President of the Guardians of the Cedars Party – The Lebanese Nationalist Movement, issued the following statement:
On the third anniversary of the October 7 massacre, we watched yesterday the video footage of the barbaric slaughter carried out by the executioners of Hamas, whose brutality surpassed the crimes of the Tatars, the Mongols, and all the barbarians of history.
These horrifying scenes help us understand two fundamental realities:
First: The magnitude of the harsh Israeli response to these crimes and the drive to avenge their innocent victims.
Second: The impossibility of achieving the two-state solution advocated by Western countries, given the growing Israeli security concerns and the need to prevent the recurrence of such savage massacres.
Conclusion: These scenes brought back to our memory the wounds left by the massacres of Damour, Chekka, Aishiyeh, and many others, which were marked by killing, abuse, and boundless hatred. They remain bloody chapters in Lebanon’s history, committed by Palestinian factions and their followers. This led us at the time to proclaim the slogan:
“No Palestinian will remain on Lebanese soil.”
