نعم…حزب الله فجّر القطاع المصرفي

أيّاً كانت الجهة التي زرعت العبوة التي استهدفت “بنك لبنان والمهجر” في فردان، نستطيع أن نقول أن حزب الله هو الذي… أشعل فتيل هذه العبوة.
فممارسات حزب الله، في لبنان كما في المهجر، هي التي أدّت أصلاً إلى صدور قانون العقوبات الأميركي الشهير.
لم يترك حزب الله دولة عربية أو أجنبية إلاّ وتدخّل في شؤونها، قولاً أو فعلاً، وحاول زعزعة أمنها واستقرارها، فهل كان يتوقع مكافأة على أفعاله؟
نتيجة هذه الممارسات كانت طبعاً عقوبات، والمشكلة أن هذه العقوبات لا تصيب حزب الله فحسب، بل قد تصيب في طريقها بيئة حزب الله، أي البيئة الشيعية، لأن كل شيعيّ، في نظر الكثير من الدول، ومنها الولايات المتحدة، بات يا للأسف، موضع شبهة، بفعل السمعة السيئة التي وصم بها حزب الله كل الشيعة.
والمشكلة الأكبر أن حزب الله لم يتعظّ، بل هو يمعن في التسبب بمزيد من الضرر لجميع اللبنانيين، وخصوصاً للشيعة الذين يدّعي الحرص عليهم.
فاستهداف القطاع المصرفي اللبناني بعبوات التخوين والاتهام، يزعزع الثقة بهذا القطاع الحيوي، ويساهم في تقويض أركانه، وهو ما ينعكس حتماً وبشكل مباشر على الوضع المعيشي لجميع اللبنانيين، وخصوصاً لذوي الدخل المحدود الذين أودعوا المصارف مدّخراتهم وجنى أعمارهم، ومنهم الشيعة، والذين تسهّل لهم المصارف حياتهم، وتشغل آلاف العائلات منهم.
تفخيخ حزب الله القطاع المصرفي بالكلام الهدّام، له مفعول مالي ونقدي واقتصادي واجتماعي لا يقل تدميراً عن مفعول أية عبوة، بل يسبب أضراراً أكبر بكثير من تحطيم الواجهات الزجاجية للبنك المستهدف في فردان.
وهجوم حزب الله على مصرف لبنان والقطاع المصرفي هيّأ أصلاً المناخ للإعتداءات العنفية، بالتحريض السياسي الذي وضع هذا القطاع في موقع العدو، مع أن لا مصرف لبنان ولا المصارف اللبنانية هي الجهة التي أصدرت العقوبات، بل هي لا تفعل سوى تنفيذ هذه العقوبات مضطرة، تحت طائلة عقوبات قاسية تطالها هي، وتجعل القطاع برمته خارج النظام المالي الدولي.
لا نستبق التحقيق إذا قلنا إن حزب الله عو الذي فجّر القطاع المصرفي، لأن الواقع هو أن حزب الله استبق التفجير…بالفجور.
Yes, Hezbollah Attacked the Banking Sector Ahmad El-Assaad/ June 15, 2016
Regardless of who planted the explosive device that targeted the Bank of Lebanon and Overseas, “BLOM Bank” in Verdun, we can safely say that Hezbollah is the one that… initiated the time fuse. Hezbollah’s practices, in Lebanon as overseas, were the reason Hezbollah International Financing Prevention Act was issued by the US in the first place.
Hezbollah meddled in the affairs of all Arab and foreign States, both verbally and in action, trying to unsettle its security and stability. Was it expecting a pat on the back for that?
The sanctions came as a result of Hezbollah’s actions. But the problem is that these sanctions don’t only affect Hezbollah, but they also affect its environment, i.e. the Shiite community, because, in the eyes of many countries, including the United States of America, every Shiite has unfortunately become a suspect, due to the bad reputation that Hezbollah has brought upon all the Shiites. The bigger problem, is that Hezbollah hasn’t learned its lesson. It keeps on bringing more and more harm to the Lebanese people as a whole, and specifically to the Shiite community, which it pretends to be protecting.
Dropping accusations of treason on the Lebanese banking sector, undermines the trust in this vital sector, and shakes its pillars. This directly reflects on the living conditions of the Lebanese people, the Shiites included, especially of those who live on a limited income and who have put the fruit of their lives’ work in banks, whose lives are made easier by banks, and the thousands of households that live from their work in banks.
Hezbollah’s booby-trapping of the Lebanese Central Bank and the banking sector with a destructive rhetoric, has financial, monetary, economic and social repercussions comparable to those of any given IED. Nay, it is even worse than shattering the glass facades of the targeted bank in Verdun.
Hezbollah’s attack of the Lebanese Central Bank and the banking sector has paved the way for violent attacks, through political instigation, which turned the banking sector into the enemy; even though it wasn’t the Central Bank nor the banking sector that issued any of the sanctions. They are merely implementing these sanctions as they should, under the penalty of severe sanctions that would affect them, and throw the entire banking system out of the international monetary system.
We wouldn’t be anticipating the investigation if we said that Hezbollah is the one that attacked the banking system, because their immorality predicted their actions.
