صدر عن رئيس حزب حراس الأرز – حركة القومية اللبنانية البيان التالي:
تابعنا باهتمام وارتياحٍ كبيرين انتشار الجيش_اللبناني في مدينة النبطية، والترحيب الحار الذي لقيه من الأهالي، في مشهدٍ يؤكد أن الدولة وجيشها هما الحصن الحقيقي لأبناء المدينة، وحمايتها من خطر الدمار الذي كان يتهدّدها لو بقيت تحت سيطرة «حزب الله».
قلنا ونكرّر: إن الطائفة_الشيعية شيء، و«حزب الله» شيء آخر.
هي لبنانية، وهو إيراني،
هي حاضنة للدولة والجيش، وهو عدوٌ لهما،
هي تتوق إلى السلام والعيش المشترك، وهو يرفضهما، ويستبدلهما بالحروب الخاسرة والعنتريات المدمّرة.
وتنتهي مأساة لبنان يوم تتحرّر هذه الطائفة من براثن هذا الحزب المدمّر، وتعود الدولة وحدها مرجعيةً لجميع اللبنانيين.
النبطية البداية… والباقي يتبع.

Etienne Saqr (Abu Arz): Nabatieh is the Beginning

The following statement was issued by the leader of the Guardians of the Cedars Party – Lebanese Nationalist Movement:
We have followed with great interest and satisfaction the deployment of the Lebanese Army in the city of Nabatieh and the warm welcome it received from the residents. This scene confirms that the State and its army constitute the true bulwark for the city’s people, protecting them from the threat of destruction that loomed over them had the city remained under the control of Hezbollah.
We have said it before, and we say it again: The Shiite community is one thing, and Hezbollah is another.
The community is Lebanese, while Hezbollah is Iranian;
The community embraces the State and the Army, whereas Hezbollah is their enemy;
The community yearns for peace and coexistence, while Hezbollah rejects them, opting instead for losing wars and destructive bravado.
Lebanon’s tragedy will end the day this community frees itself from the clutches of the destructive Hezbollah, and the State alone returns to being the ultimate authority for all Lebanese.
Nabatieh is the beginning… and the rest will follow.
