Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.’Then the Pharisees said to him, ‘You are testifying on your own behalf; your testimony is not valid.’Jesus answered, ‘Even if I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is valid because I know where I have come from and where I am going, but you do not know where I come from or where I am going. You judge by human standards; I judge no one. Yet even if I do judge, my judgement is valid; for it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father who sent me. In your law it is written that the testimony of two witnesses is valid. I testify on my own behalf, and the Father who sent me testifies on my behalf.’Then they said to him, ‘Where is your Father?’ Jesus answered, ‘You know neither me nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father also.’He spoke these words while he was teaching in the treasury of the temple, but no one arrested him, because his hour had not yet come.

الرسالة إلى العبرانيّين11/من07حتى10/“يا إخوَتِي، بِالإِيْمانِ أُوحِيَ إِلى نُوحٍ بِأُمُورٍ لَمْ تَكُنْ بَعْدُ مَرْئِيَّة، فَٱتَّقَى الله، وبَنَى لِخَلاصِ بَيْتِهِ سَفِينَة، دَانَ بِهَا العَالَم، وبالإِيْمَانِ صَارَ وَارِثًا لِلبِرّ. بِالإِيْمَانِ أَطَاعَ إِبْرَاهِيم، لَمَّا دَعَاهُ الله، لِيَخْرُجَ إِلى المَكَانِ الَّذي كانَ مُزْمِعًا أَنْ يَرِثَهُ. فَخَرَجَ وهُوَ لا يَدرِي إِلى أَينَ يَذْهَب. بِالإِيْمَانِ نَزَلَ في أَرْضِ المِيعَادِ كَمَا في أَرْضٍ غَرِيبَة، وأَقَامَ في خِيَامٍ مَعَ إِسْحقَ ويَعقُوبَ الوارِثَينِ معَهُ لِلوَعْدِ عَيْنِهِ، لأَنَّهُ كانَ يَنْتَظِرُ المَدِينَةَ ذاتَ الأَسَاسَاتِ الثَّابِتَة، الَّتي صَانِعُهَا ومُبْدِعُهَا هُوَ الله.”

Letter to the Hebrews 11/07-10:”By faith Noah, warned by God about events as yet unseen, respected the warning and built an ark to save his household; by this he condemned the world and became an heir to the righteousness that is in accordance with faith.By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to set out for a place that he was to receive as an inheritance; and he set out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he stayed for a time in the land he had been promised, as in a foreign land, living in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. For he looked forward to the city that has foundations, whose architect and builder is God.
