“الصديق” الذي بالإنتقادات…يضيق!

فعلها “شبّيحة” رئيس “الحركة” مجدداً مع ناشطي الحراك! لم يكتفوا بالهجوم الأول على المتظاهرين، بل كرروا الترهيب الهمجي لمن تجرأ وانتقد رئيسهم وأدرجه ضمن قائمة الفاسدين في البلد. فعلوا ذلك لأن الإفلات من العقاب والمحاسبة هو القاعدة في لبنان، ولأن ممارساتهم لم تُثر في المرة الأولى أي ضجة فعلية وحقيقية، بل مرّت مرور الكرام، وكأن شيئاً لم يكن. فهم “زعران البرلمان”، بعد الهجوم الأول، أن أحداً لن يمسّهم بشعرة، وأن الملعب واسع لهم ليقوموا بما يحلو لهم من قمع. وأدرك رئيسهم أن لا شيء يمنعه من إرسال “شبّيحته”، وأن أي صوت لن يرتفع استنكاراً لذلك، وأن في استطاعته براحة تامة وسهولة مطلقة، أن يمارس الدور الذي يجيده، بل المتأصل فيه: شخصية المستبد الآتي من القرون الوسطى، والمستعد للقيام بأي شيء لكي يهابه الناس، ويخافوا من عواقب انتقاده ومعارضته. قد يكون طبيعياً أن يتغاضى أفرقاء “8 آذار” عما حصل، وألا يستنكره أيّ منهم. فوفق منطقهم، الفاعل حليف، ولا يجوز إغضابه من بيت أهله. طبعاً هذا موقف غير جائز أخلاقياً، ولكن الأخلاق في السياسة اللبنانية باتت من الزمن الغابر، وخصوصاً لدى فريق 8 آذار. ولكنّ المذهل والعجيب والمؤسف أن لا يكون لفريق 14 آذار ايضاً أيّ ردّ فعل. لم يقتصر الأمر على أن أيّا من الوزارات التي يتولاها فريق 14 آذار (كوزارتي العدل والداخلية وغيرهما …) لم تتخذ أي إجراء مناسب بعد جولة البلطجة الأولى ولا حتى بعد الجولة الثانية التي تعرض فيها المتظاهرون، بل الأسوأ أن أي بيان يدين الإعتداءات، لم يصدر، في المرّتين، عن قوى 14 آذار، ولا سمعنا أي تصريح من قياداتها يشجب ما حصل. وإذا كان الحوار في داخل مجلس النواب “حوار طرشان”، فالجميع تعاملوا مع ما حصل في الشارع على طريقة البُكم أو…”الخرسان”. لا أمل حقاً في أن تصدر مثل هذه المواقف عن فريق 14 آذار، لأن قياداته لا تنفكّ تصف حامل المطرقة النيابية بأنه “صديق”، بل حتى “صديق عزيز جدا”. لا يجوز لأيّ كان أن يعتبر من يتصرف بهذا الشكل صديقاً له، ولا يجدر تحديداً بقيادات 14 آذار التي تدعي بأنها تريد بناء دولة القانون والمؤسسات، الاستمرار في صداقة مع اي طرف كان يناقض باعماله مبدأ ممارسات رجل الدولة. إن عدم الإدلاء باي تصريح لإدانة هذه الاعتداءات والإستمرار في التباهي بالصداقة مع صاحب هذه الممارسات، هو ليس فقط تواطؤاً مع منطق البلطجة والترهيب والقمع، بل انه برهان إضافي أيضاً على ان الحسابات الضيقة هي الأهم لدى قيادات قوى 14 آذار.

“Thugs” supporting the leader of the Movement did it again with activists!
They did not settle for the first attack against demonstrators, but repeated their brutal intimidation to those who dared criticize their chief and include him to the list of corrupt politicians in the country.
They did so because escaping impunity and accountability is the norm in Lebanon and because their earlier practices did not cause an actual fuss the first time but had rather gone unnoticed, as if nothing had happened.
Following the first attack, “the thugs of the Parliament” thought that no one would hold them accountable for their actions, and that the streets were open for them to do as they please. Their leader also realized that nothing could prevent him from sending his thugs to the streets, and that no one would raise the voice in condemnation. He thought he could be absolutely at ease in playing the role he excels at: the Middle Ages man who is ready to do anything for people to feel intimidated by him and by the mere thought of criticizing him or objecting to his demeanors.
It may be normal for the March 8 forces to disregard what happened. For them, this behavior is the work of an ally, and one must not upset his entourage. Of course, this position is morally impermissible, but morality in Lebanese politics has become a value of the remotest of times, especially among the March 8 parties.
Yet what is stranger and even more unfortunate is the fact that the March 14 camp also made no reaction to what happened.
Not only that none of the ministries assumed by March14-affiliated ministers (i.e. Justice, Interior and others) failed to take appropriate action after the first and second rounds of bullying against demonstrators, but the worst part is that no statement condemning the attacks has been issued, neither the first, nor the second time. None of the leaders of the March 14 camp voiced a word of denouncement over what happened.
If dialogue at the House of Representatives was the “dialogue of the deaf,” then everyone has dealt with what happened in the street as tongue-tied as could be.
There is no hope that any of the March 14 leaders would utter condemnation, because they describe the holder of the Parliament’s Hammer as a “friend”, a “very dear friend” even.
No one should be friends with a person capable of such behavior. March 14 forces, which claim that they want to build a state of law and institutions, must not go on with a friendship with a person who works against the principle of Statesmanship.
Failure to make any statement to condemn these attacks and continuing to brag about the friendship with the actor of such practices is sheer complicity with the logic of bullying, intimidation and repression. It is also a proof that narrow calculations are the priority of the leaders of the March 14 forces.
