق هذه القطعة من سياراتنا من دون أن ننتبه لفقدانها إلا متأخرين. فهل السبب فقط الحصول على دولارات طازجة؟ النائب المستقيل نديم الجميل خارج البلاد وهو قال ما قال. فلنتحقق أكثر مما قال. فهل صحيح أن المواد المعدنية التي تحتويها هذه القطعة تلزم في مسائل أبعد من ثمنها؟ هل صحيح أن العقوبات المفروضة على سوريا وإيران جعلت من سرقة هذه المواد ضرورة الآن أكثر من أي أوان؟
عميد في الجيش اللبناني يحوّل السؤال الى خبير في المتفجرات والجواب هو: “صحيح ما قيل أن بعض هذه المواد التي يحتويها الكاتاليزور تستخدم في مواد إستشفائية وفي صناعة المجوهرات لكن هناك من يستفيد منها أيضاً في تحويلها الى مادة متفجرة.
مادة الروديوم مثلاً تستخدم لهذه الغاية لكن بسبب سعرها المرتفع فقلة يفكرون في ذلك، فسعر الغرام الواحد من هذه الماة يزيد عن 421 دولاراً أميركياً. ويمكن أن تحتوي السيارات الحديثة على غرامين من هذه المادة. والسارقون يعرفون تماماً أهميتها”.
فهل سياراتنا تتشارك في إعداد المتفجرات؟
هل هناك من يعمل بالفعل على الإستيلاء على هذه القطعة الثمينة وإرسالها خارج الحدود؟
