Congratulations to the Brave People of the USA & President Donald Trump Elias Bejjani/November 09/2016
The great American people were frustrated and disillusioned by the ongoing presidential status quo of stagnation, indecisiveness, hesitation, and mere laissez-faire attitudes, both domestically and internationally. They were desperately longing for a change from this unhealthy status quo and for a strong leader they could trust to bring about that change.
In Donald Trump, they found the leader they were seeking. They believed in his vision and, accordingly, cast their votes for him, sending him victoriously to the White House. Hopefully, this very different new president, Donald Trump, will deliver on all the promises he made during his campaign.
The Middle East, in particular, stands to benefit greatly from a strong, decisive American president like Donald Trump. The region urgently needs him to draw clear red lines, take the lead, defeat the terrorists, and play the vital role that the Obama administration neglected, allowing conflicts and crises to worsen.
Trump has made history by winning the presidential election despite the numerous challenges, obstacles, and false accusations he faced. As a Canadian-Lebanese activist, I am relieved and optimistic about his victory because I believe he will address and rectify the disastrous policies of the Obama administration, particularly in the Middle East.
All Arab rulers and regimes must now join forces with the Trump administration to strongly deter, contain, and permanently stop the aggressive, hostile, sectarian, and terrorist activities of the Iranian Mullahs’ regime, as well as their bold and bloody interference in neighboring countries.
Special thanks go out to all the American Lebanese activists who strongly supported Trump, especially Dr. Walid Phares, one of Trump’s most active and intellectual advisers.
