John 17/20-23: "‘I ask not only on behalf of these, but also on behalf of those
who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one. As you,
Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us, so that the world may
believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given
them, so that they may be one, as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they

Ballot Jihad: How Political Islam Uses Elections in
Europe and America as a Weapon to Infiltrate the West and Achieve Empowerment
and Islamization

Introduction: America Votes, and Political Islam Seeks an Opportunity for
Empowerment
The US elections held yesterday, Tuesday November 03, 2026, were not just a
normal election or a traditional democratic transfer of power. The results,
which led to the Democratic Party taking control of both houses of Congress
after Republicans lost many seats, raise a very dangerous question about the
future of the West, and about the ability of Western democracies to protect
themselves from ideological movements that use the freedoms available to reach
power and expand influence.
What deserves attention is not only the victory of Democrats and the defeat of
Republicans, but the nature of the electoral alliances formed inside American
society, and how different political forces used population, religious, and
cultural blocs, including organized Muslim voting blocs, to reach
decision-making centers. Americans and Westerners in general must understand
that political Islam, both Sunni and Shia, especially Muslim Brotherhood
currents, does not look at elections the way liberal democracies do. All these
movements treat elections as a means to reach power, build institutions and
influence, and achieve their ideological, political, and religious projects.
Ballot Jihad.
After armed jihad, coups, assassinations, and terrorism, the ballot box has
become in the calculations of all jihadist Islamic movements a very important
political and organizational weapon. The goal is not just to win a parliamentary
or local seat, but to use the win to build power and influence that opponents
will find hard to confront later.
US Election Results and Their Political Message
Yesterday's results showed a big shift in the American balance of power, as
Democrats (left, gay groups, political Islam) regained the majority in the House
and Senate, and won in states considered Republican strongholds. One notable
event was the win of Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Sayed for a Senate seat in Michigan,
known for his ideological affiliation with the Muslim Brotherhood groups and his
family, becoming the first Muslim elected to this chamber in US history. This
event has political, demographic, and electoral importance, but by itself it
does not mean political Islam has taken over American institutions, nor does it
prove that all Muslim voters vote according to one organizational directive.
The problem we discuss is much deeper.
Organized voting blocs, whatever their identity, can become influential in close
races, and turn into a bargaining force that imposes conditions on major
parties. When ideological organizations like the Muslim Brotherhood invest in
this fact, it becomes necessary to monitor their programs, connections, and
political goals. American democracy allows a Muslim citizen and a non-Muslim
citizen to vote, run for office, and reach the highest positions, and this is a
constitutional right that must not be touched. But it does not give any Islamic
or non-Islamic organization the right to use these freedoms to cancel the
freedoms of others or to impose an ideological rule on them.
Ballot Jihad... The New Weapon of Political Islam
We must be clear about the plans, tricks, and taqiyya of political Islam, which
does not always need a rifle, a suicide bombing, or an armed militia to achieve
its goals. It can use elections, party alliances, associations, educational
institutions, media, municipalities, and unions as multiple fronts for one
political battle, and this is the essence of what we call ballot jihad. In
democratic societies, political Islamic movements have wide space for freedom,
organization, and expression, and can benefit from laws that protect religious
and political pluralism. But the danger begins when these freedoms turn into
tools to build a jihadist and religious authoritarian project that does not
really believe in the right of others to exercise the same freedoms.
The electoral empowerment strategy of these jihadist and terrorist Islamic
organizations is based on:
Mobilizing voters on the basis of religious, ideological, and organizational
loyalty.
Using demographic weight in close electoral districts.
Pressuring major parties to get political concessions.
Building temporary electoral alliances with forces that differ ideologically.
Organizational control or wide influence over civil society institutions.
Placing their cadres in municipal councils, legislative institutions, and
centers of influence.
Turning electoral gains into long-term political, legislative, and media
influence.
Thus the ballot box becomes, in the calculations of these movements, a front of
political jihad... It is a battle not necessarily fought with weapons and all
kinds of terrorist operations, but with votes, organization, money, alliances,
and exploiting legal and political loopholes. The question the West must ask is:
Do these organizations accept democracy as a permanent principle, or do they
accept it only when it is a path to power?
The Muslim Brotherhood and the Empowerment Project
It is impossible to understand a basic aspect of contemporary political Islam,
both Sunni and Shia, without studying the concepts, doctrines, plans, and
projects of the Muslim Brotherhood, founded by Hassan al-Banna in Egypt in 1928.
The Brotherhood is not just a charity or traditional religious movement, but an
ideological movement with a transnational political and organizational project,
based on making Islam the reference for governance, society, and the state. Over
decades, the group's methods and branches evolved, some entered elections and
parliaments, formed political alliances, and some reached power. But electoral
participation does not automatically mean abandoning the jihadist ideological
project or accepting all foundations of a civil state and liberal democracy. The
concept of empowerment (tamkeen) in the literature of all jihadist Islamic
currents refers to moving from the stage of building the organization and social
base to the stage of expanding influence and reaching centers of power. Here
lies the importance of monitoring what these movements announce in their
electoral programs, what they say in their internal literature, and what they do
when they hold power. Therefore the West should not be satisfied with hearing
democratic slogans, but should ask about the real position on freedom of belief,
women's rights, rights of Christians and Jews, freedom of expression,
independence of judiciary, and peaceful transfer of power.
Taqiyya, Gradualism, Abrogation... The Problem of Temporary Discourse
One of the issues to stop at when studying the political religious discourse of
Muslim Brotherhood groups in all their organizations and branches is the issue
of gradualism in action, the gap between public discourse and political
practice, and how religious texts are used to serve ideological goals. These
movements present themselves in Western societies as moderate, defending
freedoms, pluralism, and minority rights, while in their other literature or
positions they adopt different views about state, society, and source of
legislation. We should not consider every moderate discourse as deception, or
attribute taqiyya to every Muslim, but we have the right, indeed the duty, to
ask about the extent to which public discourse matches the actual political
program. Here the importance of studying the concepts of taqiyya, gradualism,
and empowerment in their jurisprudential and organizational contexts appears,
and not allowing them to be used to justify hiding political goals or evading
accountability. As for dividing Quranic verses into peaceful verses in the phase
of weakness and fighting verses in the phase of strength, it is a complex
interpretive and jurisprudential subject, and it should not be reduced to one
equation that applies to all Muslims. But what the West must understand is that
religious and electoral slogans are not enough to judge any movement. The
criterion is its real program and its behavior when it has power.
The Opportunistic Alliance Between the Left, Political Islam, and Gays
One of the paradoxes worthy of criticism and study in Western politics is the
emergence of electoral and interest-based alliances between currents of the
radical left and groups of political Islam and gay groups. This alliance is not
based on unity of doctrine or values, but on intersection of immediate electoral
and political interests. The left needs Muslim voters' votes in some districts,
political Islam needs doors to institutions where the left has influence, and
alliances that help it expand its political presence... and gays need forces
that support their demands... Here a stark paradox appears. Political Islamic
groups adopt very conservative positions, reject homosexuality, and oppose basic
aspects of individual freedoms defended by leftist groups. Yet, we find
electoral and political intersections between the three parties when their
interests meet against a common opponent. The left raises slogans of diversity
and pluralism, while Islamic movements allied with it adopt religious and
political views that do not accept pluralism in the liberal sense... The same
opportunistic equation applies to the alliance of gays with those who stay
silent or support their life and rights demands.. What kind of alliance is this?
And what intellectual harmony is there between projects, aspirations, concepts,
values, and lifestyles that are contradictory? It is an alliance of interests
and votes, not an alliance of principles. And the danger is that some Western
parties may discover too late that the votes they invested in do not necessarily
adopt the social and cultural project they defend.
Example of Hamas and Gaza... What Does Political Islam Do After Winning?
The experience of Palestinian Hamas provides a model that must not be ignored
when discussing political Islam's relationship with elections. In January 2006,
jihadist and terrorist Hamas won the majority of seats in the Palestinian
Legislative Council, in elections in which Fatah and other political forces
participated. But in June 2007, after bloody armed confrontations with Fatah,
Hamas took control of Gaza by force, expelled the Palestinian Authority from it,
and established a unilateral rule under which no new general elections were
held. These facts are not just historical details, but raise a fundamental
question about the difference between electoral victory and respect for
democracy. Elections give the winner the right to govern within the constitution
and law, and do not give him the right to abolish opposition or use weapons
against opponents or monopolize power indefinitely. Here the difference appears
between democracy as a fixed political value, and democracy as a tactical means
to reach power.
Hitler and the Historical Lesson That Must Not Be Forgotten
European history itself provides a stark example of the danger of totalitarian
movements reaching power through political and constitutional paths. Adolf
Hitler reached the position of Chancellor on January 30, 1933 by presidential
appointment, after the Nazi party became a large electoral force and benefited
from alliances and political maneuvers.
After reaching power, he used state institutions and exceptional laws to
dismantle democracy, ban opposition parties, and establish a dictatorial regime.
Here the historical lesson is clear: Reaching power through elections or
constitutional procedures alone does not prove that the movement is committed to
democracy. Peoples have the right to know in advance whether whoever reaches
power will preserve the rights of his opponents, or will use his authority to
eliminate their political existence.
Role of Qatar, Turkey, and Iran... Money, Organization, and Weapons
Sunni and Shia political Islam based on the ideological concepts of terrorist
Muslim Brotherhood groups cannot be studied apart from the regional and
international influence network that supports it and invests in its expansion,
and here three countries with different roles stand out:
Qatar: Has wide financial, media, and diplomatic tools, and has a history of
relations with movements and figures linked to political Islam, in addition to
influential international media influence.
Turkey: Under Recep Tayyip Erdogan, it became a political ally of a number of
Islamic currents, and uses its political, media, and economic tools to enhance
its regional influence.
Iran: Leads a Shiite political and military Islamic project under the authority
of Wilayat al-Faqih, and uses its affiliated armed organizations in the region
to expand its influence at the expense of state sovereignty.
Sunni and Shia political Islam are not one organization, but they intersect in
many cases in putting ideological and organizational reference above the concept
of an independent nation-state. The Sunni side includes multiple currents and
organizations, including the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, al-Qaeda, and Boko Haram,
with big differences in structure, goals, and means among them.
As for the Shia side, arms of the Iranian regime stand out, foremost Hezbollah
in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, and armed Iraqi factions linked to Tehran.
These organizations are not all identical in their goals or methods, but their
existence forces Western countries to deal with external financing, cross-border
organizations, and political and military interventions seriously and
transparently.
The Eastern Message to the West
We in the Middle East do not read these issues from books alone. We have lived
long experiences with religious and political regimes, with armed organizations,
and with countries where pluralism collapsed before the authority of doctrine
and weapons. In Lebanon, we know well what it means for an armed organization to
have the decision of war and peace outside state institutions, and for loyalty
to an external reference to come before loyalty to the constitution and
homeland, and we also know how religious slogans, resistance, and jihad can turn
into tools to justify monopolizing power and decision. Therefore the warning we
direct to the West is not a warning against Muslims, but against political Islam
that wants to turn religion into political authority above constitution and law.
A Muslim who lives in America or Canada or Europe, respects the constitution,
believes in equality, and accepts the right of others to exercise their
freedoms, is a citizen with full rights and duties. As for the organization that
wants to exploit democracy to establish a system that does not recognize the
rights of those who are not its followers, it is an opponent of democratic
principles, regardless of the religion it uses as a cover for its project.
Conclusion: From Jihad by Sword to Jihad by Ballot
The recent American elections should be an occasion for a deeper reading of the
future of Western democracy, and to notice that political conflict in modern
societies does not always happen with weapons, but may happen through ballot
boxes, party alliances, institutions, money, and media. Ballot jihad is the
political expression of using elections as a means for empowerment, when the
goal of democratic participation becomes reaching power, not respecting its
rules, values, and principles, and political Islam, both Sunni and Shia,
deserves serious critical study that does not flatter or compromise, and does
not confuse it with Islam as a religion or Muslims as citizens. Hence the West
must not deal naively with organizations that raise slogans of democracy in
opposition, then reject pluralism when they reach power. Also the left must not
ignore ideological and political contradictions with its electoral allies just
to get extra votes... In the same context, gays should not ally with those who
criminalize, prohibit, and betray their social lifestyle... And most
importantly, Western institutions must not overlook any external financing or
organizational connection or attempt to impose religious authority on civil
society. The ballot box is not a weapon against democracy, but it can be turned
into a political weapon against it when used by movements that do not accept
peaceful transfer of power nor equality among citizens. Jihad by sword destroyed
countries and societies, and ballot jihad may turn into another path to
empowerment if accountability, transparency, and protection of institutions are
absent. Beware that the ballot box turns into a Trojan horse through which
enemies of pluralism and groups of terrorism and barbarism enter democratic
institutions!
Democracy does not protect itself just by opening ballot boxes, but by
protecting the constitution, law, freedoms, and the right of every citizen to
live free, whatever his religion, origin, or belief. The West is not required to
abandon its democracy, but is required to understand that everyone has the right
to participate in elections, and no party has the right to use this
participation to abolish democracy itself.
Finally, it is very important that the world, with all its countries and
systems, understands the reality of the contradictions in the Muslim
Brotherhood's discourse:
In the phase of weakness in the West and in any country in the world (Dar al-Harb
/ House of War), the Muslim Brotherhood raises the Meccan verses - the verses of
patience and peacefulness:
"O you who have believed, persevere and endure and remain stationed" [Al-Imran:
200]
"And be patient, and your patience is not but through Allah" [An-Nahl: 127]
"Indeed, Allah is with the patient" [Al-Baqarah: 153]
"And if they incline to peace, then incline to it and rely upon Allah" [Al-Anfal:
61]
"There shall be no compulsion in religion, the right path has become clear from
the wrong" [Al-Baqarah: 256]
"For you is your religion, and for me is my religion" [Al-Kafirun: 6]
With these verses they address the West: We are moderate, democratic, we believe
in coexistence.
And at the time of empowerment and strength (Dar al-Islam/House of Islam) in any
country, the Muslim Brotherhood applies the Medinan verses - the verses of the
sword and empowerment which abrogate what came before them:
"And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you
find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every
place of ambush" [At-Tawbah: 5]
"Fight those who do not believe in Allah nor in the Last Day" [At-Tawbah: 29]
"And fight them until there is no fitnah and the religion, all of it, is for
Allah" [Al-Anfal: 39]
"And He brought down those who supported them among the People of the Scripture
from their fortresses

Whoever God has blessed let him extend his hand with humility and love to
the needy.
Elias Bejjan/November 02/2026
https://eliasbejjaninews.com/2026/11/158763/
In this life where fortunes shift like the wind, some people succeed while
others stumble. It is not necessarily because the successful one is smarter, nor
because the one who stumbles is less capable, but because God distributes
talents, opportunities, and circumstances as He wills. He gives freely, and He
gives with a wisdom we do not always understand. Some people find doors opening
before them; others find them closing again and again; and still others are born
carrying in their body or soul a wound they cannot heal alone.
Here arises the moral, human, and faith-based duty: that the one whom fortune
has favored should extend a hand to the one whom it has not. This is not a favor
— it is a debt. The success we enjoy is not purely our own possession; it is a
trust from God, a free gift, and a responsibility. As the Lord Jesus said to His
disciples: “Freely you have received; freely give” (Matthew 10:8). These words
alone are enough to condemn every form of arrogance and every closing of the
heart.
Often the real test takes place within the same family. One member succeeds
financially or socially, another falters, and a third falls prey to an illness
that prevents him from relying on himself. Whether it is addiction or any other
physical, psychological, or mental disease, the sick person is a human being in
need, and the healthy are called to stand beside him, not to abandon him.
Illness is not a shame that deserves neglect, nor a weakness that justifies
forgetting. Whoever possesses health, money, and ability must become a support
for the one from whom illness has stripped independence and the dignity of
self-reliance. Abandoning the sick in their weakness is a betrayal of blood and
of conscience; standing by them is a human and faith duty that does not fall
away with the type or severity of the disease. Expectations of them must be
realistic, and they must be treated with mercy, patience, and respect — not with
judgment or superiority. As the Apostle Paul wrote: “Bear one another’s burdens,
and so fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2).
Likewise, when one member of the family becomes wealthy while the others remain
in need, wealth is no justification for arrogance, distance, or forgetfulness.
Rather, it is a call to humility and love. Scripture repeatedly urges us in this
direction: “But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need,
yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him?” (1 John
3:17). And again: “So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone,
and especially to those who are of the household of faith” (Galatians 6:10). A
person did not create himself, nor did he grant himself his intelligence or his
opportunities — so how can he look down on the one who was not given what he was
given?
Pride and arrogance do not come from God, but from the devil. Wealth that strips
a person of his humanity, humility, and compassion for others is empty wealth,
no matter how large the account. True wealth is the kind that keeps the hand
extended and the heart merciful. As the Lord Jesus warned: “Take care, and be on
your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the
abundance of his possessions” (Luke 12:15). And He also said: “Do not lay up for
yourselves treasures on earth… but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven”
(Matthew 6:19-20).
One of the most dangerous things that can happen is when sons or daughters
succeed and then forget their parents. Parents are the root; they are the ones
who gave and continue to give. Honoring and caring for them in old age and
weakness is a duty that does not disappear with success or wealth. Whoever
abandons his father and mother after becoming rich abandons part of his own
humanity. Scripture reminds us: “Honor your father and mother (this is the first
commandment with a promise)” (Ephesians 6:2).
In the end, remember, you who have succeeded: the day the Lord takes back the
deposit of life, you will take nothing of the earth’s riches with you. You will
leave everything behind just as you left it the day you arrived. As Job the
righteous man said with profound honesty: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be
the name of the Lord” (Job 1:21). No money, no position, no status will
accompany you — only the love you gave, the hand you extended, and the humility
you preserved.
So extend your hand today, while you are still able, before the day comes when
you can no longer do so. Helping is not a favor; it is a right of human
brotherhood, a duty of faith, and proof that the grace you received has not
corrupted your heart. As the Lord Jesus said on the day of judgment: “Truly, I
say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it
to me” (Matthew 25:40).

The Faith and Patriotism of Father
Najeeb Al-Ameel versus the Trojanism and Diabolism of the Regime, the Rulers,
the Judiciary, and the Politicians under the Barbaric Occupation of Hezbollah
Elias Bejjani/31 October 2026

Oh the shame, oh the horror, oh the disgrace!
What Father Najeeb Al-Ameel, the priest of the steadfast town of Rmeish, has
been subjected to at the hands of an unjust, ungrateful female judge—stripped of
all human feeling, detached from reality and conscience, a compliant tool in the
hands of the barbaric Iranian occupier, who knows nothing of the judiciary but
its name—is a vile insult to everything that is human, to humanity itself, to
reason, values, principles, and conscience.
It is a judicial and humanitarian crime complete in all its elements: a priest
who stood with his people in the most difficult circumstances, who strengthened
them on their land and refused their displacement, is summoned and accused of
issuing a threat merely because he asked, with bitter sarcasm, about the
impossibility of resorting to any force other than the Lebanese state under
occupation. Instead of being honored for preserving the land, honor, and
dignity, he is treated as a suspect.
In this context it a must to read the words of the Lord Jesus in the Gospel of
Matthew (Chapter 23): “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you
shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor
do you allow those who are entering to go in… Woe to you, blind guides… For you
pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters
of the law: justice and mercy and faith.
It also veryhelpfull to read in the Gospel of Saint Luke (11:42-46) the Lord’s
rebuke of the Pharisees and lawyers who load people with burdens hard to bear,
while they themselves will not touch them with one of their fingers, yet neglect
justice and the love of God.
This female judge—an instrument in the hands of the terrorist and jihadist
Hezbollah—and those behind her, above her, and with her from the political
rabble, the so falesly called political parties, the companies, and the
agencies, are a filthy, degenerate, and diabolical contemporary version of those
same scribes, Pharisees, and Trojans across the ages, for they turn a blind eye
to occupation, destruction, displacement, and killing.
Therefore, in a loud voice that will not be silenced, I say with a clear
conscience and deep conviction: May the curse of heaven fall upon the Lebanese
regime, the rulers, and the judiciary of Lebanon, upon all the political parties
apparatuses, companies, and agencies, and upon the political rabble of its
scribes, Pharisees, and Trojans.
O God, uncover what is hidden, replace the oppressors, and grant victory to the
truth and its people.

have no weight or value.. And the state and judiciary are busy confronting more
important and weightier issues, related to Lebanon's future and existence.. He
was summoned because he tried to avoid a dispute occurring between one of
Rmeish's sons who built an illegal room, and the town's police station which
requested its demolition! So, keen to prevent the case from escalating,
especially in light of the town being under Israeli occupation, Father Najib Al-Amil
wished to postpone handling the matter until suitable conditions are available,
to avoid any friction. However, the female judge in Sidon, who communicated with
Father Al-Amil, considered that his words involved a threat to her, and on this
basis insisted on summoning him for investigation, as he told her in a sarcastic
and denunciatory tone "What should we do, call the Israeli"? Believe it or not,
say civil sources from Rmeish to "Al-Markazia", instead of the people of border
villages and at the top of them Father Al-Amil being honored, because they are
steadfast with bare flesh in their land, and refuse to leave it despite
difficulties and military and security and livelihood threats, and despite being
abandoned by their state to their fate and destiny, they are summoned to
investigation for words they uttered, no more no less. We would have remained
silent, the sources continue, if justice was "working" on everyone, from those
who threaten national security and Lebanon's interests and defy legitimacy and
its decisions "openly", from the south to Dahr al-Baidar passing through
parliament, to the smallest violator of a traffic signal... But to ignore all
vices and leave those who dragged Lebanon into wars again and again and who
assassinated the free and stockpiled weapons and explosives, for fear of
provoking them, and to devote oneself in return to oppressing those who resist
and are steadfast and give the noblest image of Lebanon and its south, then here
is the great calamity, and here is the great fall of Lebanon as a state and
people and institutions and values. This issue may be handled today away from
the limelight, but regardless of what it will lead to, what is certain is that
Father Al-Amil, a priest with the rank of resistor and president and judge and
state, protected his parish and was steadfast with it and watched over its
interest and prevented its oppression, when those who were supposed to play this
role, were watching or oppressing or betraying...
No trust in Hezbollah... and sanctions may affect Berri and Jumblatt?
Al-Markazia / 04 Nov 2026
A high-ranking political source confirmed to MTV that "No one trusts that 'the
Party' will fulfill its promise regarding not fighting a war to support Iran and
the precedent of last March is evidence of lack of trust in it, for it turned
against the state." And the source indicated that what may be meant by American
sanctions on politicians accused of obstructing implementation of the decision
to restrict weapons could be Nabih Berri and Walid Jumblatt. And the
high-ranking political source added: "Berri is for the establishment of the
state and suffers from a big wound on his environment as a result of Hezbollah's
arbitrary decisions but he does not say that in public but rather expresses it
in his private councils."
Nasrallah ignites dispute between Amal and 'the Party'... Israeli report reveals
tension in the south!
Al-Markazia/ 04 Nov 2026
The Israeli Alma Research and Education Center revealed new tensions between
Amal Movement and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, against the background of a
dispute within one of the municipal councils regarding naming a main street
after the former Secretary-General of Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah, in an incident
considered by the center as an indicator of continued competition between the
two allies over influence and management of local institutions, despite their
political alliance. According to a report prepared by researcher Dvir Bery in
the Alma Center, information published on 27 October 2026 reported that
representatives of Amal Movement in the municipal council of the town of
Halousieh, in Tyre district, threatened to resign following a dispute with
Hezbollah representatives over naming the main street in the town. The report
explained that representatives of Amal Movement proposed jointly naming the
street after the movement's founder Imam Musa al-Sadr and the former
Secretary-General of Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah, while Hezbollah representatives
insisted on dedicating the naming to Nasrallah alone. This position provoked
objection from Amal representatives, who refused to refer the matter to a vote,
demanding reaching a consensus that preserves partnership within the municipal
council. They also accused the council president of undermining this partnership
and turning the municipality into a partisan tool. The report pointed to a
historical paradox in this dispute, noting that Hassan Nasrallah himself was
influenced in his youth by the thought of Imam Musa al-Sadr and admired him,
which prompted him to join Amal Movement before founding Hezbollah. The Israeli
center indicated that tension in Halousieh municipality is not the first of its
kind, recalling a dispute that occurred in January 2021, when 5 members
affiliated with Amal Movement, including the vice president of the municipal
council, boycotted council sessions for more than 3 months. According to these
members' account, among the reasons for boycott was placing the logo of the
Islamic Health Authority affiliated with Hezbollah on an ambulance registered in
the name of the municipality, which prompted Amal representatives to demand
removal of the logo, based on their rejection of using public property to serve
partisan interests. The Alma report considered that the current dispute reflects
continued competition between Hezbollah and Amal Movement over influence and
resources and presence within the Shiite environment, pointing out that
political alliance between the two parties does not prevent emergence of local
conflicts related to managing public institutions and providing services, and
sometimes military activity near residential areas, as appeared, according to
the center, in incidents witnessed in the recent phase. Nevertheless, the report
stressed that these incidents are not enough, at the current stage, to conclude
existence of a big rift between the two organizations, but it considered that
they reveal that their interests do not always coincide, even in areas where
they share political and social influence. The Israeli center concluded by
raising a question about the extent of readiness of Amal Movement's popular base
to bear the costs resulting from Hezbollah's behavior, in reference to the
possibility of local disputes turning into a source of pressure within the
relationship between the two allies.
American warnings of Beirut remaining a "lame duck" in face of weapons
Nidaa Al-Watan/ 05 Nov 2026
The results of the American midterm elections have introduced the Middle East
into a phase of anticipation and ambiguity, amid questions about whether they
will push Washington to de-escalation and being satisfied with "soft power"
tools of economic sanctions and continued blockade on Iran, or to escalation
using "hard power," i.e. the military option. But Lebanese calculations cannot
bear betting on either of these two possibilities, as the American approaches,
with both its "Republican" and "Democratic" wings, and the Israeli meet at a
fundamental constant, which is disarming "Hezbollah." In light of this equation,
the Lebanese state remaining a "lame duck" unable to impose its sovereignty and
monopolize the decision of war and peace, leaves the country exposed to the
"Iranian Revolutionary Guard." What makes the scene more complex is that the
firmness of the American position on weapons does not guarantee continued
interest in Lebanon. Estimates of American sources to "Nidaa Al-Watan" indicate
that the White House and Congress may seek to contain the cost of confrontation
with Iran, without that translating into a sustainable settlement on the
Lebanese arena. Washington may pressure Israel regarding Gaza and the West Bank,
or to prevent a new confrontation with Tehran, while it is unlikely to exert
similar pressure on the Lebanese front.
Zamir from Khiam: Threats to expand strikes
In parallel, the field tour of Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir in the northern
region carried additional military messages. He conducted a situation assessment
during his visit to Khiam, and reviewed the "Robotic Combat Team" model
displayed by Israeli forces. Zamir stressed that Israel will not allow
"Hezbollah" to rebuild its military infrastructure or enhance its capabilities,
warning that any attempt to threaten northern towns will be met with an
immediate and strong response. And he considered that "Hezbollah" proved during
the war that it is "an Iranian arm and not a Lebanese national," accusing it of
harming Lebanon's and its citizens' interests. And he confirmed readiness of the
Israeli army to confront developments on near and far fronts, and directing
strikes to any enemy trying to threaten Israel.
Salam from Baabda: No to adventures of others
And before these pressures and warnings, the official Lebanese position calling
to fortify the country from repercussions of any new regional confrontation
emerged. In this context, President of the Republic Joseph Aoun received in
Baabda Palace Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and discussed with him general
conditions in the country and region. And after the meeting, Salam warned of
dangers of renewed war and dragging Lebanon into "a new absurd adventure in
service of foreign interests," stressing that Lebanese, especially sons of the
south, paid heavy prices from their lives and livelihoods and properties. And he
affirmed that decision of war and peace must remain exclusively in hands of
state and its constitutional institutions, rejecting turning Lebanon again into
an arena for others' conflicts. And Salam's message was not limited to the
Lebanese-Israeli front, but extended to Lebanon's relations with its Arab
surroundings, as he strongly condemned interference of any Lebanese elements or
groups in internal affairs of Arab countries, especially through military
activities threatening their security, the latest of which is what the Yemeni
government announced.
Anticipated Qatari movement and Iraqi visit
And in light of this complex scene, diplomatic endeavors continue searching for
exits preventing widening confrontation. And in this framework, "Nidaa Al-Watan"
learned that Qatari initiative regarding weapons file in Lebanon may be
activated during coming days, in parallel with mediation led by Doha between
Washington and Tehran. However sources see that it is early to talk about
tangible and rapid results for these endeavors. And Qatari movement is not
limited to political side, but extends to energy sector. It has been decided to
postpone the session scheduled for today, to next week, due to Minister of
Energy and Water Joe Saddi having to travel to Doha to follow up talks with
Qatari side regarding its offer to develop electricity sector in Lebanon and
modernize it. And in Arab framework, Lebanon awaits visit of Iraqi Prime
Minister Ali al-Zaidi on 18 November current. In a station expected to acquire a
political character in first degree, in light of common challenges facing the
two countries, especially illegal weapons and Iranian influence.
Dahr al-Baidar: Interrogations and anticipated arrest warrants
And in parallel with political and diplomatic movement, the file of Dahr al-Baidar
explosives shipment entered a new phase, after First Military Investigative
Judge Ghada Abu Alwan received the file, and set today a date for interrogation
of detainees Haitham Amhaz and Ali al-Kurdi, in preparation for issuing two
face-to-face arrest warrants against them. She also requested security agencies
to notify all defendants whose full identities are known of the session date for
necessity of its attendance. In case they fail to attend, she may head to
issuing arrest warrants in absentia against them.
Port investigations: Bitar interrogates four officers
And on a parallel judicial line, a new development was recorded in
investigations related to Beirut port explosion, where Judicial Investigator
Judge Tarek Bitar interrogated four retired officers in the army, based on the
Public Prosecution's مطالعة prepared by Judge Mohammad Saab, and included
prosecution against them on suspicion of prior knowledge of existence of
ammonium nitrate in port. Interrogations included former Chief of Staff Major
General Walid Salman, and retired Brigadiers Manuel Koljian and Georges Moussa
and Mounir Abu Zeid, in presence of Judge Saab for first time. This step
reflects resumption of cooperation between judicial investigator and Public
Prosecution, after phases of judicial complications that accompanied
investigation. Bitar did not issue decisions to arrest the four officers or
release them on residence bonds, provided that Public Prosecution completes its
مطالعة regarding them. He also intends to re-summon defendants previously
interrogated and no judicial action was taken against them. Sources of "Nidaa
Al-Watan" clarified that these developments fall within context of expanding
list of defendants with crimes of murder and harm and arson and vandalism,
coupled with probable intent stipulated in Article 189 of Penal Code, which is
based on expecting criminal result and accepting risk of its occurrence, and not
merely knowledge of existence of danger.
Escalating Israeli attacks targeting southern villages..
Artillery shelling on Mansouri and Zebqin and explosion of Israeli drone in
Majdal Silm
Janoubia/ 04 Nov 2026
Israeli attacks and violations on villages and towns of southern Lebanon
continued from early dawn hours until this morning Wednesday 4 November 2026;
where means of field escalation varied between continuous artillery shelling,
explosion of a drone within a residential scope, up to targeting agricultural
workshops and throwing sound bombs in vicinity of citizens while they were
harvesting olive season, in a clear attempt to restrict locals and intimidate
them. An Israeli drone threw sound bombs directly in vicinity of farmers during
their work harvesting olives in Halta farm west of town of Kfar Shuba, without
recording any human injuries. And intensive Israeli artillery shelling had
continued since dawn today until morning hours, targeting course of Wadi al-Salouqi,
and towns of Sirbin and Hadatha, in addition to outskirts of Zebqin and Wadi al-Hujeir.
And hostile artillery shelling renewed in morning to affect town of Mansouri and
outskirts of Wadi Zebqin again. And in a notable security incident in town of
Majdal Silm, an Israeli drone slipped and exploded during its attempt to storm a
residential house, where it got stuck in iron window protections before blowing
itself up without occurrence of any losses or human injuries among residents.
And areas of border strip and neighboring valleys witness a state of continuous
tension in light of continuous and intensive flying of Israeli reconnaissance
aircraft over southern villages.
Israel questions Hezbollah's promises regarding Iran war...
Will Lebanon stay out of the confrontation?
Janoubia/04 Nov 2026
With escalating tension between the United States and Iran, the possibility of
Lebanon being dragged into a new military confrontation has returned to the
circle of Israeli interest, amid skepticism about pledges attributed to
Hezbollah not to intervene in any upcoming war between Washington and Tehran.
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation "Kan" quoted a Lebanese source as
considering that these promises do not constitute a sufficient guarantee to
neutralize Lebanon, given that Hezbollah's position is linked to the course of
the confrontation and field developments.
According to the report by the Israeli corporation, Hezbollah affirms that it
will not engage in the anticipated confrontation between the United States and
Iran, but the Lebanese source quoted by "Kan" questioned the adequacy of these
pledges, considering that they do not guarantee that the war will not spread to
Lebanese territory. This comes amid conflicting information regarding
Hezbollah's position, after previous Lebanese and Arab reports spoke of messages
it conveyed to Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, stating that it does not intend
to participate in any new war in support of Iran. In contrast, other reports
quoted a Hezbollah official denying that prior guarantees were given to any
party, pointing out that the decision to participate or not is linked to the
nature of the confrontation and what Israel might do. In a related context,
press reports indicated that Tehran does not intend to ask Hezbollah to
intervene militarily in the event it is subjected to an American attack, based
on the assessment that the party's participation would not necessarily change
the balance of the confrontation, but could place Lebanon before wide-ranging
military repercussions. These facts reflect a discrepancy between what is
conveyed about Hezbollah's messages regarding its unwillingness to engage in the
war, and what is attributed to its officials affirming that the final decision
remains linked to the nature of developments. In parallel, Israeli information
spoke of a request conveyed to Lebanon through American mediators, calling for
security measures to prevent Hezbollah from engaging in any new war, including
the deployment of the Lebanese Army and the establishment of checkpoints in
areas linked to Hezbollah elements. But there is no proven official Lebanese
approval of these measures, which keeps them within the framework of conveyed
demands, not decisions taken. The "Kan" report thus raises again the issue of
trust in political pledges attributed to Hezbollah, at a time when statements
and leaks remain conflicting regarding the existence of actual guarantees of
non-intervention. Between the messages attributed to the party and Israeli fears
of a change in its position depending on the course of the war, the central
question remains: Will undeclared pledges succeed in keeping Lebanon out of the
confrontation, or will regional military developments impose a different path?
Zamir in Khiam with field messages... What is the Israeli
army preparing for the Lebanese front?
Janoubia/04 Nov 2026
In a field visit that carried direct military messages to the Lebanese front,
Israeli Army Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir inspected the Northern Command and the
91st Division, and toured the Khiam area, vowing to prevent Hezbollah from
rebuilding its capabilities or consolidating its military presence near the
border. The visit coincided with the presentation of a new combat model based on
robotic and technological means, amid directives to accelerate the introduction
of these technologies into combat units. Zamir was accompanied during the visit
by Northern Command Commander Rafi Milo, Ground Forces Commander Nadav Lotan,
and 91st Division Commander Yuval Gez, along with a number of military
commanders. He conducted a situation assessment and met with brigade commanders
operating within the division's area of responsibility. During his tour in the
Khiam area, Zamir reviewed a model called by the Israeli army "Robotic Combat
Team," where forces demonstrated the integration of robotic and technological
means into field operations. Zamir described the 91st Division as the "forward
defense line" for residents of northern Israel, pointing out that the army is
working to consolidate the concept of "forward defense" near border towns. In a
direct message regarding Hezbollah, Zamir affirmed that the Israeli army will
not allow the party to establish military infrastructure or enhance its
capabilities in the area, threatening that any attempt to re-establish its
presence or threaten northern towns will be met with an "immediate and strong"
Israeli response. He also accused the party of working for Iran and harming the
interests of the Lebanese state and its citizens, accusations that fall within
the Israeli position and narrative. Zamir affirmed that his forces are following
developments in arenas he described as near and far, and that they are ready to
act when needed. On the technological level, Zamir praised the model presented
by the 769th Brigade and the 869th Intelligence Gathering Battalion, considering
that operating robotic means in front of forces and alongside them enhances
operational effectiveness and reduces risks to soldiers. He ordered accelerating
the integration of these capabilities into combat units, in a step that reflects
a trend toward expanding reliance on technology and unmanned means in field
operations.
In reviewing operations on the northern front, Zamir said that the Northern
Command continued over the past three years to target Hezbollah and work to
reduce its capabilities, adding that the Israeli army is ready, in his words, to
expand its operations if the need arises.
The visit comes as part of the Israeli army's follow-up of its units deployed on
the front with Lebanon, in parallel with developing combat models that rely more
heavily on technology and unmanned means, and continued Israeli military focus
on the border area and the 91st Division.
The explosives case.. First American comment on prosecution
of Hezbollah members
Sky News Arabia / 04 Nov 2026
Amid mounting pressures on Lebanon to restrict weapons to the state, and fears
of the country sliding again into a military confrontation with Israel, an
American official renewed his country's firm position on Hezbollah's weapons
file, stressing the need to complete disarming it and dismantling its military
infrastructure throughout Lebanese territory. A spokesperson for the US State
Department, in exclusive statements to Sky News Arabia, said Washington praises
the charges brought so far in the explosives case and continues to follow it
closely, stressing that "there should be no leniency with anyone involved in
terrorist plots."
Disarming Hezbollah
He also pointed out that the tripartite framework clearly stipulates that the
Lebanese government will re-establish the state's monopoly on the use of force,
achieve full and verifiable disarmament of all non-state armed groups, and
ensure that these groups do not play any military or security role, nor possess
any armed capabilities anywhere inside Lebanon. The US State Department
spokesperson affirmed that "the Lebanese government pledged to implement these
commitments, and the United States expects it to fulfill them fully," noting
that "Washington supports the full implementation of the tripartite framework,
including the complete disarmament of Hezbollah and the dismantling of its
terrorist infrastructure in all Lebanese territories." He also considered that
"Hezbollah's weapons have brought to Lebanon nothing but suffering, wars, and
economic destruction," describing them as "the main obstacle to the country's
reconstruction, the implementation of reforms, and the return of the displaced."
The explosives shipment case
The American statements come at a time when Lebanon is witnessing the fallout of
the explosives shipment case that was seized in the Dahr al-Baidar area, while
being transported from the east of the country to the capital Beirut, on October
8th, which includes 250 kilograms of TNT, and 250 kilograms of highly explosive
C4. The Lebanese Military Court had indicted 13 people, including 12 belonging
to Hezbollah and the wife of one of them, in the case, on charges including
violating government decisions, possession of weapons and explosives, and
forming illegal associations with the aim of undermining the authority and
prestige of the state. The Government Commissioner at the Military Court, Judge
Claude Ghanem, referred the file to the First Military Investigative Judge Ghada
Abu Alwan, to complete investigations and issue the necessary arrest warrants,
while the penalties stipulated in the legal articles relied upon in the
indictment reach hard labor for ten years. The party had acknowledged ownership
of the explosives shipment about a week after it was seized, and demanded the
release of detainees and the return of the shipment to it.
The AFP had previously revealed, quoting an American official who asked not to
be named, that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio urged Lebanese President Joseph
Aoun, during a telephone call, to hold accountable everyone who issued orders to
transport the shipment or financed it or managed it, stressing that returning
the explosives to Hezbollah should not be an option.
New Lebanese warnings
The American pressures also coincide with an official Lebanese position warning
of the repercussions of any new military escalation, as Prime Minister Nawaf
Salam renewed his rejection of dragging the country into a confrontation it
cannot bear the consequences of, in a reference to Hezbollah and its role in
involving Lebanon in the regional war. Salam said, on Wednesday, after meeting
President Joseph Aoun at the Presidential Palace, that in light of the risks of
renewed war in the region, he reiterates his warning against the consequences of
dragging Lebanon into "any new absurd adventure in service of foreign interests
and throwing it into confrontations it cannot afford to bear." He stressed that
protecting Lebanon is a national responsibility that requires placing its
supreme interest above any other considerations, and commitment that the
decision of war and peace be exclusively in the hands of the state and its
constitutional institutions, adding: "We will not accept that a fate they did
not choose be imposed on the Lebanese, or that their homeland be turned again
into an arena for others' conflicts."
Motorcycle targeted in Qabrikha.. Has Israel returned to assassination policy in
the south?
Janoubia/04 Nov 2026
In a new Israeli escalation in southern Lebanon, an Israeli drone targeted, this
Wednesday afternoon, a motorcycle in the town of Qabrikha, resulting in one
martyr and one wounded according to preliminary information. The targeting comes
in the wake of a series of Israeli attacks that hit several southern areas since
dawn, varying between artillery shelling, low-altitude drone overflights, and
throwing sound bombs in the vicinity of farmers. In details, field information
in the south reported that Israeli artillery shelling continued until the early
morning hours, targeting Wadi al-Salouqi and the towns of Sirbin, Hadatha, the
outskirts of Zibqin and Wadi al-Hujeir. The town of Majdal Silm witnessed the
explosion of an Israeli drone, after it tried to enter a house, before it got
caught on iron fixed to one of the windows and exploded, without recording human
injuries. In another development, an Israeli drone threw sound bombs in the
vicinity of farmers who were working on harvesting olives near the Halta farm,
west of the town of Kfar Shuba, without injuries.Israeli artillery shelling also
targeted the course of the western Zoutar River, while Israeli drones were
spotted flying between houses in the town of Tibnin. On the line of the latest
raid, the military correspondent in the Israeli Army Radio Doron Kadosh quoted a
security source that the army targeted two suspected persons in the town of
Qabrikha, near what is known as the "Yellow Line" in southern Lebanon, after
they approached, according to the source, Israeli forces in the area in a manner
considered a threat to them, in an operation described by the army as "threat
removal." Kadosh indicated that the targeting is considered exceptional, as the
Israeli army has not targeted suspects in southern Lebanon for many long weeks,
even within what it describes as "threat removal" operations. In contrast,
Israeli Channel 12 reported targeting two Hezbollah members in Qabrikha, while
it was circulated that those targeted belong to the Al-Risala Association for
Health Ambulance and that the martyr is Nasr Mohammad Younis. According to
available information, the raid resulted in one martyr and one injured, while it
is noted that the last Israeli targeting of a motorcycle dates back to September
4th. This comes amid continued Israeli attacks on various southern areas, amid
growing fears of widening the scope of targeting and its field developments.
Lebanon in the eye of the regional storm: Between betting
on waiting rooms and fear of the "Southern Vacuum" and Israeli escalation
Janoubia/04 Nov 2026
The Lebanese scene is dominated by a state of extreme caution and anticipation,
with growing political and security fears of the repercussions of a potential
renewal of military confrontation between the United States and Iran, amid
increasing warnings of the dangers of involving Lebanon in the fragments of this
conflict through the gateway of "Hezbollah." These developments come at a time
when Tehran's return to linking the Lebanese file to its regional negotiation
tracks has not generated any official or political comfort in Beirut, as a new
attempt was detected to reposition the Lebanese arena as a bargaining chip,
especially after the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that "stopping the war
on all fronts, including Lebanon, is a basic condition for any agreement" with
Washington. In parallel, Lebanon faces a decisive and imminent entitlement
represented by the danger of an acute international vacuum that will arise in
the south with the end of the mandate of UNIFIL forces at the end of the current
year.
Danger of UNIFIL withdrawal and sustainable occupation of the south
In this context, the newspaper An-Nahar revealed, quoting a senior international
source, a prominent warning that southern Lebanon is heading toward a scenario
of direct confrontation between the Lebanese Army and the Israeli Army. This
comes in light of the actual approach of the withdrawal process of UNIFIL forces
scheduled for early January, and in the absence of any serious international
initiative to find an alternative force or international monitoring mechanism to
replace it. The international source explained that time is narrowing
dramatically, as until this hour no international decision has been taken
regarding replacing the international forces with a multinational force or a
team of international observers. And he warned that the continued absence of a
Lebanese initiative and French action, accompanied by American rejection of any
international alternative, may leave southern Lebanon exposed to a dangerous
reality not limited to the resulting security and military vacuum, but extends
to drawing the danger of consolidating a long-term Israeli occupation.
The American waiting room and Israeli mobilization in the north
And on the diplomatic moves level, information from the newspaper Nidaa al-Watan
reveals that recent contacts made by President Joseph Aoun with the American
side showed the inclusion of the Lebanese file in the "waiting room" until the
results of the American midterm elections become fully clear. However, this
freezing of the political track does not cancel the existing security risks,
especially if Tehran decides to move the southern front which Israel awaits with
military voracity. And in a practical indicator of Israeli preparations for any
escalatory scenario, the municipality of "Karmiel" in northern Israel announced
keeping public shelters open and ready to receive residents in anticipation of a
military confrontation with Iran that its spark may extend to the Lebanese
front, pointing out that these precautionary measures were taken about two weeks
ago. These facts coincide with diplomatic estimates that the Trump
administration seeks to achieve a negotiating breakthrough with Tehran by
including the nuclear file within a broader basket of mutual concessions without
making it an exclusive precondition. However, this trend collides with Iranian
skepticism and a categorical Israeli "veto," as Tel Aviv stipulates the
disarmament of "Hezbollah" and the complete dismantling of its military
structure for its approval of any settlement, waving the all-out war to impose
these conditions. And circles of governance in Lebanon fear that the government
of Benjamin Netanyahu will succeed in undermining any American-Iranian
rapprochement and pushing the region towards open war to impose field realities
and a new occupation that includes cutting off the south up to the Awali River,
and occupying the cities of Tyre, Sidon, and Nabatieh, and imposing a naval
blockade on the ports of Beirut and Tripoli, at a time when the obsession of
"Hezbollah" re-engaging in the confrontation dominates again.
Intertwining of the three tracks and pressures of the monitoring mechanism
For his part, a diplomatic source confirmed to Al-Joumhouria newspaper that the
Lebanese scene intertwines three main tracks: Israeli preparation for widening
the regional confrontation, an attempt to push the Lebanese state to strengthen
its security and field presence, and the increasing complications that obstruct
the Lebanese-Israeli negotiations related to sovereignty and verification
mechanisms. The source pointed out that American pressures are being exerted on
the Lebanese Army to take field measures including deployment and establishing
checkpoints on roads in areas where "Hezbollah" is present, to limit its ability
to engage in fighting if the Iranian-American war renews. Which puts Beirut
before double pressure to prevent escalation and turn the army's presence into a
field control factor. And despite the efforts made by the three presidents to
ascertain Hezbollah's non-involvement in any confrontation, the fear of reneging
on these pledges remains, so that official messages remain mere reassurances and
not an inevitable commitment. As for the Lebanese-Israeli negotiations line, the
source affirmed that no new date for contacts between the two sides has been
set, due to the repercussions of the American elections and the non-resolution
of forming the Israeli government, in addition to the fundamental disagreement
over the monitoring and verification mechanism for the selected areas being free
of weapons; where Lebanon rejected an Israeli proposal to entrust the task to
non-governmental organizations, while Israel rejected the Lebanese proposal to
use the Truce Supervision force (UNTSO) of 1949. And the source concluded that
the disagreement over the monitoring mechanism is a sovereign issue affecting
the limits of supervision on the ground, pointing out that requests for direct
coordination between the Lebanese and Israeli armies are linked to a Lebanese
decision that stipulates full withdrawal and ending hostile acts and preventing
parallel negotiation tracks to Washington's vision, which are conditions met
with categorical rejection in Tel Aviv.
Abu Arz: Lebanon... the word of history (6)
X platform/November 04/2026
The people of Athens honored the Phoenician philosopher Zeno (Xenon), founder of
the Stoic school, and engraved his honorary decree on two monuments.
And his student Zenodotus the Stoic wrote in his praise: "And if Phoenicia is
your homeland, who can rival you? Was not Cadmus also a Phoenician, to whom the
land of the Greeks owes all that it wrote?"
Conclusion: We used to establish schools of thought, and teach peoples
writing... so we have become, in this miserable time, living in a homeland where
people of thought are marginalized, and where people of ignorance, corruption
and terrorism come to the forefront.

The decision of war and peace is in the hands of the state
only.. Salam from Baabda: We warn against an absurd adventure that implicates
Lebanon and condemn Hezbollah's interventions in Yemen
Janoubia / 04 Nov 2026
President of the Republic Joseph Aoun received Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and
discussed with him the general situation in the country and the region, and they
also discussed the agenda of the Council of Ministers session tomorrow in the
Grand Serail. After the meeting, President Salam made the following statement:
"In face of the dangers of renewed war in the region, I reiterate the warning
against the consequences of dragging Lebanon into any new absurd adventure in
service of foreign interests and throwing it into confrontations it cannot
afford to bear the consequences of. The Lebanese, especially our people in the
south, have paid heavy prices from their lives and livelihoods and homes, and it
is their right to live safely, and to build their future away from the cycle of
wars and displacement and destruction. Protecting Lebanon is a national
responsibility that requires prioritizing its supreme interest over any other
calculation, and commitment that the decision of war and peace be exclusively in
the hands of the state and its constitutional institutions. And we will not
accept that a fate they did not choose be imposed on the Lebanese, or that their
homeland be turned again into an arena for conflicts of others; so our duty is
to safeguard its sovereignty, protect its people, and exert every effort to
spare it a new war. And in this context, I denounce and strongly condemn any
Lebanese elements or groups interfering in internal affairs of Arab brothers,
especially carrying out any form of military activities that threaten security
and safety of their countries, the latest of which is what the brotherly
government of Yemen announced. And these are acts that can only result in harm
to Lebanon and interests of its sons. We are keen, with utmost keenness, to
respect sovereignty of our brothers and their security, and prevent harm to
them, as we look forward to strengthening our relations with them and developing
them on solid foundations of mutual trust.

Syrians and injuries reported
Janoubia/ 04 Nov 2026
In a new security development on the eastern border, units of the Lebanese Army
confronted an attempt to smuggle a group of Syrians into Lebanese territory
illegally, in the area of Wadi al-Raayan - Bab al-Hawa at the outskirts of the
town of Arsal, which led to a confrontation in which injuries were recorded,
according to preliminary information. In details, field information reported
that a group of Syrians, including a woman, attempted to enter Lebanon across
the border illegally, before army elements intervened and intercepted their
path. And the confrontation led to injuries, without its toll or nature being
clear until now. While information indicated, the driver of the vehicle that was
carrying the group fled to an unknown destination, while army units continue
combing and search operations in the area to track fugitives and apprehend those
involved in smuggling operation. The incident comes in context of ongoing
efforts exerted by the Lebanese Army to control eastern border, extending from
Arsal to Hawsh al-Sayyed Ali, and limit smuggling and illegal infiltration
operations via irregular crossings.
New claims and interrogations in Palace of Justice.. Bitar
moves port file by claiming against 4 retired army officers
Janoubia/ 04 Nov 2026
In a notable judicial development that re-moves the file of Beirut port
explosion from the gate of the military institution, Judicial Investigator Judge
Tarek Bitar claimed against four retired officers in the Lebanese Army, and
interrogated them successively today Wednesday 4 November 2026 in Palace of
Justice in Beirut. It was reported that list of defendants included former Chief
of Staff retired Major General Walid Salman, alongside retired Brigadiers:
Georges Moussa, Mounir Abu Zeid, and Manuel Karjian. Judicial data indicates
that Judge Bitar proceeded immediately after claiming to implement interrogation
sessions for the four officers inside his office in Palace of Justice. This
field step comes in wake of judicial investigator receiving مطالعة of the Public
Prosecution (consisting of 270 pages) in last September, which included demands
and general orientations regarding final path of investigations. Followers of
judicial affairs see that Bitar's move by claiming against this group of retired
military leaderships comes within framework of completing detailed
interrogations and settling administrative and security responsibilities related
to entry and storage of shipment of "aluminum nitrate" [sic - intended: ammonium
nitrate], and that in preparation for sealing preliminary investigation and
preparing to issue anticipated indictment decision in case that claimed lives of
more than 220 persons and injured thousands of Lebanese.
Hezbollah denies presence of its experts in Yemen
Al-Markazia / 04 Nov 2026
Al-Markazia - The Media Relations in Hezbollah "categorically denied the claims
issued by Interior Minister" of so-called Yemeni Transitional Council, regarding
presence of experts from Hezbollah in Yemen and their participation in managing
military operations and developing armament and training capabilities for
brothers in Ansar Allah. And it affirmed that these accusations are completely
baseless and do not rely on any facts. And Media Relations in Hezbollah
clarified that "The dear Yemeni people possesses capabilities and potentials and
experiences that make it capable of defending its country and its sovereignty in
face of any aggression or threat or blockade, and that it is not in need of
support or intervention from anyone, and that is what it proved in confronting
American and Israeli aggression against it, and in its support for Gaza." And it
stressed that serious and responsible dialogue between Yemenis is the real path
to address any dispute or problem, in a way that preserves unity of Yemen and
its sovereignty and stability, and foils plots of enemies of nation aiming to
fuel conflicts between peoples and fragment countries of region.

Midterm elections.. Democrats control
Congress in both chambers ... Results will change features of two years of
President Trump's era
Riyadh: Al-Arabiya.net / 04 Nov 2026
Democrats won American Congress in both chambers, at expense of Republicans,
after fierce competition. And United States of America contested midterm renewal
elections for American Congress, in ballot considered as important political
test for President Donald Trump and his Republican Party, amid battle over
balance of power in Washington. And candidates competed over seats of House of
Representatives amounting to 435 seats, and 35 seats out of 100 in Senate, in
addition to positions of governors of 36 states.
Trump: Iran war affected elections but I was forced to wage
it ... American President considered war on Iran was worthwhile
Washington: Agencies / 04 Nov 2026
American President Donald Trump acknowledged, today Wednesday, that war with
Iran affected results of midterm renewal elections in United States, but he said
"Iran issue" was matter he was forced to do. And Trump said, during ceremony of
installing last steel beam in new celebration hall in White House, that war on
Iran was worthwhile despite his admission of its role in losses suffered by his
Republican Party in midterm renewal elections for Congress and its cost of
losing control of both chambers of Congress. And in response to a question about
statements of his deputy JD Vance who considered that war on Iran is "reason of
defeat," Trump said in talk to journalists from construction site of celebration
hall in White House "I think that is largely true, because (war) caused fuel
prices to rise a little in short term," pointing out that if "I were forced to
make decision again I would do same thing again. For long term, this is only
solution. Iran cannot be allowed to possess nuclear weapon." Also Trump repeated
also his belief that "if I were on ballot, we would have won." And added "But
they simply could not transfer that love. There was big love in those rallies,
it was incredible thing, and we could not transfer this love to candidates." And
expressed his belief that he will be able "probably" to reach understanding with
Democrats, warning saying: "If Democrats proceed to hold me accountable with aim
of impeaching me then it will lead to destruction of Democratic Party." And in
response to question about possibility of launching impeachment procedures, day
after big defeat suffered by his Republican Party in midterm renewal elections,
Trump said "I think that will destroy Democratic Party if they proceed with it,"
affirming that there is "no reason" to impeach him. This comes while Vance
distanced himself, today Wednesday, from war that Trump launched on Iran,
doubting its feasibility and holding it full responsibility for painful
electoral defeat that led to transfer of control of Congress to Democrats. And
Vance wrote in post on "X": "Reason for our loss is war. If you want to say that
war was worth it, and that our loss of Senate for next six years was price worth
paying, then say it. Say that it was price worth paying." And Vance also said
that a previous recommendation to end war was "sound advice." And Democrats won,
yesterday Tuesday, control of both Senate and House, achieving sweeping
victories in Republican strongholds for first time in generations. And voters in
conservative strongholds who pushed President to his second term only two years
ago, turned dramatically toward Democrats, driven by deep frustration from war
with Iran, and concern over rise in cost of living.
Leader of Democrats in Senate: War in Iran "must stop/Power
to control spending... is one of means to deter a president who wages war
without approval of people
Riyadh: Al-Arabiya.net and agencies / 04 Nov 2026
Leader of Democrats in American Senate Chuck Schumer said, Wednesday, that war
with Iran "must stop," hinting that prospective majority of his party in
Congress may use its control over government funding to pressure toward
achieving that. And Schumer said to journalists "This war must stop. It must
end," pointing out that "power to control spending" that Congress possesses "is
one of means to deter a president who wages war without approval of American
people." And American Vice President JD Vance had considered, Wednesday, that
"war (in Iran) was reason" for harsh electoral loss suffered by right and
President Donald Trump previous day. And Vance wrote who is being proposed
possibility of his candidacy for White House in 2028 in very long post for him
on platform "X": "War is reason of our defeat," adding "Everyone knows why we
lost, and any frank discussion about path we should take from now on must start
from here." And in first official reaction from Tehran to election results,
chief Iranian negotiator in talks with Washington and Speaker of Iranian Shura
Council Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf welcomed result. And wrote on platform "X": "Out
of conscience or because of cost of living, Americans said: No to war, and we
support this message."And efforts led by Qatar and Pakistan to mediate agreement
between Tehran and Washington did not achieve notable progress, amid growing
fears of return of fighting. And Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic Mojtaba
Khamenei warned, Wednesday, that war in Middle East will be wider in scope in
case of its resumption, and that in light of United States and Israel hinting at
new round of strikes on Iran, considering that results of American elections do
not mean change in Washington's policy. And Trump had recently threatened
renewal of military actions, and that accompanied with similar statements from
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. And after latter failed to achieve
sufficient majority to form government in Israeli legislative elections, last
week, American President, Tuesday, suffered sweeping defeat in elections that
will strip his Republican Party from control of Congress. And these results may
restrict Trump's ability to implement his agenda, while President retains
authority to issue orders to launch new strikes.
Get to know 7 faces that enhanced presence of Muslims and
Arabs in American Congress
7 Muslims in American Congress.. 3 Arabs and historic member opens doors of
Senate
Al-Arabiya.net and agencies / 04 Nov 2026
Muslim personalities recorded notable presence in American midterm renewal
elections for year 2026, with victory of seven candidates with seats in
Congress, in result that carried historic connotations, most prominent of which
is arrival of first Muslim to American Senate, alongside strengthening presence
of Arab Americans in legislative institution. And seven seats distributed
between Senate and House of Representatives, by one member in first and six in
second, and list included three Americans of Arab origins, Egyptian and
Palestinian, while backgrounds of other members varied between Somali and
African and Dominican.
Abdul Sayed.. first Muslim in Senate
And list topped by Democrat Abdul Sayed, winner of seat of state of Michigan in
Senate, after overcoming Republican Mike Rogers. And Sayed carries Egyptian
origins, and works as doctor, and previously assumed responsibilities in public
health sector. And his victory represents historic station as being first Muslim
elected member in American Senate. American doctor of Egyptian origins Adam
HamwayAmerican doctor of Egyptian origins Adam Hamway
Adam Hamway.. Egyptian doctor to Congress
And from New Jersey, American doctor of Egyptian origins Adam Hamway snatched a
seat in House of Representatives, to become first Muslim to represent state in
Congress. And he previously worked as military surgeon in American Army, also
volunteered to treat injured in Gaza in 2024.
Rashida Tlaib.. Palestinian voice
As for Rashida Tlaib, American of Palestinian origins, she retained her seat for
state of Michigan, to continue her fifth term in House of Representatives, where
she is considered among most prominent defenders of Palestinian rights inside
Congress.
Ilhan Omar.. refugee who reached Washington
And from Minnesota, Ilhan Omar won fifth term. She is American of Somali origins
who arrived in United States as refugee in her childhood, and became in 2019
first Somali American to enter Congress.
Andre Carson.. oldest Muslim members
And in state of Indiana, Andre Carson retained his seat, continuing
parliamentary march that began in 2008, to remain one of oldest Muslim
legislators in House of Representatives.
Latifah Simon.. from rights struggle to legislation

of civil rights, who entered Congress in 2025, and continued her presence in
House of Representatives.
Darializa Chevalier.. from university protests to Congress
And list completed with victory of Darializa Avila Chevalier from New York, who
is human rights activist American of Dominican origins who converted to Islam.
And she managed to defeat veteran Democratic Representative Adriano Espaillat,
after her name emerged in student movements and pro-Palestinian protests.
Red Texas cracks.. Democrats snatch Republican stronghold after 32 years ...
State considered for decades electoral fortress for Republicans transforms into
arena of wide Democratic victory
Al-Arabiya.net and agencies / 04 Nov 2026
Republicans received heavy electoral blow in state of Texas, in one of most
prominent surprises of American midterm renewal elections for year 2026, after
Democrats managed to achieve unprecedented breakthrough in their traditional
stronghold, snatching from Republican Party key political positions, among them
seat in Senate and position of governor of state, in transformation that redrew
political scene in second largest American states in terms of population. And
results came to put an end to more than three decades of Democratic absence from
victories in elections at state level, after Democrat Gina Hinojosa won position
of governor, overcoming Republican Greg Abbott, to become first Latina woman to
assume this position in history of Texas, and first Democratic governor for
state since 1995. And surprise did not stop at this limit, as Democrat James
Talarico snatched Texas seat in Senate, overcoming Republican Ken Paxton, in
victory described by Associated Press agency as historic, especially since last
time a Democrat won a seat in Senate for Texas goes back to year 1988. And
Republican losses extended to other positions, among them position of deputy
governor and Attorney General, also Democrats achieved gains in House of
Representatives in state, with their approach to ending 24 years of Republican
control over it.
Cost of living hits Republican stronghold
And electoral transformation was not child of one factor, as economic pressures
and rise in cost of living and corruption fears emerged among most prominent
issues that moved voters. Also repercussions of war with Iran and tariffs
imposed by administration of President Donald Trump reflected on economic
discussion during campaign. And Democrats focused their campaigns on purchasing
power and fighting corruption and opposing unorganized expansion of artificial
intelligence data centers, instead of making traditional cultural issues sole
axis of their competitions. Also Democrats recorded strong return in border
areas with Mexico, which witnessed notable transformations toward Republicans in
2024 elections, in indicator of changes within segments of voters of Latino
origins. And extensive poll of voters in Senate race showed that Talarico
harvested about three-quarters of votes of voters under thirty, and about 60% of
votes of voters of Latino origins. And Republican loss gains importance that
goes beyond borders of state, for Texas has long formed one of basic electoral
pillars for Republican Party in presidential races, due to its big population
weight and its presence in Electoral College. And recent transformation means
that Democrats now possess stronger foothold in state that is difficult for any
Republican presidential candidate to dispense with its votes, while Republican
Party faces challenge to rebuild its electoral base and restore confidence of
segments of voters. But Democrats' restoration of power does not mean end of
political division in Texas, as new leadership awaits thorny files related to
immigration and abortion and education and possession of weapons, in addition to
test of its ability to translate campaign promises into tangible policies. Thus,
Texas no longer merely a guaranteed Republican state in American political
calculations; 2026 elections revealed that traditional electoral strongholds are
not immune to change, and that high prices and corruption and decline of
confidence in ruling party may redraw map of competition even in most states
linked to it.
Gasoline defeats slogans .. pockets of American voters
punish Trump and Republicans ... electoral setback puts Trump's agenda before
new legislative opposition
Al-Arabiya.net and agencies / 04 Nov 2026
American ballot boxes this time were not merely arena of competition between
partisan slogans and political promises, but transformed into direct test of
Americans' ability to bear costs of daily life, after fuel and food and
inflation prices advanced to forefront of voters' interests, in an electoral
blow to party of President Donald Trump. For in mid-term renewal elections for
year 2026, anger of American voter was not limited to political disputes, but
extended to his daily wallet, where voter polls revealed that 87% were worried
in varying degrees about gasoline and diesel prices, while about 9 out of every
10 voters said cost of living was an important or decisive factor in choosing
their candidates. And fuel alone was not in crosshairs of anger; as exit polls
from polling centers showed that 88% of voters expressed concern about food and
grocery prices, while 39% placed economy at top of most important issues facing
country, ahead of other issues among them state of democracy and immigration.
And according to poll conducted by " Fox News" network in cooperation with NORC
foundation, 57% of voters worried about fuel and diesel prices voted for
Democratic candidates, in indicator of link between living pressures and shift
in voters' choices, although that is not evidence that gasoline prices alone
decided results. This anger coincided with repercussions of American war with
Iran, and what it raised of fears about prolonging duration of conflict and its
economic cost, in addition to its impact on energy markets. And same poll showed
that larger numbers of voters preferred ending military engagement to lower fuel
prices over resuming military operations to prevent Iran from developing nuclear
weapon. Also exit poll cited by Reuters agency found that about two-thirds of
voters held Trump responsible for rise in prices, while many saw that his
policies, including tariffs and war with Iran, worsened their economic
conditions. And these indicators came in conjunction with Republicans losing
control of both House of Representatives and Senate, in electoral setback that
placed Trump's agenda before new legislative opposition. Thus, 2026 elections
revealed that political promises are not always enough to convince voters, and
that big slogans may retreat before fuel bill and shopping basket. For in
American electoral calculations, question is no longer only who owns strongest
political discourse, but who can alleviate burdens on pockets of citizens.
Republicans' defeat opens door of changes in Trump
administration... Will Hegseth be first to leave?
Janoubia / 04 Nov 2026
Electoral losses suffered by Republican Party in Tuesday elections placed
American Secretary of War Pete Hegseth before questions about his future in his
position, amid reports that President Donald Trump discussed with his advisors
possibility of keeping him, in light of escalation of political pressures on
Administration due to repercussions of war on Iran. And informed sources told
network " CBS News," Wednesday, that Trump raised with his advisors, during
direct meetings and phone calls, questions about whether Hegseth should continue
in his position, and that after losses incurred by Republicans in elections.
According to sources, some White House aides expect that part of responsibility
for electoral losses will be borne by both commander of American Central Command
Brad Cooper, and Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine, due to
pivotal role they played in providing directives related to war on Iran. But
other sources indicated that Trump has not taken decision yet regarding
replacing Hegseth, while it is likely that pressures related to his future will
increase, especially since Democrats sought before elections to impeach him, and
their efforts to proceed with impeachment procedures may be strengthened in
light of what network reported about them enjoying strong majority in both
chambers of Congress.
And in context of search for potential alternatives, one of sources revealed to
" CBS News" that name of Republican Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis was
proposed to assume Department of Defense. According to source, some concerned
see that DeSantis may obtain Senate confirmation during transitional period, to
assume position officially after end of his term as governor of Florida on 5
January. In contrast, White House spokesperson Anna Kelly hastened to deny
existence of decline in Trump's support for Secretary of War, affirming that
President "places his full confidence in Secretary Hegseth." And Kelly praised
in her statement military operations in Iran and Venezuela, and Hegseth's
efforts to abolish policies adopted by Department of Defense during era of
former President Joe Biden, which focused on "diversity, equity and inclusion,"
and what she described as "progressive ideology." For his part, Vice President
American JD Vance linked electoral loss to war on Iran, as he wrote in lengthy
post on platform "X," Wednesday morning: "The reason behind our loss is war."
And that comes at a time when Trump administration engaged in direct military
confrontation with Iran. For since beginning of conflict in Feb 2026, Hegseth
adopted sharp offensive discourse, and described critics of war and Democrats in
Congress as "biggest adversary of United States." And despite initial intensive
airstrikes and destruction of Iranian missile platforms, war, according to data
contained in report, turned into war of attrition, with stoppage of oil
shipments via Strait of Hormuz and what that left of negative economic
repercussions inside United States. And while Trump has not decided his position
on Hegseth's future, these developments place Department of War and military
leaderships concerned with war on Iran in circle of questions, amid continuation
of debate about political and economic cost of conflict.
After confirmation of results... Netanyahu raises file of
foreign interference and Israel before battle of forming government
Janoubia / 04 Nov 2026
Israeli elections entered a new phase of political attraction, with scene moving
from announcement of official results to debate about integrity of ballot and
possibilities of foreign interference, after outgoing Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu talked about "serious suspicions" related to interference of foreign
countries to influence election results, in contrast to affirmation of Central
Elections Committee that its review did not reveal any violations that would
affect integrity of voting or change its results.
Netanyahu talks about foreign interference
And Netanyahu said, in video clip, that "there are serious suspicions that
foreign countries spent huge amounts of money to influence election results in
Israel," without revealing identity of countries he talks about or providing
details regarding nature of alleged interference and its size.
And this statement comes in context of escalating debate about ballot results,
after Netanyahu previously accused Arab parties of attempting to "steal
elections," in accusations that did not prevent elections committee from
completing procedures of auditing and ratifying results.
Elections Committee: No indicators to change results
In contrast, Central Elections Committee announced completion of review of
voting results and complaints submitted to it, affirming it did not find
violations indicating harm to integrity of electoral process or manipulation of
results. And auditing process included minutes of 9,069 polling centers,
alongside examination of electoral materials and documents when needed, before
fixing results and handing them officially to Israeli President Isaac Herzog.
For his part, head of Elections Committee, Judge Noam Solberg, indicated that
some suspicions related to possibility of existence of foreign interference
require investigation by competent authorities, but he stressed that these
suspicions do not constitute, at present stage, basis for challenging voting
results or doubting its validity.
Likud first and government formation consultations launch
And according to official results, party "Likud" headed by Netanyahu topped
parties by obtaining 27 seats out of 120 in Knesset, while centrist "Yashar"
party, led by former Chief of Staff of Army Gadi Eisenkot, came in second place
with 21 seats. And with no camp able to reap clear majority, scene moved to
stage of political consultations, after Herzog received official results and
started his meetings with representatives of parties, in preparation to receive
their recommendations regarding personality they see as most capable of forming
next government. And Israeli political system does not oblige President to
assign leader of party obtaining largest number of seats, as it returns to him
to choose personality he believes owns biggest opportunity to form coalition
enjoying confidence of majority of Knesset members.
Accusations of foreign interference open new front
And between Elections Committee clinging to safety of results, and Netanyahu
insisting on raising suspicions about interference of foreign countries, Israel
heads to delicate political stage, in which calculations related to forming next
coalition overlap with debate about integrity of electoral process.
And thus, battle in Israel is not limited to identity of next prime minister and
composition of ruling coalition, but extends also to mutual accusations
regarding ballot results, awaiting what investigations related to suspicions of
foreign interference may reveal.
Pack your things.. war is about to break out".. What is happening inside Tehran?
Janoubia / 04 Nov 2026
"Pack your things... war is about to break out." With this phrase, according to
circulating reports, students in Iranian schools were asked to leave their
classes, in scene reflecting size of anxiety that looms over capital Tehran,
amid series of unusual indicators, from sudden closure of schools and
interruption of communication and electricity networks, to distribution of
emergency equipment and increase in movement of ambulances and rescue vehicles.
And these developments come in light of escalation of security tensions and
fears of renewal of military confrontation in region, which opens door to
questions about nature of ongoing preparations inside Iran, and whether they
reflect precautionary measures or preparation for more dangerous security
scenario. And according to report published by site "Maariv Online" Israeli,
today Wednesday, Orit Perlov, analyst specialized in media and social networks
in Middle East, conveyed Tuesday, content of post via platform "X," dealing with
series of disturbances and exceptional measures witnessed by Tehran during
recent period. And according to post translated by Perlov, mobile phone networks
in capital witnessed interruptions and disturbances, as it came in it: "This
evening, both mobile phone networks Hamrah-e Aval and Irancell were cut off from
wide areas in Tehran for several minutes, while other areas witnessed continuous
disturbances in communications, some still continuing until now." But most
worrying development, according to circulating information, relates to
educational institutions, where schools in different areas of Tehran were closed
suddenly during past two months, and sometimes in middle of school day, amid
warnings of possibility of war breaking out. And in some cases, students were
told: "Pack your things, war is about to break out." And in other cases, parents
received calls from schools in which they were told phrase: "War broke out, come
to take your children." And measures talked about in post are not limited to
schools, but include also workplaces and public institutions. According to
transferred information, many organizations and institutions received custom
groups for staying in emergency cases, comprising guide booklets and basic
equipment and bags for first aid. And in parallel, information indicated
issuance of instructions to governmental institutions obliging directors to
allow employees whose nature of their jobs allows that to work from their homes
for no less than two days weekly. And in another notable development, post dealt
with conditions in surroundings of complex of residence of Iranian Supreme
Leader, known as "Beit al-Rahbari" or "Beit al-Qiyada." And according to
testimonies attributed to residents of areas surrounding complex, those areas
witness repeated and long interruptions in electric current. And it came in
transferred information: "According to residents residing in area, electricity
is cut off in these areas for consecutive days, from afternoon hours until late
hours of night, without any prior notice or explanation from electricity
company." And besides communication disturbances and electricity outage and
measures inside institutions, reports talked about unusual movement of emergency
mechanisms in streets of Tehran. And according to post, residents of different
areas of capital reported witnessing almost continuous movement of vehicles
launching alarm sirens throughout day, with noticeable increase of this movement
from afternoon hours until night. And these vehicles include mainly ambulances
and rescue and emergency mechanisms, which adds another indicator to series of
developments being circulated about conditions inside Iranian capital. With
that, circulating information stressed that interpretation of these incidents
remains conditional on validity of reports coming from Tehran. And post
concluded that "If reports are correct, then accumulation of these indicators
may indicate civil and institutional preparations to face scenario of military
escalation, in conjunction with security measures and disturbances in
communications." And between schools closing to beat of warnings of war, and
institutions receiving emergency equipment, and interruptions affecting
communications and electricity in sensitive areas of capital, circulating
reports draw worrying picture about conditions in Tehran, without constituting
in themselves confirmed evidence of approaching military confrontation. And
question remains raised about whether these measures reflect precautionary
preparations in anticipation of possibility of escalation, or indicators to more
urgent security threat, at a time when validity of data and its interpretations
still need confirmation.
Four tankers burning and two ships under detention..
Iranian Revolutionary Guard targets navigation in Hormuz in conjunction with
American strike on Qeshm
Janoubia / 04 Nov 2026
In dangerous field escalation threatening to blow up fronts of energy and
international navigation, Iran announced today Wednesday 4 November 2026
ignition of fire in four oil tankers after collision with sea mines while trying
to cross strategic Strait of Hormuz. And this development comes day after
announcement of American President Donald Trump about launching military strikes
against site in Iranian Qeshm Island — biggest islands of strait — in response
to navigation threats, and at a time when language of deterrence and Iranian
warnings escalate that "no one will benefit from outbreak of comprehensive
military confrontation." And official statement issued by Iranian Revolutionary
Guard conveyed by official news agency "IRNA" confirmed destruction of four
violating oil tankers that were trying to cross prohibited passage south of
Strait of Hormuz after collision with sea mines deployed by naval and aerospace
forces belonging to Revolutionary Guard, affirming that fires are still
devouring ships until hour, alongside detention of two other violating ships.
And these developments constitute peak of maritime ban imposed by Tehran since
outbreak of war on 28 Feb last, where navigation movement in waterway — through
which usually 20% of global oil and gas supplies pass — witnesses restrictions
and severe tensions, مقابل reciprocal American blockade of Iranian ports and
attempts of American fleet to secure lines of passage of tankers. These naval
strikes coincide with tight diplomatic movements, as Speaker of Shura Council
Iranian and chief negotiator Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf linked avoiding war to
American response to proposed draft, stressing in televised speech that Tehran
"puts its hand on trigger and presented strong and rational response." And in
related context, President Masoud Pezeshkian warned of widening scope of
conflict, affirming that dialogue remains only way to prevent economic and
military catastrophe in region.
Highly enriched uranium fuels dispute between Iran and International Agency...
Tehran responds to Grossi
Janoubia / 04 Nov 2026
The Iranian nuclear file returned to forefront of tension between Tehran and
International Atomic Energy Agency, against background of dispute over stockpile
of highly enriched uranium and possibility of verifying its status, after
Iranian mission to United Nations in Vienna responded to statements of Director
General of Agency Rafael Grossi, affirming that Iranian nuclear materials are
subject to accounting and follow-up, and stressing that Agency reports did not
prove diversion of any part of it to undeclared uses.
Tehran criticizes Grossi statements
And Iranian mission criticized, today Wednesday, positions of Grossi regarding
Iranian uranium stockpile, considering that he shows concern regarding these
materials, while remaining silent, according to its expression, toward attacks
that targeted Iran. And mission affirmed that Grossi knows that "every gram of
Iranian nuclear materials is subject to accounting and follow-up by Agency,"
adding that Agency reports did not include, according to its saying, any
indication of diverting even one gram of these materials to undeclared uses.
Grossi demands access to nuclear sites
In contrast, Grossi had expressed, during a briefing before Security Council on
27 October, Agency's concern regarding status of Iranian nuclear materials that
were previously declared, at forefront of which is about 440 kilograms of highly
enriched uranium. And Director General of Agency called on Tehran to provide
required information and allow inspectors access to necessary sites, with aim of
verifying status of these materials and following up Iranian nuclear activities.
And Grossi pointed out that Agency withdrew its inspectors from Iran by end of
June 2025, for security reasons after start of military attacks, clarifying that
verification activities continued at Bushehr plant, while access to other sites
still subject of demand from Agency's side.
Dispute continues over inspection and monitoring
And Tehran clings to that its nuclear program is dedicated to peaceful purposes,
while International Atomic Energy Agency affirms that restoring access to
concerned sites and obtaining required information constitute essential
condition to verify status of Iranian nuclear stockpile.
In same context, spokesman of Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ismail Baghaei
renewed, days ago, affirmation that Iranian nuclear program is of peaceful
nature, in position reflecting Tehran's continued clinging to its narrative
regarding aims of its program. And between Iran's affirmations of its nuclear
materials being under monitoring, and Agency's demands to complete inspection
and verification operations, nuclear file remains a main point of dispute
between two sides, amid questions about possibility of restoring monitoring
mechanisms and access to sites that Agency demands to inspect.
Washington expands choking Iran... sanctions target maritime networks in India
and airline company in Turkey
Janoubia / 04 Nov 2026
American Treasury Department expanded scope of sanctions imposed on entities
supporting Iran, targeting a network based in India accused of providing flags
and fake maritime certificates for ships belonging to Iranian shadow fleet,
alongside Turkish company providing ground services to Iranian airlines subject
to sanctions. And this step comes within operation "Economic Pariah," which
Washington aims through to tighten noose on Iranian revenue sources and
sanctions-evasion networks.
Indian network provides fake maritime documents
And American Treasury Department said, in a statement, that sanctions included
Sunil Kumar Sharma and his wife Jaspreet Preeti Shahid, in addition to companies
linked to them operating in ship registration and management. According to
Department, network used websites and maritime registries impersonating official
authorities in several countries, among them Guyana and Aruba and Eswatini, with
aim of providing flags and fake certificates to ships subject to sanctions and
transporting Iranian oil. And Treasury added that some of these ships worked for
account of Iranian army and entities affiliated to it, warning that ships
carrying fake flags may lack necessary maritime insurance, which exposes
countries that pass through its territorial waters to economic and environmental
risks whose cost may reach billions of dollars.
Turkish company in circle of sanctions
And in a separate measure, Office of Foreign Assets Control belonging to
Treasury Department imposed sanctions on Turkish company "Fugo Ground Handling
Services," due to providing services to Iranian airlines listed on American
sanctions lists. And among beneficiary companies, according to Department, "Iran
Air Tour" and "Saha Airlines," in a step that expands scope of American
targeting to include ground services linked to Iranian aviation sector.
Bessent: Sanctions target collaborators with Iran
And American Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent affirmed that Washington will
continue targeting entities that support Iranian government, warning that
sanctions will include collaborators with it by land and sea and air. And new
measures reflect direction of American Administration to pursue support networks
and sanctions evasion outside Iran, whether in sector of oil transport and
maritime shipping or in services provided to Iranian airline companies.
Khamenei warns of wider war in case of resumption of
strikes on Iran... Iranian Supreme Leader considered bet on change of American
behavior "grave mistake"
Riyadh: Al-Arabiya.net / 04 Nov 2026
Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei warned, today Wednesday, that war in
Middle East will be of wider scope in case of its resumption, and that amid
hinting by United States and Israel of a new round of strikes on Iran. And
Khamenei said in a written message published by his website on occasion of
anniversary of storming American Embassy in Tehran: "If such aggressions are
repeated, then scope of it (war) will become much wider." And in his message,
Iranian Supreme Leader affirmed that hostility between United States and Iran
extends for decades, considering that Iranian people has become aware of this
conflict "more clearly than ever before." And Khamenei reviewed what he
described as "stations of American hostility" toward Iran since coup in 1953,
passing through what he said was support for Tehran's opponents and imposition
of economic sanctions, reaching recent military confrontations, accusing
Washington of seeking to subjugate Iran and undermine its political system. And
he considered that United States failed to achieve its aims despite political
and economic and military pressures, and saw that recent developments showed
retreat of American influence, according to his opinion. Also considered that
what he described as "steadfastness of Resistance Front" indicates wider changes
in regional power balances, affirming that any new aggressions on Iran will face
harsher response. And Khamenei stressed that bet on change of American behavior
or reaching understandings with it through presenting concessions is "wrong
bet," considering that only way to guarantee deterrence is represented in
continuing to strengthen Iran's strength and capabilities at various levels. And
called for strengthening national unity and social cohesion, demanding officials
double their efforts to improve living conditions of citizens, also singled out
youth and students with main role in building future of country and continuing
path of scientific and developmental progress. And saw that "wish" of Washington
"is unconditional surrender of Iranian people," considering that "only way to
reach stage of absolute deterrence is to continue Iran's strategy stronger and
stronger."
New York Times reveals reasons for loss of Republican Party
and Trump... Republicans hold President responsible for historic defeat in
midterm elections
Washington: Bandar Al-Doushi / Al-Arabiya / 04 Nov 2026
Sweeping defeat suffered by Republicans in American midterm elections opened a
new chapter of conflict inside party, after losing control of both House of
Representatives and Senate in one of worst electoral results since decades, amid
escalation of accusations to President Donald Trump, and holding him responsible
for decline in party popularity and failure of its candidates in states that
were considered traditional Republican strongholds. And with clarification of
size of losses, discussion inside party did not head to reviewing performance of
candidates only, but extended to President's own policies, starting from tariffs
and rise in cost of living, passing through war with Iran and what it left of
increase in fuel prices, reaching his decisions regarding candidates whom he
supported in decisive electoral races, according to American newspaper " New
York Times." And Republicans said election results reflect direct repercussions
of Trump's decisions during year preceding ballot, considering that President
weakened chances of his party instead of strengthening them, despite electoral
tours he carried out to mobilize Republican voters.
War with Iran and inflation.. most prominent reasons of defeat
War American with Iran emerged as one of most prominent factors that inflicted
damage on Republican candidates, after it led to rise in gasoline and diesel
prices, at a time when voters were facing increasing economic pressures. And
Craig Shirley, who worked as assistant in White House during administration of
former President Ronald Reagan, said war inflicted clear damage on Republican
candidates, adding: "Were it not for war, results would have been very
different." And Shirley added: "There are many who love Trump, but they do not
love this damned war, nor what it did to inflation and gasoline and diesel
prices." Also tariffs imposed by Trump formed an additional factor in
Republicans' retreat, with escalation of concerns regarding rise in cost of
living and impact of trade policies on companies and consumers. And Brinker
Harding, Republican who lost in electoral district in state of Nebraska which
Representative Don Bacon represented for a decade, said: "Gasoline prices are
high, and tariffs were a problem." And in Michigan, Republican candidate for
Senate Mike Rogers followed a critical approach to President's tariff policies,
also called for ending war with Iran, in attempt to contain popular anger from
its economic repercussions. But Rogers lost elections, in indicator of
difficulty of separating Republican candidates from repercussions of
Administration's policies.
Weak candidates and controversial electoral decisions
Accusations were not limited to economy and war, but extended to Trump's choices
regarding candidates whom he supported in decisive races. And Republican
Representative Don Bacon said President's unpopularity was "first reason" behind
party losses, followed by his decisions to support weak candidates in Senate
elections. And Bacon pointed to Ken Paxton, Republican candidate in Texas
surrounded by scandals, and Senator Darlene Graham in South Carolina,
considering that Trump pushed forward candidates unable to achieve victory. And
said: "We lost Senate race in South Carolina, for God's sake! He pushed bad
candidates to forefront." And in Texas, it appeared that Paxton lost by larger
margin after he did not seek to distance himself much from President, while
Republicans incurred losses in other conservative states, despite Trump's
support for their candidates. And Dick Wadhams, Republican advisor in Colorado,
said most candidates who lost important Senate races in conservative states were
attracted or supported by Trump. And added: "This was not a vote supportive of
Democrats, but was a vote hostile to Trump."
Republicans: President led party to collapse
Republican strategist Jason Roe, from state of Michigan, described Trump's
analysis of results as "ridiculous," saying President was "engineer who led
Republicans to collapse." And added that Trump almost challenged Americans to
vote against him, pointing out that President concluded his electoral campaign
with a tour that included everything that could anger voters. And in state of
Ohio, supporters of Republican Senator John Husted attributed his loss to
Democrat Sherrod Brown to President's policies. And Lewis Gio, who is a
translator in courts aged 59, said: "We crossed borders," criticizing
construction projects that Trump implements in Washington, among them
celebration hall in White House. And added: "Why insist on such matters at a
time country needs more important things?" And in Oklahoma City, Republican
mayor David Holt described his party as "morally and intellectually bankrupt,"
considering that Republicans' performance was exceptional failure for President.
And Holt, who worked in George W. Bush administration, said: "I cannot think of
midterm elections linked more directly to one person and to his total failure.
It seems as if a whole country gathered to say: Enough."
Party leaderships defend Trump amid questions about his future
In contrast, Republican leaderships tried to limit repercussions of defeat, as
Senate Majority Leader John Thune issued a statement celebrating what he
described as party achievements during first two years of Trump's second term,
without addressing reasons for loss. And Thune said Republicans will continue
working with President to stop what he described as "worst tendencies of
Democratic extremism." Also House Speaker Mike Johnson defended Trump, saying
Democrats suffer from "Trump Derangement Syndrome," despite his party losing
control of Council. But defeat raised questions about extent of President's
ability to retain his influence inside party during last two years of his term,
especially with Republicans' calls to go beyond Trump phase and reconsider party
strategy.
Trump: Our loss because I was not on ballot
And at conclusion of his responses to defeat, Trump sought to distance
responsibility from himself, considering that his absence from ballots prevented
mobilizing enough number of Republican voters. And Trump said in an interview
with newspaper " New York Times," evening Tuesday, before closing polling
centers in some parts of country: "I was not on ballot, and because of my not
being on it, we could not get enough people to vote." Also President blamed some
candidates whom he supported, saying they were not able to inspire voters, and
that some of them opposed him, which did not please his electoral base. However
Trump's statements did not convince number of Republicans, who saw that
President was present in elections through his policies and decisions, and that
voters used voting against party's candidates to express their anger at his
administration. And John Fleischman, former executive director of Republican
Party in California, said voters could not express their frustration directly
before President, and therefore expressed it through voting against his party.
After Republicans' loss.. Iran expands its threats to
Europe and hints at escalation of confrontation ... Khamenei refuses to bet on
election results and vows wider response
Riyadh: Masoud Al-Fak / Al-Arabiya / 04 Nov 2026
In a speech on occasion of anniversary of storming American Embassy in Tehran,
Iranian Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, refused to rely on change of American
policy after elections, warning that any new aggression will be met with a
confrontation of wider scope. And in conjunction with Republican Party's loss in
Congress elections, Tehran escalates its threats to include American bases in
Europe, while a deputy in Iranian parliament warned of targeting Germany and
Italy if Washington uses its bases in them to launch attack on Iran.
And with escalation of political and military confrontation between Tehran and
Washington, and widening talk about possibility of resumption of war between
them, threats of Iranian political and military officials took a more extensive
turn, to go beyond American bases in Middle East to military facilities in
Europe. And in latest of these threats, a member of National Security and
Foreign Policy Committee in Iranian parliament Ahmad Bakhshaish Ardestani said
in an interview with " Euronews," that Germany and Italy may become within
targets of Iranian missiles if United States uses its military bases in them in
any new attack on Iran. At same time, hanging a threatening banner against
Europe on wall of German Embassy in Tehran provoked reactions, amid escalation
of tension between two sides. And these positions come after Republicans' loss
in American Congress elections, and at a time when Iranian political and media
circles talk about expanding geographical scope of any upcoming confrontation
with United States, based on directives attributed to Mojtaba Khamenei regarding
military response "without geographical restrictions."
Khamenei had affirmed in a statement on occasion of anniversary of storming
American Embassy, that those who bet on changing American policy due to partisan
and electoral transformations or believe that making concessions to Washington
can change its position toward Iran, are "strongly delusional." He also
threatened that any repeated American aggression will be met with confrontation
of much wider scope.
Direct threats to Germany and Italy
Newspaper "Kayhan," which is issued under supervision of representative of
Iranian Supreme Leader, wrote, in reference to previous directives of Mojtaba
Khamenei regarding military response "without geographical restrictions," that
scope of potential targets is no longer limited to American bases in Middle
East, but may extend to "heart of Europe." Ardestani said: "If United States
uses its bases in Europe, including in Italy and Germany, then Iranian missiles
will be launched toward Europe. We did not do that in previous two wars, but
this time we will not let Europe's assistance to United States in attacking Iran
pass without price." And in response to " Euronews" question about possibility
of European countries entering a new phase of war with Iran, Ardestani said
Europe was already engaged in war during previous phase. And he added: "Wasn't
Europe at war with us? United States mobilized its allies and used their bases
in the two wars that lasted 12 days and 40 days against us, but if you mean
entry of aircraft of European countries into Iranian airspace, I do not think
that will happen. Iran has announced that it will target with missiles any base
used by United States, in addition to targeting material and immaterial assets
of countries that help Washington." For his part, Fad-Hussein Maleki, who is a
member of National Security and Foreign Policy Committee in Iranian parliament,
claimed that Tehran will enter any upcoming war according to a new vision and
scenario, he said they will surprise United States and European countries.
Threatening banner on wall of German Embassy
And before marches organized by Iranian authorities on 4 November, under title
"National Day Against Global Arrogance" and commemoration of anniversary of
storming American Embassy in Tehran, a group of regime supporters hung a
threatening banner on wall of German Embassy in capital. And banner, attributed
to students from Tehran University, carried picture of Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary
of Supreme National Security Council of Iran, smiling, and phrase saying:
"Europe will pay price for its support for Israel." And Iranian news agency
"Fars," close to Iranian Revolutionary Guard, republished picture of banner, and
said those who placed it are a group of members of Basij student forces in
Tehran University. And these forces are considered political and ideological arm
supporting regime inside universities, and work to promote revolution discourse
and positions of conservative current.
And "Fars" had recently published a report claiming that Iran directed a warning
to Germany to effect that all barracks and facilities linked to it in region
will become legitimate and defensive targets if Berlin engages openly in
military confrontation against Tehran. That comes in context of escalating
diplomatic tension between Iran and Germany, including summoning German
ambassador in Tehran and exchange of positions regarding regional developments
and Berlin's support for Israel.
Rezaei conditions meeting Iranian demands to reopen Hormuz
For his part, Mohsen Rezaei, whose picture appeared in background of banner,
published a message on platform "X" saying American response to Iran's demands
is insufficient, adding that " United States response to Iran's rights and
demands was not convincing, and they must respond fully and frankly to seven
Iranian conditions and implement them, only then will Strait of Hormuz be
opened." In same context, Iranian Revolutionary Guard issued a statement on
occasion of anniversary of storming American Embassy, stressing necessity of
rapid response to any external attack. And it came in part of statement, in
reference to directives of Mojtaba Khamenei as Supreme Commander of Armed
Forces: "Smart combat readiness, updating bank of targets, and placing material
and immaterial assets of enemy in line of fire, and immediate and effective
response and without geographical restrictions to any level or type of threat,
which are matters that contributed, with national support for armed forces, in
consolidating strategic pillar to confront foreign hostility to Iran and
mercenaries inside, constitute today axis of our missions."
Mojtaba Khamenei refuses to bet on change of American policy
And in his statement on occasion of 4 November, which Iranian authorities
commemorate as "National Day Against Global Arrogance" and anniversary of
storming American Embassy in Tehran in 1979, Mojtaba Khamenei responded to
results of American elections, refusing to bet that partisan and political
transformations in Washington will lead to change of its approach toward Iran.
He said: "If there are still those who hold even a slight hope for changing
behavior of hegemony system or for partisan and political changes inside it, or
believe that making concessions to United States can divert it from its
hostility to Iranian people, then he is strongly delusional." And in a direct
military threat, Khamenei pointed to Iran's control of Strait of Hormuz and
targeting American military bases during what he described as "third imposed
war," considering these operations were not merely a response to American
attacks, but formed beginning of a wider regional confrontation.
Qalibaf: Americans said no to war.. and Trump studies his options
In contrast, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, Speaker of Iranian Parliament, welcomed
results of American elections, and wrote on platform "X" that American people
said "no" to war, affirming that Tehran supports this message. But he added in
threatening tone that if American government ignores general will then it will
realize that "No to Iran is accompanied by a nightmare."
For his part, American President Donald Trump acknowledged that he believes file
of war with Iran was not immune from influence of election results. And in
response to a question about whether he intends to take a more hardline position
toward Iran, he said in an ambiguous phrase that he will study matter, and that
he will take action if he sees that necessary. Trump had told newspaper "
Financial Times" hours before, that he does not have at present an immediate
plan to launch attack on Iran. President American also pointed out that ending
war with Iran depends on his decision alone. In contrast, Revolutionary Guard
had claimed earlier that Iran is the one that determines timing of end of
America's attacks and its conditions.
Simultaneous Israeli escalation in southern Syria:
Incursions in Daraa and Quneitra and blowing up fortifications on slope of
"Mount Hermon"
Janoubia / 04 Nov 2026
Israeli occupation forces continued this morning Wednesday 4 November 2026 its
field aggressions and ground incursions deep into Syrian territories, within
framework of increasing escalatory tension; field reports recorded rise in rate
of Israeli violations of borders to about 12.7 violations daily during month of
October last. And field sources reported incursion of a patrol belonging to
Israeli occupation forces this morning comprising 5 military vehicles in
villages of Yarmouk Basin in western Daraa countryside, where movements included
villages of "Maariya," "Abidin," and "Jumla," reaching "Saisun," before patrol
moved toward village of "Saida al-Golan" in southern Quneitra countryside. And
this incursion came after gunfire targeting agricultural lands surrounding "Al-Jazira"
barracks in western Daraa countryside. And in northern Quneitra countryside, 4
Israeli military vehicles stormed town of "Jabata al-Khashab," where occupation
elements carried out search campaigns for a number of residential houses, and
that after one day of establishing a temporary military checkpoint on road (Ain
al-Bayda - Jabata al-Khashab). And in southern sector of Quneitra, a young man
from sons of farm "Al-Fityan" near village "Kudna" was released last evening
after detention for two days, while operations of kidnapping and incursion
affecting villages of "Al-Asbah" and "Ain Ziwan" were reported without recording
additional arrests. Incursions coincided with blasting operations carried out by
Israeli forces for abandoned military fortifications located between towns of "Darbal"
and "Arna" on slope of Mount Hermon in western Damascus countryside. And these
field developments come after days of speech of Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad
al-Shibani in "Manama Dialogue 2026" conference, in which he affirmed that
Israeli army launched more than a thousand attacks on Syrian territories in less
than two years, renewing his country's demand for necessity of Israel's
commitment to return to lines before 8 December 2024. For his part, Israeli
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues his claim of fall and collapse of
"Disengagement Agreement" signed in 1974 and internationally protected buffer
zone, and that in wake of political changes and fall of Assad regime, taking it
as pretext to consolidate a new field reality along line of occupied Golan and
Syrian borders.

General of Lebanon Joseph Aoun and
General of Israel Gadi Eisenkot.. Will they do it?
Ahmed Ismail / Janoubia / 04 Nov 2026
At first glance, this question may seem hypothetical, and perhaps far from
reality. But pausing a little, and reading the past three years with all
transformations and wars and tragedies they carried, makes it a natural
question, even legitimate, despite difficulty of answering it and what surrounds
it of historical and political considerations. The bloody wars imposed a new
reality on Lebanese ground, its title is wide destruction, and Israeli
occupation of dozens of southern villages, and collapse of equations of
deterrence and balance, reaching retreat of Hezbollah's military and field
capability to confront. And result was that Lebanese state found itself before a
political option that became almost sole: Direct negotiations with Israel,
considering it the available path to restore occupied villages, and secure
return of its people, and open door to reconstruction of what war machine
destroyed in Lebanon.
Knot of negotiations
And despite failure of previous negotiation rounds, and despite limitedness of
framework agreement from which these negotiations launched, question no longer
relates to extent of desire to negotiate, but to extent of ability to transform
it into serious track achieving tangible results. So are there other options
capable of restoring land and rebuilding and consolidating sovereignty of state?
In contrast, Israel continues policy of daily pressure, through its attacks and
destruction of houses and burning and bulldozing what remains of villages
located under occupation. And in contrast also, Hezbollah was not able to impose
a new deterrence equation or cause field change that stops this path, which
reveals size of retreat that hit its military and leadership structure, and
raises serious questions about independence of its decision and its ability to
determine its options away from Iranian calculations.
And we realize that Benjamin Netanyahu tried, since launch of negotiations
track, to reach a meeting with President of Republic General Joseph Aoun, but
latter waited and refrained from this meeting, despite American pressures.
Perhaps reason is that Netanyahu was searching for a political and historical
image more than he was searching for actual results, while what was required
Lebanese-wise was clear: Israeli withdrawal from occupied Lebanese territories,
and guarantee return of displaced to their villages without conditions, and
launching reconstruction workshop, and consolidating authority of state over its
entire territories.
But what if Netanyahu leaves political scene? And what if Israeli elections
produce a new government headed by General Gadi Eisenkot? Could that constitute
a different opportunity to soften atmosphere of Lebanese-Israeli negotiations?
And would Eisenkot, with his military background and deep knowledge of Lebanese
reality, be more realistic and clear in approaching file of borders and peace
than Netanyahu, who continuation of war for him has long been linked to
political and personal calculations, in light of his judicial prosecutions and
corruption cases and security failures chasing him in case of overlooking
confronting Hamas's flood on Gaza envelope?
The question does not relate only to changing a prime minister with another, but
to whether Israel is ready to change its political and military approach, and
move from policy of imposing facts by force to a settlement guaranteeing
Lebanese rights and national sovereignty.
Aoun-Eisenkot agreement?
And here emerge questions of next stage, especially in light of possibilities of
regional escalation and anticipated confrontation with Iran and its allies, and
what it may leave of repercussions on Lebanon and region as whole.
But biggest question remains:
Will general of Lebanon Joseph Aoun do it, and agree with general of Israel Gadi
Eisenkot if he becomes head of its government?
And will our President of Republic accept what he refused with Netanyahu? And
can two generals, with what they possess of military background and experience
in wars, have enough political courage to move from logic of confrontation to
logic of settlement?
What is required is not a meeting for taking pictures, nor a formal agreement
added to archive of stalled agreements, but serious and fruitful negotiations
ending with liberation of land, and Israel's withdrawal from every occupied
Lebanese inch, and return of people to their villages, and reconstruction of
what war destroyed, and restoration of full Lebanese sovereignty, provided that
Lebanese Army alone, without partner, is owner of authority and responsibility
on borders, and guarantor of security and stability.
We may not preempt events, and this meeting may not happen at all, but region is
heading to big transformations, and perhaps coming years will be decisive in
drawing its future. For all wars, no matter how long they last, must reach ends,
and all ends open doors to new beginnings. So will beginning of end in Lebanon
be a meeting between two generals; one carries responsibility of restoring his
homeland, and other owns opportunity to choose between continuation of war and
between making calm in preparation for sustainable peace on both sides of
borders?
The Danger of Entanglement with Iran in War and Settlement
Rafic Khoury / Nidaa Al-Watan / November 5, 2026
There are no surprises in the stumbling of direct negotiations between Lebanon
and Israel under American sponsorship. Nor is there any strangeness in Beirut's
specific insistence upon them. What happened—and practically did not happen—was
written on the wall for all to see from the beginning.
The problem lies not only in the differing calculations of the negotiating
parties, but also in the calculations of the other party that rejects
negotiations and influences them from the outside. It lies not only in the
weakness of the negotiation cards in Lebanon's hands and the bet on borrowing
strength cards that no one pays attention to, but also in Hezbollah's insistence
on retaining its weapons, which it terms a "strength card." In reality, this is
the weakest card in the Lebanese posture because the key to negotiations is
disarming. The question is: What if Lebanon abandons direct negotiations, breaks
away from the "Tripartite Framework" agreement, and ties itself to the
"Islamabad" track as demanded by "the Party," which is linked to the Iranian
Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)?
Every question in Lebanon has two answers or more, as usual.
The State's answer is that this is unacceptable because it amounts to Lebanon
abdicating itself and its role—not only in negotiating to recover its occupied
land lost to the Gaza and Lebanon support wars, but also in building the
national state project and its economy.
Tehran and the Party's answer is that the support war is part of Iran's war, and
therefore it is natural for the ceasefire there to extend to the front in
Lebanon. Any settlement between President Donald Trump and Iranian officials
would add strength to the Party's position, its weapons, and its role, which
remains open to Iran's strategic depth and the regional and global project of
Velayat-e Faqih (Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist). This is not, and never
was, a divine secret. Fighting Israel is part of the mission of these weapons,
but not the most important part of the Iranian project, regardless of how the
war exposed the inability of these weapons to deter the enemy, protect the
population and its environment, and prevent the return of occupation to Lebanon.
Furthermore, the "Islamabad" track sank in the Strait of Hormuz, along with its
"Memorandum of Understanding." Current mediations for a new US-Iranian
understanding revolve around returning to an agreement on foundational steps,
with nothing therein safeguarding even the bare minimum of the nuclear project
while leaving ideological-sectarian factions and IRGC-linked spaces to complete
their roles in Gaza, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen.
The workshop of change in the Middle East is wide open, from the war in Gaza to
the war in Iran. Today, everyone finds themselves in the atmosphere of returning
to war after the congressional midterm elections. The prevailing impression is
that a radical solution to the region's problems, crises, and ambitions of
regional powers under the American umbrella requires something major: either a
wide-scale war or a comprehensive settlement. However, historical experiences
confirm that every comprehensive settlement has required a wide-scale war from
which victorious forces emerge alongside defeated ones, leaving no margin for
ambiguity or false claims of victory in the heart of defeats. The military
achievements accomplished by America to date have not been translatable into
strategic gains. The same applies to Israel. Nor can Iran—even if it withstands
the most powerful military machine in history—win strategically on points while
maintaining the role of its proxies in Arab countries and persisting in striking
Gulf states in retaliation for any American strike against it.
The paradox noted by Robert Kaplan is that "agreements forged out of fear are
stronger than agreements forged out of hope."
Weapons of Palestinian camps expose failure of Lebanese
state
Tarek Abu Zeinab/Nidaa Al-Watan / 05 Nov 2026
It is no longer possible to deal with weapons of Palestinian camps as a
postponed file or a security detail subject to bargaining. The persistence of
areas outside authority of institutions makes sovereignty selective and law
without implementation. And Lebanon cannot tolerate multiplicity of armed
references or management of this entitlement with promises. Exclusivity of
weapons is criterion of seriousness of state and its ability to extend its
authority over its territories. And this file constitutes a test for
government's decision, which launched on 30 October 2026, under sponsorship of
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and his presence, consultation on "National Plan for
governance of Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon." And participated head of
Lebanese-Palestinian Dialogue Committee Ambassador Ramez Dameshkieh, and
Palestinian ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad al-Assad, and Yasser Abbas, member of
Central Committee of "Fatah" movement and commissioner of foreign relations,
alongside Palestinian and Lebanese representatives and " UNRWA" and embassies of
Norway and Switzerland. And draft is based on three axes: Sovereignty and
security and law; Rights and services and human development; And administration
and governance. And it proposes gradual implementation starting with
foundational phase and miniature models reaching full governance. And includes
handover of weapons to army and ending armed manifestations, and establishing a
station for Internal Security Forces in each camp according to community
policing, and extending authority of judiciary and handing over wanted persons,
and addressing rights and services and identity papers, and conducting social
and urban surveys, and establishing an authority to manage camps. But draft is
still under consultation, and has not become a final approved plan or executive
program with binding deadlines. And Palestinian positions did not remain within
limits of declaration of intentions. On 21 May 2025, Palestinian President
Mahmoud Abbas met President Joseph Aoun in Baabda, and a joint statement was
issued affirming exclusivity of weapons in hands of state and strengthening
coordination to ensure stability inside camps and surroundings. And Abbas
stressed in his public positions during his visit that camps are under
sovereignty of state and army, and that weapons outside framework of state
weakens Lebanon and harms Palestinian cause.
And Yasser Abbas announced start of handing over batches of weapons to army
within a gradual and agreed path. And this step puts government before an
entitlement that must not be wasted in consultations, especially since
consultative path will extend six months before raising final formula to it. And
what is required is that deadline not turn into cover for postponement, but into
opportunity to determine implementation schedule and responsibilities and
achievement indicators and accountability. And in same context, Yasser Abbas did
not limit his position to handing over weapons, but described plan as transition
from crisis management and reactions to institutional work, and from overlapping
roles to determining responsibilities and coordination and follow-up mechanisms.
And he affirmed support of State of Palestine for consultations and
participation in developing draft, appreciating affirmation of right of return
and rejection of settlement, and not linking human and civil rights to any other
track, and taking into account specificity of each camp and phased
implementation. And Abbas was clear in separation between political work and
military presence; freedom of Palestinian political work within law and
legitimate institutions does not justify independent military formations or
parallel security powers. And he renewed respect for sovereignty of Lebanon and
unity of its territories and institutions, and support for exclusivity of
weapons and security decision in hands of state, and rejection of using camps in
conflicts. And he stressed that extending authority of state must be accompanied
by protection of population and preservation of their dignity and enhancing
trust in Lebanese institutions.
And governance is not completed by reducing it to security. Yasser Abbas called
for addressing restrictions related to work and ownership and inheritance and
social protection and conditions of those lacking identity papers, and reviewing
relevant legislations to guarantee human and civil rights. He also called for
addressing legal complications related to communication or travel to Palestine,
and distinguishing between legitimate communication with State of Palestine and
its institutions and people and between dealing with Israeli occupation
authorities. And Abbas stressed role of " UNRWA," not as provider of services
only, but as international witness to refugee issue and responsibility of
international community, calling for protecting its mandate and funding and
facilities and neutrality and guaranteeing continuation of its services until
reaching a just solution. So goal is safe camps, and refugees living with
dignity, and official partnership between two states, with adherence to right of
return and rejection of settlement. Lebanon does not need a new declaration, but
a decision that moves plan from consultation to implementation. Practical
Palestinian steps have begun, and government must accompany them with timeline
and specific responsibilities, and complete extending authority of institutions
in parallel with rights and services. As for postponement it consecrates a
reality that contradicts concept of state. Either government proves that
sovereignty is a decision effective over entire territories, or it bears
responsibility of keeping file open. Sovereignty is not measured by what state
declares, but by what it imposes on ground.
A state that does not hear beating of war drums
Marwan Al-Amin/Nidaa Al-Watan / 05 Nov 2026
War drums are beating in region. With end of American midterm elections, it is
likely region will be on date with an American military strike on Iran, with
possibility of Israel's participation in it, and countdown for it will begin
with closing of ballot boxes. In Lebanon question that is repeated on tongues of
everyone is: Will Lebanon be part of this war? There are several scenarios that
determine Lebanon's potential position in this confrontation. First scenario:
That Tehran decides to open Lebanese front, via using card of "Hezbollah" in
confrontation with America and Israel. In this case, decision of "the Party"
will not be subject to calculations of Lebanese interest, nor to estimation of
cost that will result on sons of south and Shiite environment specifically. For
opening front will be governed only by directives and Iranian interest. Tehran's
resort to this option will happen in case it senses war threatens existence of
its regime. Then, it will use all cards it possesses, and military arms it
established and funded in region over decades, most important of which is
"Hezbollah," which was found to be used in a fateful moment like this. Second
scenario: That Iran estimates war will be short and limited, and that it is
capable of containing its repercussions, so it does not find interest in pushing
"Hezbollah" to open Lebanese front. For "the Party," despite heavy losses it
incurred and big retreat in its military capabilities, still retains wide
influence inside Lebanon, and holds essential joints in political and security
and military decision, بما يتيح له إبقاء لبنان ضمن دائرة النفوذ الإيراني.
Therefore, Tehran may see that preserving what remains of influence of "the
Party" and its internal position is more worthwhile than throwing it into a new
war.
Third scenario: Even if Iran decides not to use Lebanese front, question remains
related to Israeli position: Will Israel continue commitment to ceasefire
imposed by American President Donald Trump, within framework of American-Iranian
understanding agreement? Or that collapse of this agreement and return of
military confrontation with Iran will grant Israel opportunity to disavow its
commitments, and open a new war on "Hezbollah," aiming to eliminate what remains
of its military capabilities? In other words, does fate of Lebanese front depend
on Tehran's decision alone, or may Israel find in renewal of war with Iran
opportunity to reopen confrontation on Lebanese arena, regardless of decision of
"Hezbollah" to engage in it? The biggest absentee from this scene remains
Lebanese state which does not want to hear beating of war drums so as not to
consider itself concerned with doing something. Despite escalating risks that
put Lebanon on brink of new war, there does not appear to be any official
approach at level of seriousness of stage, nor what suggests state is working
seriously to avoid dragging country into new war. On contrary, authority
continues to evade approaching file of military منظومة of "Hezbollah" seriously
and responsibly, as if this file is a detail that can be postponed. And latest
manifestations of this evasion was government's refusal to refer Dahr al-Baidar
explosives file to Judicial Council, and pouring its attention on files of waste
and food safety. And on importance of living and service files, but opening them
is not with aim of addressing them, but to be used as "smoke bomb" to cover file
of explosives and weapons of "Hezbollah". Lebanese state stands outside scene.
Watching what is happening and what will happen, as if not concerned with
protecting country.
The Abdul Virus
Samer Zureik / Nidaa Al-Watan / 05 Nov 2026
In view of the fluidity that characterized the follow-up of the American
elections, and what accompanied it of Arab celebrations that swept social media
platforms with the Democrats' victory, and the emergence of a state of
polarization around Abdul, or Abdul Rahman Al-Sayed, the winner of a seat in the
US Senate, especially after his rhetorical duel with Trump, to the point of
considering him "the pride of Arabs," and regardless of Democrats and
Republicans, there are lessons that go beyond stereotypical dependency and
inferiority as well as the widespread geopolitical assessment. Foremost among
them is the growing presence of Muslims and those of Arab roots inside
legislative institutions and centers of influence in American decision-making,
reflecting the ability of democracy to absorb immigrants of various ethnic and
religious identities, and integrate them into its political, social and economic
systems. People who might not have appeared in other countries except in
detention centers, can challenge the President of the Republic and debate him
and then win the elections. Before Abdul, Zahran Mamdani was elected mayor of
New York despite Trump and his political current. How many such opportunities
are available in Lebanon? And the region? How many municipalities were besieged
because of their political identity opposed to authority? Not to mention other
winners of Arab roots in the House of Representatives and state senates. The
implicit in this polarizing case is betting on America's democracy from various
conflicting directions, despite the ideology of stoning it that generations were
imprinted with, until on its altar dreams and perhaps illusions are drawn. But
what if Abdul ran in Lebanon or in another country? Would he be allowed to run
at all? And if his adoption of "the right to abortion" and "gay rights" is an
electoral tactic imposed by American standards, and he does not need it in our
worlds, then he will likely need a visa from a security apparatus, or the
blessing of Saad Hariri as a counterpart to complete his Sunnism according to
standards established by a desertification propaganda based on traits of
slavery. As for Abbas Alawieh who spoke proudly about his southern roots, what
if he were allowed to run on the lists of the "Shiite Duo" for technical reasons
or electoral calculations, what are his chances of breaking through the cordon?
And would he be viewed as a representative of his environment or as one of the "Khawarij"?
And how would these successful people in America face that regionalism
entrenched in our culture, and the difficulty of accepting a person's candidacy
outside his region in a country whose geography is smaller than an American
state? The most exciting point, which is often overlooked, is the electoral
program. Mamdani adopted the slogan "The Moral City," and a program that
addresses issues of the working class in housing and rents and public transport
and health care. And Abdul made providing comprehensive and free health care the
title of his program, and with it he crossed. Here lies the essence of our
crisis. In rigidity and calcification and inability to generate political
dynamics in a democracy that seems captive to deadly internal dictatorships.
Look at the rigidity of the "Sharia Council" among Sunnis and Shiites, and
demonization of rotation of power under banner of sanctity, while another Milli
council awaits and wishes for extension. And in view of the gap that separates
us from established democracies, the Brazilian example becomes closer to our
case. Lula da Silva left office in his second term with high popularity, in a
rare case, then entered prison for about 550 days on background of corruption
cases in his ruling entourage, before returning to competition arena and winning
presidency for two successive terms, based on a clear political-social program,
accompanied by self-development in use of communication techniques, to get
closer to people, and reduce gap with his rival. And perhaps what we lack before
results of this conflict is its existence in first place as a competition built
on programs and ideas. And welcome to dialectic of conflict between left and
right perhaps it will remove impurities that shackle our democracy. For
"Hezbollah" whose media machine has not stopped attacking what it describes as
"isolationist right" is not left, and inclination of Paula Yacoubian to right
and left is not politics. Then the Mamdani phenomenon extending to Abdul becomes
like a virus, but it is the only virus we wish its competitive affliction would
encompass us, because it remains richer and more worthwhile than relying on
religious loyalty, and political clientelism, and reducing people's rights to a
building permit, or a surgical operation, or a medicine, or a seat in a public
school in education of dilapidated structure.
After Trump's defeat: Lebanon facing danger of
marginalization and Israel facing a cold alliance
Amal Shamouni / Nidaa Al-Watan / 05 Nov 2026
A new phase begins in the Middle East after the recent American elections, but
it does not carry clear promises of peace or stability, especially for Lebanon.
The results of the vote showed growing American opposition to war, yet this
shift does not necessarily mean greater interest in Lebanon's security or
strengthening its sovereignty. An American source considered that Lebanon may be
among the most affected by the political transformation in Washington, because
it will be among the least beneficiaries of it. Democrats' control of both
houses of Congress, and growing Republican criticism of war with Iran and of
relationship with Israel, may end up searching for an exit from the broader war,
without addressing causes that keep Lebanon exposed to Israeli operations and to
regional influence struggle. This possibility is the darkest for Beirut, said an
American diplomat, criticizing Lebanese superiority in repeating wasting time
they do not have luxury of enjoying. With changing political calculations in
Washington, Lebanon may return to a secondary position, because American
pressure on Israel will pour on issues of Gaza and West Bank. In parallel,
American sources agree that White House and Congress may try to contain cost of
confrontation with Iran, yet Lebanese file will remain governed by managing
tension, not by sustainable settlement. And source sees that Washington may
pressure Israel to change its policies in Gaza and West Bank, or to prevent a
new confrontation with Iran, but he does not expect similar pressure on Lebanese
front. A former American official told "Nidaa Al-Watan" that Lebanon must
prepare for marginalization after it wasted moments that seemed suitable for
reviewing a positive American policy toward Beirut. For objection to war does
not automatically equal commitment to protect Lebanon. Also retreat of trust in
Israel does not necessarily mean retreat of military cooperation with it. From
here core impasse can be identified. War turned into an electoral burden inside
United States, without Lebanon's suffering turning into an issue equally
influential in shaping policy. And what is required from Beirut is not to be
satisfied with criticizing Israeli military operations, but to translate its
promises into executable arrangements, to obtain withdrawals and clear security
commitments, and support for Lebanese institutions. But if American interest
focuses on reducing direct cost for Washington, Lebanon may be left facing a
conflict less present in American discourse, but not less dangerous on its
ground. And while a former American diplomat considered that influence of
"Hezbollah" declined due to recent conflicts, he stressed quality of Tehran's
relations with its allies, noting that will place limits on betting on a
regional deal that automatically settles Lebanese situation. Lebanon may remain,
as result of that, suspended between Israel's security demands, and calculations
of "the Party," and priorities of a Lebanese government unable to impose
settlement alone.
And these fears come while Washington begins a sharp political review. Vice
President J.D. Vance said "The reason we lost is the war," rejecting
interpretation of Republican defeat by weak turnout of party supporters alone.
Importance of this talk for Lebanon lies in that it may enhance pressure to
reduce American engagement in war, but it does not specify form of political or
military withdrawal from it. The voter who wants to reduce American burdens,
does not necessarily demand long-term diplomatic investment in Lebanon.
Israel facing a more politically costly alliance
As for Israel, message is more direct, as relationship with it enters core of
Republican dispute over American interests and cost of external commitments,
instead of remaining an issue enjoying almost automatic protection inside party.
An American diplomat described future of American-Israeli relationship as may
witness "a kind of rapid retreat," especially if Netanyahu and his policies
continue. Facts show a more complex picture than rupture because military
cooperation may continue while political trust erodes. And every arms deal and
every budget becomes a new test, instead of being extension of relationship
whose path can be predicted. And diplomatic source expects increasing pressures
regarding Gaza and West Bank and settler violence. And these are files that have
existing legislative presence; Congress documented proposals related to
conditions of arms deals and sanctions linked to settlement and threatening
stability in West Bank. There is no doubt that Israeli elections added a new
layer of uncertainty over entire scene, with absence of clear ruling majority
for any of main blocs. This opens difficult possibilities that may reach early
elections. And for Lebanon, continuity in this form is in itself worrying, as
even with change of Israeli prime minister does not necessarily mean change of
security assumptions on northern front of Israel.
Between Trump's authority and Democrats
In contrast, President Donald Trump's response was not fully escalatory, he
expressed confidence in possibility of reaching understandings with Democrats,
but he also reminded of his authority in using veto. American experts point out
that this statement opens possibility of negotiation, and prevents assuming
inevitable confrontation between White House and new majority. The two sides may
find interest in agreements regarding spending and some foreign priorities. From
here transition of majority will not automatically lead to stripping foreign
policy decision from President. But it will not leave Congress without
influential tools also. And most prominent of these tools is spending authority.
Lebanon in a moment of American review
Returning to Lebanon, diplomatic sources indicate that Washington, even in
moment of re-evaluating its relations with region, remains more interested in
controlling pace of confrontation with Iran or containing Israel than placing
Lebanon at top of its priorities. Thus, American anger from war does not turn
into real commitment to reconstruct Lebanon or support its institutions or
protect it from external interventions. And previous reports show difficulty of
turning agreements into actual stability, for Hezbollah's rejection of ceasefire
agreement and its demand for full Israeli withdrawal, and its rejection of
Washington talks from which it was excluded, all examples of problematic
implementation of understandings in presence of armed party capable of
undermining them. From here, elections raised political cost of war, and placed
Lebanon file on margin of major discussions about Middle East. Most likely
scenario is that Lebanon returns to circle of neglect and waiting, in light of
slow international response and hesitation of American policies, while fragility
of its internal and regional situation increases. In conclusion, American voters
expressed rejection of war, but turning this rejection into actual security for
Lebanese requires decisions whose matter has not been settled yet, although
results of American elections will open door to review of Washington's policy in
Middle East.

Fuck all republicans who stayed at home.
Fuck all the “Christians” who stayed home and used morals as an excuse, while
handing power to baby killers, child mutilators, and goat fcking pedo
worshippers… you have no moral high ground.
You’re a FUCKING COWARD.
Seriously, go to hell.

Abdul El-Sayed proudly introduces himself as Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed,
America’s first Muslim senator, and then starts speaking in Arabic. Americans
better brace themselves. The communist and Islamic takeover has officially
begun. They’re going to get exactly what they just asked for.

The messages America sent tonight go far beyond the election results.
Democrats are sending to Washington a Muslim doctor (Abdul El-Sayed), a pastor
(Adam Hamilton), a former logger (Troy Jackson), two Native American women
(Peggy Flanagan and Mary Peltola, whose race has yet to be called), the first
openly gay man elected to the U.S. Senate (Chris Pappas), and a two-time
Paralympic gold medalist who uses a wheelchair (Josh Turek).
In Georgia, the first Black woman has been elected governor (Keisha Lance
Bottoms).
Beyond these historic firsts, Democrats have scored significant Senate victories
in South Carolina, Texas, Michigan, Kansas (for the first time since 1932),
Maine, and Iowa .

Michigan’s future is an Islamic one. They’re patient, steady, and they never
stop.
Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed just introduced himself as America’s first Muslim
senator… then switched to Arabic....The Muslim Brotherhood isn’t hiding; they’re
marching through our country and capturing piece after piece. First the House,
now the Senate. Meanwhile, we can’t even get enough Americans to show up and
vote. While you fools were screaming about Israel, Islam was laughing at you -
capturing town after town, city after city, court after court, state after
state.
Brace yourselves. The communist and Islamic takeover is marching full steam
ahead. Allahu Akbar!

On Lebanese Women’s Day, we commemorate the historic milestone of 1952, when
Lebanese women first gained political rights, and celebrate the courage of every
woman who has entered the world of diplomacy and politics, breaking barriers and
paving the way for future generations of women leaders. Today, I am especially
proud to be the first woman to serve as Lebanon’s Ambassador to the United
States. I am deeply grateful to President Joseph Aoun for placing his trust in
me and giving me the opportunity to be among the few women helping shape efforts
to advance peace and security around the world. Women are not simply victims of
war and conflict. They are peacemakers, leaders, and essential partners in
building a safer, more just, and more peaceful world.

Islamic Iran regime but are not themselves willing to sever ties with Tehran and
join the American campaign against the Islamic Republic.

Tonight's result in the United States is a political earthquake, and it has very
important implications for Israel. Take a few minutes to read this—it's
important.
The Democrats achieved an absolute victory tonight, but really, not just in
slogan. A victory that even the most optimistic polls for them couldn't have
predicted.
They're ending the night with about 250 seats in Congress, the largest majority
in the last twenty years, and with a string of inconceivable victories in the
Senate: Texas, Kansas, South Carolina—states they haven't won in decades.
Trump suffered a historic defeat, and the last two years of his presidency will
be dedicated to relentless investigations of him, his family, his advisors and
staff, by Congress committees under Democratic control. He can no longer appoint
judges, can't advance legislation, and even his power to promote international
agreements is very limited—it's hard to imagine this Congress approving a
massive benefits package for Saudi Arabia just for a deal with Israel. At least
not as long as Netanyahu is prime minister.
One thing needs to be clear, both in light of the Democrats' meteoric
strengthening and the anger and disappointment on the Republican side:
Netanyahu's continued tenure is an immediate danger to our special relations
with the United States.
Netanyahu is toxic in the eyes of the Democrats; they're furious with him over
his humiliating treatment of Obama and Biden, his ingratitude toward American
Jewry, his ceaseless meddling in their domestic politics.
The thing is, after tonight, Netanyahu is becoming toxic in the eyes of the
Republicans too. They're going to blame him for their loss, as the one who
pushed President Trump into a long, expensive, and frustrating round of fighting
against Iran. Commentators close to Vice President Vance are already starting to
tweet this message: We lost because we listened to Netanyahu. This message will
only grow stronger in the coming days.
His continued tenure is a recipe for disaster in the American arena, especially
after his disgraceful attempt to overturn the Israeli election results and
enlist the Shin Bet chief Zini for this dirty mission. It's important to
remember: Israel has no substitute for the United States in the international
arena—simply none. And today in the U.S., the Netanyahu brand is a very bad
brand that causes dangerous damage to Israel.
A note on the coalition negotiations: Netanyahu is promising his partners to go
to new elections and bring 61 seats in them. This is a false promise. Even if he
brings 61 seats in repeat elections (I doubt this can happen), Netanyahu won't
be able to form a government again with Ben-Gvir, unless he wants to bring
paralyzing sanctions on the State of Israel. Smotrich and the Haredi parties
need to understand this too. A Ben-Gvir government 2.0 won't rise, unless they
want the State of Israel to simply commit suicide.
If Israel wants to start rehabilitating its very bad standing in the U.S., it
must part ways with Netanyahu. This won't solve all our problems in the American
arena, not even half of them. But it's a first and necessary step, without which
things are going to deteriorate to very dangerous places.

Now that Abdul has won, I want to be the first Muslim American to be truly
transparent and honest with my non-Muslim fellow citizens. Everything you've
long suspected is true:
- Going forward, I will communicate with you exclusively in Arabic. If you don't
understand, that's on you. As a gesture of goodwill, I will delay implementation
until June 1, 2027. Be fluent by then.
- I will personally wake each and every one of you for dawn prayer. Every
morning.
- If I catch anyone eating pork, I will immediately report you to Iran, Saudi
Arabia, the Grand Muftis of Egypt and Indonesia, the Ottoman Empire, and the
Muslim Brotherhood.
- Regular hijab is for wimps. Starting January 1, 2027, all American women will
be required to wear a full burqa, including face covering. Violators will be
summoned to mandatory compliance hearings and be reprimanded with Sharia-compliant
rap nasheed disses. In my Minnesota neighborhood, these will be held in the
Dairy Queen parking lot. We are currently negotiating discounted Blizzards for
spectators. As an aside, Dairy Queen is being renamed Dairy King and Blizzards
are being renamed Sandstorms.
- Starting next month, the name of the city of Minneapolis will be changed to
Somaliapolis. After some debate, the Shariah Law council has determined that
this is a respectful compromise.
Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Good luck Michigan. More islam is in da house.
Michigan has elected Abdul El-Sayed to the U.S. Senate, and he becomes the first
Muslim ever to serve in it. The AP has called the race. His campaign carried
heavy baggage. He is accused of ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, which he denies.
His critics point to a mosque he reportedly attends, where an imam praised a
Hamas leader as a martyr, to his claim that banning sharia is white supremacy,
to his comparison of sharia with Catholic canon law, to his statement that he
feels religiously obligated to follow sharia-compliant practices, and to his
ties to Nation of Islam figures.

On the federal level in America there are now SEVEN Muslims that will represent
Americans in the US House:
Congressman Andre Carson
Congresswoman Ilhan Omar
Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib
Congresswoman Lateefah Simon
Congresswoman Aisha Wahab
Congressman-elect Adam H Hamawy
Congresswoman-elect Darializa Avila Chevalier
And there is now a US Senator that is a Muslim too, Abdul Mohammed El-Sayed.
Eight Muslims on the federal level. I haven’t even done research on State level.
Before 2018, we had zero. This is how it begins.

As an Iranian woman who watched my country get ruined by Islamists, was bitten
by the morality police, and saw my sisters and brothers die in the streets for
protesting for freedom, I warn you Americans: don’t assume it can’t happen here.
Before 1979, many Iranians thought their relatively modern society was safe from
a full Islamist takeover. They were wrong. After the revolution, Sharia became
law. Women lost fundamental rights overnight. The legal marriage age for girls
dropped to 9–13 (with guardian and court approval). Compulsory hijab was
enforced and everyday freedoms vanished. Even something ordinary like Owning a
pet dog became haram(forbidden), under the regime’s rules, dogs are ritually
impure, and dog-walking is banned in many cities.
Many Iranians spent the rest of their lives under a system they never thought
possible.
I tell you because I lived this, I watched this, I felt this.
Don’t make the same mistake of thinking “it can’t happen here.” The warning
signs are visible, yet too many still refuse to see them.

Sweden's current Minister for Education and Integration was born into a Muslim
family, with her father being a former Hamas member in Palestine and her mother
a Lebanese Shia Muslim.
She told the Swedes she is not Muslim, and the Swedes actually believed her!
After taking office, she forcefully promoted Islamic studies courses, making
them the highest-credit elective in all Swedish schools. She demanded that all
Swedish students must learn about Islam, saying Sweden needs Islam and only
Islam can save Sweden.

We Muslims are celebrating when Muslims win elections in the United States and
other Western countries. And rightly so. The West has given us freedom, accepted
us, allowed us to practise our religion, and even given Muslims the opportunity
to hold important positions in government.
But let me ask a simple question:
Can Christians or other non-Muslims enjoy the same opportunities in countries
governed by Sharia?
In some of these countries, we struggle to tolerate their houses of worship. We
don't even allow them to openly preach their Gospel, let alone imagine giving
them equal opportunities to participate in government.Yet we celebrate religious
freedom when it benefits us in the West.
Religious freedom cannot be something we demand for ourselves but deny others.
If we want the West to respect our rights, we must also be willing to respect
the rights of others.

For 25 years, I have warned this country about immigration — I said it would
eliminate our ability to secure a future for our children and grandchildren.
Tonight you have seen what happens when mass immigration takes hold of a
country. You sit in shock, but why? So many of you gave me shit over the past 10
months for screaming at Trump to put in mandatory everify, and to stop all
immigration thru proclamation. He didn’t. And so in the end he lost. I knew what
I was talking about. Many said there was no way we would lose this election. I
said there was no way we would win.
Trump has done deals with the Islamic nations, sucked up to Mamdani and allowed
immigration to run wild. He secured the border but allowed visas to stay over
10m per year. He did not implement mass deportations, instead of sending home
the tens of millions of illegal workers who are stealing American jobs, he sent
home a small crowd of illegals criminals—that did nothing to solve the problem.
The perfect example is to look at Texas. The state is now completely blue.
In 1970: White population was 89%.
In 2000: 50%.
Now it’s less than 39%.
Mark my word. Trump will give an amnesty to the 50+ million illegals who are
here. Why? This way the Democrats do not hang him out to dry. If he does: Trump
will go down as the worst president in modern history. If I am correct, like I
was tonite…we will never win another election.

Aber Kawas was born in New York to Palestinian Muslim parents. She grew up
hating America and openly supports Hamas (she publicly waved a Hamas headband)
and Islamic jihad, saying that America deserved 9/11 because of ‘Islamophobia.’
She has just won her race for the New York State Senate.
Darializa Avila Chevalier was born in Florida to Dominican parents.
She became so wrapped up in pro-Palestinian activism that she ended up
converting to Islam and is now dating a former al-Qaeda defense lawyer.
She claims that she only got into politics because Palestine is the most
important issue in her life.
She openly hates the U.S., calling it a disgraceful country, and says she uses
the American flag as a napkin. She was part of an organization that calls for
the eradication of America. She also supported the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
She has just been elected to Congress.
The enemy within has won. A very dark day for America.
