مَنْ يَسْتَحِي بِي وَبِكلامِي، في هذَا الجِيلِ الزَّانِي الخَاطِئ، يَسْتَحِي بِهِ ٱبْنُ الإِنْسَانِ عِنْدَمَا يَأْتِي في مَجْدِ أَبْيهِ مَعَ مَلائِكَتِهِ القِدِّيسِين/Those who are ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of them the Son of Man will also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels

مَنْ يَسْتَحِي بِي وَبِكلامِي، في هذَا الجِيلِ الزَّانِي الخَاطِئ، يَسْتَحِي بِهِ ٱبْنُ الإِنْسَانِ عِنْدَمَا يَأْتِي في مَجْدِ أَبْيهِ مَعَ مَلائِكَتِهِ القِدِّيسِين»
إنجيل القدّيس مرقس08/من31حتى38/”بَدَأَ يَسُوعُ يُعَلِّمُ التَّلامِيذَ أَنَّهُ يَجِبُ عَلَى ٱبْنِ الإِنْسَانِ أَنْ يَتَأَلَّمَ كَثِيرًا، ويَرْذُلَهُ الشُّيُوخُ والأَحْبَارُ والكَتَبَة، ويُقْتَل، وبَعْدَ ثلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ يَقُوم. وكانَ يَقُولُ هذَا الكلامَ عَلانِيَة. فأَخَذَهُ بُطْرُسُ عَلى حِدَة، وبَدَأَ يَنْتَهِرُهُ. فأَشَاحَ يَسُوعُ بِوَجْهِهِ، وٱلتَفَتَ إِلى تلامِيذِهِ، وٱنْتَهَرَ بُطْرُسَ وقَالَ لَهُ: «إِذهَبْ ورَائِي، يَا شَيْطَان! لأَنَّكَ لا تُفَكِّرُ تَفْكِيرَ ٱللهِ بَلْ تَفْكِيرَ البَشَر!». ثُمَّ دعَا الجَمْعَ وتَلامِيذَهُ، وقَالَ لَهُم: «مَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَتْبَعَنِي فَلْيَكْفُرْ بِنَفْسِهِ ويَحْمِلْ صَلِيبَهُ وَيَتْبَعْنِي، لأَنَّ مَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُخَلِّصَ نَفْسَهُ يَفْقِدُها، ومَنْ فَقَدَ نَفْسَهُ مِنْ أَجْلِي وَمِنْ أَجْلِ الإِنْجِيلِ يُخَلِّصُها. فمَاذَا يَنْفَعُ الإِنْسَانَ لَو رَبِحَ العَالَمَ كُلَّهُ وخَسِرَ نَفْسَهُ؟ ومَاذَا يُعْطِي الإِنْسَانُ بَدَلاً عَنْ نَفْسِهِ؟ مَنْ يَسْتَحِي بِي وَبِكلامِي، في هذَا الجِيلِ الزَّانِي الخَاطِئ، يَسْتَحِي بِهِ ٱبْنُ الإِنْسَانِ عِنْدَمَا يَأْتِي في مَجْدِ أَبْيهِ مَعَ مَلائِكَتِهِ القِدِّيسِين».”

Those who are ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of them the Son of Man will also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels
Mark 08/31-38: “Then he began to teach them that the Son of Man must undergo great suffering, and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. He said all this quite openly. And Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. But turning and looking at his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said, ‘Get behind me, Satan! For you are setting your mind not on divine things but on human things. ’He called the crowd with his disciples, and said to them, ‘If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake, and for the sake of the gospel, will save it. For what will it profit them to gain the whole world and forfeit their life? Indeed, what can they give in return for their life? Those who are ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of them the Son of Man will also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”

أَيُّهَا الأَحِبَّاء، أُبْذُلُوا جَهْدَكُم، وأَنْتُم تَنْتَظِرُونَ تِلْكَ الأُمُور، في أَنْ تَكُونُوا عِنْدَ اللهِ في سَلامٍ بِلا وصْمَةٍ ولا عَيْب
رسالة القدّيس بطرس الثانية03/من10حتى18/”يا إخوَتي، إِنَّ يَومَ الرَّبِّ فيَأْتِي كاللِّصّ، وفِيهِ السَّمَاوَاتُ تَزُولُ بِدَوِيٍّ قَاصِف، وعَنَاصِرُ الكَوْنِ تَحْتَرِقُ وتَنْحَلّ، والأَرْضُ ومَصْنُوعَاتُهَا تَحْتَرِق. فإِنْ كَانَتْ تِلْكَ الأَشْيَاءُ جَمِيعُهَا ستَنْحَلُّ هكَذَا، فَأَيُّ سِيرَةٍ مُقَدَّسَةٍ إِذًا، وأَيُّ تَقْوَى يَجِبُ عَلَيْكُم أَنْ تَسْلُكُوا فِيهَا! إِنَّكُم تَنْتَظِرُونَ وتَسْتَعْجِلُونَ مَجِيءَ يَومِ الله، الَّذي فِيهِ ستَلْتَهِبُ السَّمَاوَاتُ وتَنْحَلّ، وتَحْتَرِقُ العَنَاصِرُ وتَذُوب. ولكِنَّنَا نَنْتَظِرُ، وَفْقَ وَعْدِهِ، سَمَاوَاتٍ جَدِيدَة، وأَرْضًا جَدِيدَةً يَسْكُنُ البِرُّ فيهَا. لِذلِك، أَيُّهَا الأَحِبَّاء، أُبْذُلُوا جَهْدَكُم، وأَنْتُم تَنْتَظِرُونَ تِلْكَ الأُمُور، في أَنْ تَكُونُوا عِنْدَ اللهِ في سَلامٍ بِلا وصْمَةٍ ولا عَيْب. وٱحْسَبُوا طُولَ أَنَاةِ رَبِّنَا خَلاصًا، كمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيْكُم أَيْضًا أَخُونَا الحَبيبُ بُولُس، بِحَسَبِ الحِكْمَةِ الَّتي وُهِبَتْ لَهُ، كمَا هِيَ الحَالُ في جَمِيعِ الرَّسائِل، الَّتي يتَكَلَّمُ فيهَا عَنْ تِلْكَ الأُمُور. وفِيهَا أُمُورٌ يَصْعُبُ فَهْمُهَا، ويُحَرِّفُهَا الجُهَّالُ وضُعَفَاءُ النُّفُوس، كَمَا يُحَرِّفُونَ الكُتُبَ البَاقِيَةَ لِهَلاكِهِم. أَمَّا أَنْتُم، أَيُّهَا الأَحِبَّاء، وقَدْ صِرْتُم عَارِفِينَ بِذلِكَ، فتَنَبَّهُوا لِئَلاَّ تَنْجَرُّوا بِضَلالِ الفَاسِقِين، فَتَسْقُطُوا مِنْ ثَبَاتِكُم. وٱنْمُوا في نِعْمَةِ ومَعْرِفَةِ رَبِّنَا ومُخَلِّصِنَا يَسُوعَ المَسِيح، لَهُ المَجْدُ الآنَ وإِلى يَوْمِ الأَبَد. آمين

Therefore, beloved, while you are waiting for these things, strive to be found by him at peace, without spot or blemish; and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation
Second Letter of Peter 03/10-18: “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and everything that is done on it will be disclosed. Since all these things are to be dissolved in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in leading lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set ablaze and dissolved, and the elements will melt with fire? But, in accordance with his promise, we wait for new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness is at home. Therefore, beloved, while you are waiting for these things, strive to be found by him at peace, without spot or blemish; and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation. So also our beloved brother Paul wrote to you according to the wisdom given to him, speaking of this as he does in all his letters. There are some things in them hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other scriptures. You therefore, beloved, since you are forewarned, beware that you are not carried away with the error of the lawless and lose your own stability.
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.”
