لقاء نهضة لبنان/أهمية الفصل السابع والحياد وخطورة أجراء الانتخابات على أساس القانون الحالي مواقع ألكترونية/22 أيلول/2025 بعد اجتماع متابعة لأعمال مؤتمر “لقاء نهضة لبنان” صدر عن “لقاء نهضة لبنان” البيان التالي: بدعوة من “لقاء نهضة لبنان”، اجتمعت فعاليات من “معارضة المعارضة” في اطار المواكبة لأخر التطورات والمرحلة القادمة والخطوات التي سيقدم عليها اللقاء والناشطين معهم. بعدما قدم ملخص عن الوضع السياسي الحالي في لبنان والمنطقة، طرح المشاركون الهواجس المتداولة والتجييش والحشد العالي الوتيرة لشد العصب الطائفي والحزبي من قبل المنظومة فيما يتعلق بمواضيع الساعة، وعن الحلقة المفرغة التي يدور فيها البلد التي هي دوامة يلهون بها الشعب اللبناني بالتضخيم الإعلامي وتزوير الحقائق، بواسطة تحوير الوقائع والتلاعب على المضمون الفعلي للاتفاقيات وذلك في محاولات فاشلة لتمرير وكسب الوقت لمصلحة هذه المنظومة وزعمائها كما ولحزب الله وتسليمه لسلاحه هو امر واقع سوف يصلا ليه عاجلاً أم آجلاً. اتفق المشاركون على ضرورة الإضاءة على خطورة أجراء الانتخابات، وذلك في حال حصلت، على أساس هذا القانون الذي فصل على قياس الأحزاب ووزع حصصها بما يحفظ تزعمها للمشهد السياسي وبالأخص استعادة الثنائي أكثريته وقدرته على التصويت والتعطيل كما يراه مناسبًا، كما ومن خطورة ما يحضر ل لبنان اذا لم يتم الالتزام باتفاقية وقف اطلاق النار ونزع السلاح وحصريته بيد الشرعية في ظلّ تردد وبطئ الدولة في التحرّك، ومن هنا أهمية العمل للوصول إلى الفصل السابع والحياد لان التهديد اليوم هو وجودي على لبنان ومكوناته كافةً. اكد المشاركون على الاستمرار في خطواتهم، وتشكيل لجنة متابعة، والتأكيد على الموقف الموحد في مواجهة المخطط لتدمير ما تبقى من هذا الوطن وإعلاء الصوت لربما يخرج هذا الشعب من ثباته العميق ويواجه جلاديه.
Lebanese Renaissance Gathering: Chapter VII Status, Neutrality, and the Danger of Elections Under the Current Law September 22, 2025 Press Release from the Lebanese Renaissance Gathering Following a review meeting of the Lebanese Renaissance Gathering conference, the group issued the following statement: At the invitation of the Lebanese Renaissance Gathering, leading figures from the Opposition of the Opposition convened to assess recent developments, discuss the coming phase, and outline the steps they and their activists will pursue. After presenting a summary of the current political situation in Lebanon and the wider region, participants expressed grave concern over the ongoing mobilization and heightened incitement orchestrated by the ruling establishment. They warned that the country remains trapped in a vicious cycle—a media-fueled storm of exaggerations, fabrications, and distortions of facts—designed to manipulate the content of agreements. These maneuvers represent desperate attempts to buy time, push through measures that serve the interests of the ruling class and Hezbollah, and normalize the status of Hezbollah’s weapons—a reality Lebanon cannot escape confronting sooner or later. Participants unanimously emphasized the danger of holding elections—if took place at all—under the current law. This law was deliberately engineered to protect the dominance of political parties and, in particular, to enable the Shiite “duo” (the two main Shiite blocs) to restore their parliamentary majority, giving them once again the ability to impose or obstruct decisions at will. They also warned of the grave consequences awaiting Lebanon if the ceasefire and disarmament agreements are not respected and if weapons remain outside the authority of the legitimate state, especially given the state’s ongoing hesitation and paralysis. For this reason, the Gathering stressed the urgent necessity of pursuing Chapter VII international status and a policy of neutrality, as today’s threat is existential for Lebanon and all its components. Finally, participants reaffirmed their determination to continue their struggle, form a follow-up committee, and maintain a unified stance against the schemes aimed at dismantling what remains of the Lebanese state. They pledged to raise their voices until the Lebanese people awaken from their deep slumber and rise to confront their oppressors. (Free translation by Elias Bejjani)
