فيما لبنان غارق في أزماتٍ وجودية لا تُحصى ولا تُعد، ونازحوه أكثر من أهله، وحالته الاجتماعية والمعيشية والمالية تكاد تقارب مجاعة ١٩١٥-١٩١٨ التي حصدت نصف سكان الجبل، وحزب الله الأيراني مزمعٌ على تدميره من خلال إقحامه في حربٍ طاحنة لا دخل له فيها…
في خضم هذه الأجواء المرعبة والكالحة السواد، يتسابق “زعماء” لبنان على إعلان تضامنهم مع “القضيةالفلسطينية” والتنديد بالحرب الاسرائيلية الدائرة على غزة، الأمر الذي يشبه رجلاً غبيًا ترك بيته يحترق وذهب لإخماد الحريق في بيت جاره، علماً أن هذا الجار هو من أشعل النار في بيته.
لذلك، وفي غمرة هذا البغاء السياسي المتمادي، وبناءً على خبرتنا المتواضعة في حقل السياسة اللبنانية، تأكّد لنا أن لبنان بلدٌ يتيم، حكامُه وأعداؤه متضامنون في التآمر عليه، وأصدقاؤه تخلّوا عنه قرفاً من فساد سياسييه … فقرّرنا نحن في حزب حراس الارز أن نتبنى هذا اليتيم، وأن نكون له الأب والأم، وأن نستمر في الدفاع عن كيانه وشعبه وحقيقته الخالدة حتى النهاية، مع الوعد بأننا لن نغفر لكل من أساء إليه، أكان هذا المسيء من الداخل أو من الخارج، ولن نسامح من قتل أهلنا في الدامور والعيشية وشكا وبيت ملّات وغيرها وغيرها حيث ذُبحوا كالنعاج على يد المنظمات الفلسطينية وحلفائها، ولن ننسى دماء شهدائنا الأبرار الذين ماتوا دفاعاً عن فرادة هذا الوطن العظيم.
أخيرًا، نذكر المتشدّقين بالقضية الفلسطينية من ساسة لبنان وبخاصةٍ “المسيحيين” منهم، بالحقيقة الخامسة من حقائق حراس الأرز الصادرة بتاريخ ١٩٧٥/٩/٢٩ التي تقول: عندما يكون لبنان في خطر، أيما خطر، لا يعود اللبناني يعرف إلا لبنان.

Etienne Saqr – Abu Arz: Lebanon “the orphaned country”
“In the midst of Lebanon’s countless existential crises, with more displaced people than residents, and its social, economic, and financial situation approaching the famine of 1915-1918, which claimed half of the mountain’s population, the Iranian Hezbollah intends to destroy it by involving it in a devastating war in which it has no stake.
In the midst of these terrifying and gloomy circumstances, Lebanon’s ‘leaders’ rush to declare their solidarity with the ‘Palestinian cause’ and denounce the Israeli war raging in Gaza. This is akin to a foolish man leaving his own house on fire to put out a fire in his neighbor’s house, knowing that this neighbor is the one who set his own house on fire.
Therefore, amid this ongoing political prostitution, based on our humble experience in the field of Lebanese politics, we are convinced that Lebanon is an orphaned country. Its rulers and enemies are in collusion against it, and its friends have abandoned it due to the disgust of its political corruption. Thus, we in the ‘Guardians of the Cedar’ party have decided to adopt this orphan, to be its father and mother, and to continue defending its entity, its people, and its eternal truth until the end, with the promise that we will not forgive anyone who has wronged it, whether from within or outside, and we will not forgive those who killed our people in Damour, al-aychia, Sakah, Beit Mellat, and elsewhere, where they were slaughtered like sheep at the hands of Palestinian organizations and their allies. We will not forget the blood of our righteous martyrs who died defending the uniqueness of this great nation.
Finally, we remind those who hypocritically support the Palestinian cause, especially among Lebanon’s ‘Christians,’ of the fifth truth from the ‘Guardians of the Cedar’ statement issued on 29 September 1975, which says: ‘When Lebanon is in danger, no Lebanese will know anything except Lebanon.’
