في خطابه أمام الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، عرض نتنياهو موقفه من الحرب على الإرهاب، مؤكّدًا أن إسرائيل تقاتل على سبع جبهات ومنذ ثلاث سنوات، وأنها بذلك تدافع عن نفسها وعن العالم الحر، بدعمٍ من الولايات المتحدة الأميركية دون سواها.
لكن بدل أن تلقى إسرائيل الثناء والتقدير على ما قدّمته وتقدّمه من تضحيات جسيمة، انهالت عليها الانتقادات الجارحة من كل حدب وصوب، وغادرت القاعة بعض الوفود احتجاجًا.
والمفارقة أن العديد من الدول الإقليمية والعالمية ترتعب خوفًا من خطر الإرهاب الإيراني ومشروعها النووي، ثم تسارع إلى إدانة من يتصدّى له ويحاربه.
أما الجبناء الذين يؤيدون إسرائيل سرًّا على ما تقوم به، ويرفضونه علنًا، فبإمكانهم مغادرة صفحتي ع الأكس الآن ومع الشكر.

In his speech before the United Nations General Assembly, Netanyahu presented his position on the war on terrorism, affirming that Israel has been fighting on seven fronts for three years, and that in doing so it is defending itself and the free world, with support from the United States of America alone.
But instead of Israel receiving praise and appreciation for the immense sacrifices it has made and continues to make, harsh criticism poured in on it from all sides, and some delegations left the hall in protest.
The irony is that many regional and global countries are terrified of the danger of Iranian terrorism and its nuclear project, and then rush to condemn those who confront and fight it.
