Certainly a state within the state

Of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s TV interview, about a week ago, what caught my attention the most was him answering the first question and denying the fact that Hezbollah was “a state within the state,” explaining that it is rather a Lebanese party that has an impact on regional events “due to the its alliances, relationships and friendships, as well as to its ability to be present in the fields.”
In fact, by what Sayyed Hassan meant to acquit his party, we sense a confirmation of the abovementioned accusation.
Sayyed Hassan acknowledged that fact, even when his real intention was to rule it out.
When a Lebanese party says it has certain influence on regional events that, in itself, is evidence that the said party is playing a role beyond its political powers, thus acting as a state.
Sayyed Hassan, a political party must only work to influence the decisions that draft local politics and foreign policies, and that is done through the elections and via the party’s political program, not via its tools of armed intimidation. A political party shall not have foreign policies of its own. It shall not participate in wars or battles outside the framework of the state and the Lebanese decision.
Sayyed Hassan, a Lebanese party must not have alliances beyond the internal political and electoral ones. In fact, what you call alliances is nothing but sheer subordination to the Iranian regime and that must not be within the jurisdiction of parties.
Sayyed Hassan, what did you mean by “the party’s ability to be present in the field?” Did you mean its ability to be involved in the war in Syria, and to intervene in the affairs of Bahrain, Yemen, Iraq and perhaps other countries? Did you mean your ability to violate the sovereignty of countries of the world and spread security cells here and there?
If you deem that “ultimate ability”, let me remind you then that you are present in these fields over the blood of our young Lebanese Shiites, and at the expense of the Lebanese people’s stability, particularly the Shiites who earn a living from countries that tamper with their security and interfere with their privacy.
Yes, Sayyed Hassan, your party is in fact “a state within the state” [Lebanon]. Your party does prevent a de facto state in Lebanon. In this field in particular, it sure has a major influence!\

من كل الحديث التلفزيوني للسيد حسن نصرالله قبل نحو أسبوع، لفت انتباهي خصوصاً جوابه على السؤال الأول، وفيه نفى عن حزب الله توصيف “دولة داخل دولة”، واعتبر أنه “حزب لبناني له تأثير في الأحداث الإقليمية”، مشيراً إلى أن هذا التأثير يعود إلى “تحالفاته وعلاقاته وصداقاته وقدرته على الحضور في بعض المساحات أو الميادين أو المجالات”. في الواقع، ما أراد به السيد حسن تبرئة لحزبه هو تأكيد للتهمة، وللتوصيف المذكور. بلسانه، أقرّ السيّد حسن لو كان يقصد النفي. أن يقول حزب لبناني إن له تأثيراً في الأحداث الإقليمية فهذا بعينه دليل إلى كونه يتجاوز الدور المفترض أن يكون لحزب سياسي، بل يتصرف كدولة. الحزب السياسي يا سيد حسن، يجب أن يعمل فقط للتأثير، بواسطة الإنتخابات من خلال برنامجه السياسي طبعاً، وليس بالترهيب المسلّح، على القرار الذي يرسم السياسات الداخلية والخارجية للدولة، وليس له أن يفتح سياسة خارجية على حسابه، ويشارك في الحروب أو غيرها، من خارج إطار الدولة والقرار اللبناني. ليس للحزب يا سيد حسن أن يقيم تحالفات، إلا التحالفات السياسية والإنتخابية الداخلية. أما ما تسميه تحالفات، وهو في الواقع تبعية كاملة للنظام الإيراني، فهو لا يفترض أن يقع ضمن اختصاص الأحزاب. وماذا تقصد يا سيد حسن بقدرة حزبك على الحضور في بعض المساحات؟ هل تقصد قدرتك على أن تخوض حروباً في سوريا، وتقحم نفسك قي شؤون البحرين واليمن والعراق وربما غيرها؟ هل تقصد قدرتك على انتهاك سيادة دول العالم وأمنها بخلايا هنا أو هناك؟ إذا كنت تظن أن هذه قدرة، فنذكّرك بأنك حاضر في هذا المساحات بدماء شبابنا اللبنانيين الشيعة، وعلى حساب استقرار اللبنانيين، والشيعة منهم تحديداً، الذين يكسبون لقمة عيشهم من الدول التي تعبث بأمنها وتتدخل في خصوصياتها. بلى يا سيد حسن. حزبك دولة داخل لبنان، وحزبك يمنع قيام دولة فعلية في لبنان. وفي هذا المجال، له حضور أكيد!
