جيش لبنان الجنوبي لم يكن حزباً يعمل لمصلحة الزعامة ومصالحها.
جيش لبنان الجنوبي كان جزءً من الجيش اللبناني وعمل على الدفاع عن القرى والبلدات الحدودية المتنوعة الاديان وحمى الكنيسة كما الجامع والخلوة.
جيش لبنان الجنوبي كان بريئاً من الصراعات الزعاماتية الدامية وصراعات المصالح والمال الحرام وسرقة الدولة وتفكيك وشرذمة مؤسساتها.
جيش لبنان الجنوبي لم يكن جزءً من الفساد الاخلاقي الذي جعل من لبنان محمية للعصابات وشذاذ الآفاق.
لقد كان جيش لبنان الحنوبي حالة لبنانية خاصة بريئة من كل ما جرى في لبنان من خيانات وصراعات قاتلة وبيع وشراء للبلد بالمزاد العلني من اجل حفنة من المال او كرسي مخلعة لا جدوى منها سوى بيع الدماء وبيع الضمائر.

The South Lebanese Army was the legitimacy when legitimacy fell.
It was the Lebanese Army when the Lebanese Army disintegrated.
It was the non-sectarian state in an age of sectarianism.
It was the guardian of identity and the entity in a time when the entity was fracturing and identity was being lost.
The South Lebanese Army was not a party working for the benefit of political leaderships and their interests.
The South Lebanese Army was part of the Lebanese Army and worked to defend the border villages and towns of diverse religions, protecting the church as well as the mosque and the khalwa.
The South Lebanese Army was innocent of the bloody leadership rivalries, the conflicts of interests, illicit money, the theft of the state, and the dismantling and fragmentation of its institutions.
The South Lebanese Army was not part of the moral corruption that turned Lebanon into a sanctuary for gangs and outcasts.
The South Lebanese Army was a unique Lebanese phenomenon, innocent of all the betrayals, deadly conflicts, and the buying and selling of the country at public auction for the sake of a handful of money or a worn-out chair of power whose only purpose was the selling of blood and the selling of consciences.
