أَحْبِبِ ٱلرَّبَّ إِلهَكَ مِنْ كُلِّ قَلْبِكَ، وَكُلِّ نَفْسِكَ، وَكُلِّ قُدْرَتِكَ، وَكُلِّ فِكْرِكَ، وَأَحْبِبْ قَرِيبَكَ كَنَفْسِكَ
إنجيل القدّيس لوقا10/من25حتى37/:”إِذَا عَالِمٌ بِالتَّوْرَاةِ قَامَ يُجَرِّبُ يَسُوعَ قَائِلاً: «يا مُعَلِّم، مَاذَا أَعْمَلُ لأَرِثَ ٱلحَياةَ الأَبَدِيَّة؟». فَقَالَ لَهُ: «مَاذَا كُتِبَ في التَّوْرَاة؟ كَيْفَ تَقْرَأ؟». فَقَالَ: «أَحْبِبِ ٱلرَّبَّ إِلهَكَ مِنْ كُلِّ قَلْبِكَ، وَكُلِّ نَفْسِكَ، وَكُلِّ قُدْرَتِكَ، وَكُلِّ فِكْرِكَ، وَأَحْبِبْ قَرِيبَكَ كَنَفْسِكَ». فَقالَ لَهُ يَسُوع: «بِالصَّوابِ أَجَبْتَ. إِفْعَلْ هذَا فَتَحْيَا».
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbour as yourself
