“حزب الله لبناني، لا أستطيع أن أؤكد أو أنفي أن إيران تدعمه، ولكن هذا لا ينفي أنه لبناني، وأن شريحة واسعة من الشعب اللبناني تؤيده… إلخ” هذا الكلام الصادر عن نائب رئيس الحكومة طارق متري وأحد أقطاب اليسار اللبناني، ليس تفصيلًا عابرًا، بل يكشف الذهنية السياسية التي لا تزال تتعامل مع حزب الله وكأنه شأن لبناني محض داخلي، متجاهلةً ارتباطه العضوي بالمشروع الإيراني في لبنان والمنطقة.
وهنا نفهم أكثر الأسباب التي تقف وراء امتناع حكومة نواف سلام عن حسم مسألة السلاح_غير الشرعي، وعرقلة الإطار التنسيقي، وتعثر المسار التفاوضي اللبناني- الإسرائيلي، والتباطؤ في جمع سلاح المخيمات الفلسطينية، وغيرها من الملفات السياسية والأمنية التي لا تحتمل المواربة أو المساومة.
ولتنشيط ذاكرة اللبنانيين، نذكر بأن اليسار اللبناني وقف، على مدى الخمسين سنة الماضية، إلى جانب كل المشاريع الخارجية التي استباحت سيادة لبنان، بدءًا من الغزوة الفلسطينية، مرورًا بالاحتلال السوري، وصولًا إلى الهيمنة الإيرانية… ووفّر لها الدعم السياسي والإعلامي والعسكري، مرتكبًا بذلك جرم الخيانة الوطنية، والحقارة الأخلاقية.
وأخيرًا نقول لنائب رئيس الحكومة ورفاقه من أهل اليسار داخل الحكومة وخارجها، إن لبنان الوطن والشعب ينبذكم لأنكم لا تستحقون شرف الانتماء إليه.

A statement by the head of the Guardians of the Cedars Party – Lebanese Nationalist Movement: “Hezbollah is Lebanese. I cannot confirm or deny that Iran supports it, but this does not negate the fact that it is Lebanese, and that a broad segment of the Lebanese people supports it… etc.” This statement, issued by Deputy Prime Minister Tarek Mitri, a leading figure of the Lebanese left, is not a trivial detail. Rather, it reveals the political mindset that continues to treat Hezbollah as a purely internal Lebanese matter, ignoring its organic link to the Iranian project in Lebanon and the region.
Here, we better understand the reasons behind Nawaf Salam’s government’s refusal to resolve the issue of illegal weapons, its obstruction of the coordination framework, the stalling of the Lebanese-Israeli negotiation process, the slow pace of collecting weapons from Palestinian camps, and other political and security issues that cannot tolerate ambiguity or compromise.
To refresh the memory of the Lebanese people, we remind them that the Lebanese left, over the past fifty years, has stood alongside every foreign project that violated Lebanon’s sovereignty, from the Palestinian invasion to the Syrian occupation and the Iranian hegemony… providing them with political, media, and military support, thus committing the crime of national treason and moral depravity.
Finally, we say to the Deputy Prime Minister and his fellow leftists, both inside and outside the government, that Lebanon, the nation and its people, reject you because you do not deserve the honor of belonging to it.
We are at your service, Lebanon.
