كشفت وثيقة قضائية أن وزارة العدل الأميركية وجهت الخميس اتهامات بالقتل من الدرجة الأولى للمشتبه به الوحيد في إطلاق النار على اثنين من موظفي السفارة الإسرائيلية أمام المتحف اليهودي في واشنطن مما تسبب في مقتلهما، وفق رويترز. يشار إلى أن موظفيْن بالسفارة الإسرائيلية في واشنطن قُتلا مساء الأربعاء بإطلاق نار أمام المتحف اليهودي وسط العاصمة الأميركية. من مسافة قريبة وأوضح مراسل “العربية/الحدث” أن مهاجماً أطلق النار على رجل وامرأة قبل أن يحاول الدخول إلى مبنى المتحف.كما أضاف أن المهاجم أميركي وقد أطلق النار على الموظفين من مسافة قريبة. بدورها، أعلنت السفارة الإسرائيلىة مقتل 2 من موظفيها “أثناء حضورهما فعالية بالمتحف اليهودي”. من جهتها أوضحت شرطة واشنطن خلال مؤتمر صحافي، أن المهاجم يدعى إلياس رودريغيز من شيكاغو ويبلغ 30 عاماً، دون سجل إجرامي. وقالت إنه أطلق النار قبل دخوله المتحف، ما أدى إلى مقتل اثنين.

تُحقق الشرطة الأميركية، فيما إذا كان منفذ هجوم المتحف اليهودي في واشنطن إلياس رودريغز الذي اتهم بقتل اثنين من موظفي السفارة الإسرائيلية في العاصمة الأميركية، قد نشر بياناً مطولاً معادياً لإسرائيل على الإنترنت قبيل ارتكاب الجريمة بيوم واحد، بحسب ما أفادت به مصادر أمنية لموقع “نيويورك بوست”. وتركز الشرطة على التحقق من صحة بيان تداولته منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، مكون من 900 كلمة يحمل اسم إلياس رودريغز فور اعتقاله. والرسالة، المؤرخة في 20 مايو 2025 أي قبل يوم من الهجوم توحي بأن الحادثة كانت ردا على الحرب الإسرائيلية في غزة.
وجاء في مقاطع من الرسالة المطولة: “إن الفظائع التي ارتكبها الإسرائيليون ضد الفلسطينيين تتحدى الوصف..”، مضيفاً “قضت إسرائيل على القدرة على مواصلة إحصاء القتلى، الأمر الذي خدم إبادة جماعية بشكل ناجح..”، مشيرا “حتى وقت كتابة هذا التقرير، سجلت وزارة الصحة في غزة 53,000 قتيل، وما لا يقل عن عشرة آلاف تحت الأنقاض، ومن يدري كم من آلاف آخرين ماتوا بسبب الأمراض والجوع..”. وتساءل في الرسالة عن “عن نسبة الأطفال الذين تعرضوا للتشويه والحروق والانفجارات”، مضيفاً “نحن الذين سمحنا بحدوث هذا لن نستحق أبدا غفران الفلسطينيين”. كذلك قال في الرسالة المتداولة “العمل المسلح ليس بالضرورة عملاً عسكرياً.. عادة ما يكون مسرحاً واستعراضاً، وهي سمة مشتركة مع العديد من الأعمال غير المسلحة..”، مضيفاً “بدا الاحتجاج السلمي في الأسابيع الأولى للإبادة الجماعية وكأنه يُشير إلى نقطة تحول. لم يسبق قط أن انضم عشرات الآلاف إلى الفلسطينيين في شوارع الغرب.. لم يسبق قط أن أُجبر هذا العدد الكبير من السياسيين الأميركيين على الاعتراف، خطابياً على الأقل، بأن الفلسطينيين بشر أيضاً”. وتابع في الرسالة قائلاً “لكن حتى الآن، لم يُحدث الخطاب صدىً يُذكر.. ويتباهى الإسرائيليون أنفسهم بصدمتهم من الحرية التي منحهم إياها الأميركيون لإبادة الفلسطينيين”.

قالت وزيرة العدل الأميركية، اليوم الخميس، أن السلطات الأميركية تؤكد أن المشتبه به في إطلاق النار في المتحف اليهودي في واشنطن تصرف بمفرده. كما قالت بام بوندي في تصريحات صحافية، “منفذ هجوم واشنطن سيُحاسب بأقصى عقوبة”، مضيفة “لم يكن أحد يتوقع الهجوم على المتحف اليهودي”.

ذكرت وثيقة قضائية أن وزارة العدل الأميركية وجّهت، اليوم الخميس، اتهامات بالقتل من الدرجة الأولى للمشتبه به الوحيد في إطلاق النار على اثنين من موظفي السفارة الإسرائيلية أمام المتحف اليهودي في واشنطن مما تسبب في مقتلهما. وتحقق شرطة العاصمة في دوافع المتهم بقتل الموظَفَين في السفارة الإسرائيلية، خلال خروجهما من حفل في المتحف اليهودي، شمال غرب واشنطن. وبعدما حددت هوية مطلق النار وقالت إنه يدعى إلياس رودريغز ويبلغ 31 عاماً من مدينة شيكاغو، قال شخص مطلع على التحقيق إن الشرطة تعتقد بأن المشتبه به استهدف الحفل عشوائياً، ولم يكن لديه هدف محدد قبل وصوله إلى المكان، وإنه قام بإطلاق النار على أول من خرج من مكان الحفل في تلك اللحظة. ورغم أن هوية مطلق النار لا توحي بأن له جذوراً عربية، غير أن الحادث عد «خرقاً امنياً» في الوقت الذي تواصل فيه إسرائيل التحذير من عمليات قد تستهدف سفاراتها في الخارج، بسبب حربها في غزة بعد أن شنت حركة «حماس» هجوماً عبر الحدود في7 أكتوبر (تشرين الأول) 2023. وأعلنت السلطات مقتل موظفين في السفارة الإسرائيلية في واشنطن في إطلاق نار أمام المتحف اليهودي، في هجوم أوقف منفذه الذي نادى بفلسطين حرّة وأثار استهجاناً واسعاً بعدّه «معادياً للسامية» ورأت الدولة العبرية أنه ينمّ عن «تحريض» ضدّ إسرائيل. وقالت وزيرة الأمن الداخلي الأميركية كريستي نويم في منشور على «إكس» إنّ «اثنين من أفراد طاقم السفارة الإسرائيلية قُتلا بطريقة عبثية هذا المساء قرب المتحف اليهودي في واشنطن». وذكرت وزيرة العدل الأميركية لقناة «فوكس نيوز» أن السلطات الأميركية تعتقد أن المشتبه به في إطلاق النار تصرف بمفرده، مؤكدة تعزيز الإجراءات الأمنية في مناطق عديدة بعد الحادث.
تعزيز التدابير الأمنية
أصدر رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو، الخميس، تعليمات بتعزيز التدابير الأمنية في بعثات بلاده الدبلوماسية حول العالم، عادّاً أن هذا الهجوم ينمّ عن «تحريض ثائر» على العنف ضدّ إسرائيل التي تغذّي عملياتها العسكرية في قطاع غزة عدّة حركات احتجاجية مؤيّدة للفلسطينيين في بلدان كثيرة، من بينها الولايات المتحدة. وعلّق الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترمب على الحادثة، كاتباً على شبكته للتواصل الاجتماعي «تروث سوشيال» أن «هذه الجرائم الفظيعة… المدفوعة بطبيعة الحال بمعاداة السامية ينبغي أن تتوقّف الآن!»، ومشيراً إلى أنه «لا مكان للكراهية والتعصّب في الولايات المتحدة». كما أدان وزير الخارجية ماركو روبيو الهجوم وأكّد أن السلطات ستلاحق المسؤولين عنه. وكتب على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي: «كان هذا عملاً سافراً من العنف الجبان والمعادي للسامية. لا شك في ذلك: سنتعقب المسؤولين ونقدمهم للعدالة». وقبل الهجوم الذي ارتكب عند الساعة 21:00 بالتوقيت المحلي (الأولى فجر الخميس بتوقيت غرينتش)، «شوهد رجل يسير ذهاباً وإياباً خارج المتحف. وهو اقترب من مجموعة من أربعة أشخاص وأخرج سلاحاً يدوياً وأطلق النار»، بحسب ما قالت رئيسة الشرطة في واشنطن باميلا سميث خلال إحاطة إعلامية مشيرة إلى أن المشتبه به تصرّف وحيداً وهو أطلق شعارات مؤيّدة للفلسطينيين خلال توقيفه. وقدّمته الشرطة على أنه إلياس رودريغيز (30 عاماً) الذي أصله من شيكاغو في شمال الولايات المتحدة، وفق ما ذكرته «وكالة الصحافة الفرنسية».
ثنائي شاب
وكان المتحف اليهودي الذي يقع في قلب واشنطن على مقربة من الكابيتول يستضيف وقت الهجوم احتفالاً من تنظيم اللجنة الأميركية اليهودية التي ندّدت بـ«هجوم مدفوع بكلّ وضوح بالكراهية ضدّ اليهود، شعباً ودولة». وكشف السفير الإسرائيلي في الولايات المتحدة يحيئيل لايتر في إحاطة إعلامية أن «الضحيتين اللتين سقطتا… باسم فلسطين حرّة هما ثنائي شاب كان على وشك أن يعقد خطوبته. وقد اشترى الشاب خاتم الخطوبة هذا الأسبوع ليطلب يد شريكته الأسبوع المقبل في القدس». ونشرت السفارة الإسرائيلية صورة للثنائي مبتسماً على «إكس» وقالت وزارة الخارجية الإسرائيلية إنهما يارون ليسينسكي، البالغ 28 عاماً بحسب صحيفة «تايمز أوف إسرائيل»، وسارة لين ميلغريم، وهي مواطنة أميركية يهودية بحسب الصحيفة. وكشفت مصادر دبلوماسية في برلين، الخميس، لـ«وكالة الصحافة الفرنسية» أن ليسينسكي كان يحمل أيضاً الجنسية الألمانية.
«حفل استقبال للدبلوماسيين الشباب»
كانت اللجنة اليهودية الأميركية التي نظمت الحفل في متحف العاصمة اليهودي قد أعلنت عبر الإنترنت بأنه «حفل استقبال للدبلوماسيين الشباب»، يهدف إلى جمع المهنيين اليهود الشباب الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 22 و45 عاماً، بالإضافة إلى المجتمع الدبلوماسي في واشنطن. وقالت المجموعة في الدعوة الإلكترونية: «نحن متحمسون لتقديم موضوع هذا العام: تحويل الألم إلى هدف»، مضيفةً أن الفعالية ستضم أعضاء من مجموعات تعمل على الاستجابة للأزمات الإنسانية في جميع أنحاء الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا. وقال تيد دويتش، الرئيس التنفيذي للجنة «نشعر بحزن عميق لوقوع عمل عنف لا يُوصف خارج مقر الفعالية».
«التحريض على معاداة السامية»
وأكّد الرئيس الإسرائيلي إسحاق هرتسوغ أن «الإرهاب والكراهية لن يكسرانا»، مشدّداً على أن «إسرائيل والولايات المتحدة ستبقيان متّحدتين للدفاع عن شعبينا وقيمنا المشتركة». واتّهم وزير الخارجية الإسرائيلي جدعون ساعر الدول الأوروبية بالتحريض على بلاده، قائلاً خلال مؤتمر صحافي: «هناك صلة مباشرة بين التحريض المعادي للسامية والمعادي لإسرائيل وجريمة القتل هذه». وأضاف: «هذا التحريض يُمارس أيضاً من جانب قادة ومسؤولين في العديد من الدول والهيئات الدولية، خصوصاً في أوروبا»، في إشارة إلى المظاهرات الكبيرة في عدّة مدن حول العالم تنديداً بالعملية العسكرية في غزة. وواجهت إسرائيل عاصفة من الانتقادات الأوروبية في الآونة الأخيرة مع تكثيف حملتها العسكرية في غزة، إذ حذرت منظمات حقوقية من أن الحصار الإسرائيلي المستمر منذ 11 أسبوعاً على إمدادات المساعدات جعل القطاع الفلسطيني على شفا مجاعة. وتوالت التنديدات من باريس وبرلين ولندن وروما والمفوضية الأوروبية بما عُدّ هجوماً معادياً للسامية. ومنذ هجوم حركة «حماس» غير المسبوق على إسرائيل في السابع من أكتوبر (تشرين الأول) 2023 الذي أدّى إلى اندلاع الحرب في غزة ومقتل أكثر من 50 ألف فلسطيني بحسب بيانات الحركة التي تعدّها الأمم المتحدة موثوقة، تشهد الولايات المتحدة، كغيرها من البلدان، موجة من الحراك المؤيّد للفلسطينيين، لا سيّما في الجامعات، فضلاً عن تنامي الأفعال المعادية للسامية. والخميس، أقرّ «حزب الاشتراكية والتحرير» اليساري الراديكالي في الولايات المتحدة بأن رودريغيز كان «لفترة وجيزة» من بين أعضائه سنة 2017، لكنه أكّد على «إكس» أن المشتبه به لم يعد ينتمي إلى صفوفه وألا صلة له بالهجوم المنفذ.
«من أجل غزة»
وفي مقطع فيديو متداول على شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، يظهر رجل ملتحٍ يضع نظّارتين ويرتدي سترة وقميصاً أبيض يتعرّض للتوقيف ويُقتاد من عدّة أشخاص، دون أيّ مقاومة.وقبل الخروج من الباب، يتحوّل إلى الكاميرا والحضور هاتفاً مرّتين «حرّروا فلسطين». وأخبر شهود أن منفذ الهجوم في واشنطن دخل بعد العملية إلى المتحف اليهودي، إذ ظنّ الحرس أنه من الضحايا قبل أن يكشف هو عن فعلته. وقالت كايتي كاليشير لوسائل إعلام أميركية: «كانت الساعة نحو 21:07 عندما سمعنا طلقات نارية. ثم دخل رجل بدا أنه فعلاً في حالة صدمة. وكان الناس يتكلّمون معه ويحاولون تهدئته. وأتى للجلوس إلى جانبي فسألته إن كان بخير وإن كان يريد شرب الماء». وأخبر يوني كالين بدوره أن «حرّاس الأمن سمحوا بدخول الرجل، ظنّاً منهم، في اعتقادي، أنه ضحية. وقد بلّله المطر وكان بكلّ وضوح في حالة صدمة… وجاءه البعض بالماء وساعدوه على الجلوس… فطلب منهم الاتّصال بالشرطة». ثمّ أخرج كوفية وأعلن مسؤوليته عن الهجوم قبل أن يُقتاد من دون أيّ مقاومة. وقد قال بحسب كاليشير: «أنا فعلتها، فعلتها من أجل غزة». وكان يردّد: «ما من حلّ سوى الانتفاضة»، بحسب كالين قبل إخراجه من المبنى وهو يهتف «حرّروا فلسطين!». وفي عام 2014، قتل الفرنسي مهدي نموش أربعة أشخاص في هجوم استهدف المتحف اليهودي في بروكسل.
