إنجيل القدّيس يوحنّا10/من11حتى16/ قالَ الرَبُّ يَسوع: «أَنَا هُوَ الرَّاعِي الصَّالِح. والرَّاعِي الصَّالِحُ يَبْذُلُ نَفْسَهُ عَنِ الخِرَاف. أَمَّا الأَجِير، وهُوَ لَيْسَ بِرَاعٍ، ولَيْسَتِ الخِرَافُ لَهُ، فَيَرَى الذِّئْبَ مُقْبِلاً، ويَتْرُكُ الخِرَافَ ويَهْرُب، فيَخْطَفُهَا الذِّئْبُ ويُبَدِّدُهَا؛ لأَنَّ الأَجِيرَ أَجِير، ولا يُبَالِي بِٱلخِرَاف.أَنَا هُوَ الرَّاعِي الصَّالِح. أَعْرِفُ خِرَافِي وخَرِافِي تَعْرِفُنِي،كَمَا أَنَّ الآبَ يَعْرِفُنِي وأَنَا أَعْرِفُ الآب، وأَبْذُلُ نَفْسِي عَنِ الخِرَاف. ولِي خِرَافٌ أُخْرَى لَيْسَتْ مِنْ هذِهِ الحَظِيرَة، عَلَيَّ أَنْ آتِيَ بِهَا هِيَ أَيْضًا. وَسَتَسْمَعُ صَوتِي، فَتَكُونُ رَعِيَّةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ ورَاعٍ وَاحِد.

I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice
John 10/11-16: “‘I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. The hired hand, who is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and runs away and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. The hired hand runs away because a hired hand does not care for the sheep. I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father. And I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.

الرسالة إلى العبرانيّين09/من15 حتى23/ يا إِخوَتِي، أَلمسيحُ هُوَ الوَسِيطُ لِعَهْدٍ جَدِيد، وقَدْ صَارَ مَوتُهُ فِدَاءً لِتَعَدِّيَاتِ العَهْدِ الأَوَّل، حَتَّى يَنَالَ بِهِ المَدْعُوُّونَ وَعْدَ الْمِيْرَاثِ الأَبَدِيّ. وحَيْثُ تَكُونُ وَصِيَّة، لا بُدَّ مِن إِثْبَاتِ مَوْتِ المُوصِي؛ فَالوَصِيَّةُ تُثَبَّتُ بِمَوتِ المُوصِي، لأَنَّهَا لا قُوَّةَ لَهَا البَتَّةَ مَا دَامَ المُوصِي حَيًّا. لِذلِكَ فَالعَهْدُ الأَوَّلُ نَفْسُهُ لَمْ يُدَشَّنْ بِغَيْرِ دَم. فبَعْدَ أَنْ تَلا مُوسَى على جَمِيعِ الشَّعْبِ كُلَّ الوَصَايَا، كَمَا هيَ في الشَّرِيعَة، أَخَذَ دمَ العُجُول، مَعَ مَاءٍ وصُوفٍ قِرْمِزِيّ، وزُوفَى، فَرَشَّ على الكِتَابِ نَفْسِهِ وعلى الشَّعْبِ كُلِّهِ قَائِلاً: «هذَا هُوَ دَمُ العَهْدِ الَّذي أَوْصَاكُمُ اللهُ بِهِ!».وكَذلِكَ رَشَّ الدَّمَ عَلى المَسْكِن، وعلى كُلِّ آنِيَةِ الخِدْمَة.فَإِنَّ الشَّرِيعَةَ تَقْضِي بِأَنْ يُطَهَّرَ كُلُّ شَيءٍ تَقْرِيبًا بِالدَّم، ولا مَغْفِرَةَ بِدُونِ إِرَاقَةِ دَم. فإِذَا كانَ مِنَ الضَّرُورِيِّ تَطْهِيرُ مَا هُوَ صُورَةٌ لِلأُمُورِ السَّمَاويَّةِ بِتِلْكَ الذَّبائِح، فَالأُمُورُ السَّماوِيَّةُ عَيْنُهَا تُطَهَّرُ بِذَبَائِحَ أَفْضَل.

Jesus is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance
Letter to the Hebrews 09/15-23: “For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, because a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions under the first covenant. Where a will is involved, the death of the one who made it must be established. For a will takes effect only at death, since it is not in force as long as the one who made it is alive. Hence not even the first covenant was inaugurated without blood. For when every commandment had been told to all the people by Moses in accordance with the law, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the scroll itself and all the people, saying, ‘This is the blood of the covenant that God has ordained for you.’And in the same way he sprinkled with the blood both the tent and all the vessels used in worship. Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. Thus it was necessary for the sketches of the heavenly things to be purified with these rites, but the heavenly things themselves need better sacrifices than these.
