تهديد حزب الله للصحافي محمد بركات ولعائلته أمر مستنكر وعلى القضاء وضع حد قانوني له

باسمي وباسم كل لبناني مغترب يقدّس حرية الرأي، ويؤمن بقيام الدولة واسترداد سلطتها وسيادتها، وتنفيذ القرارات الدولية كافة، والالتزام بالدستور والقوانين المرعية بما يتعلق بالحريات، أستنكر بأشد العبارات حملة الإرهاب والتهديد الممنهجة التي يتعرض لها الصحافي محمد بركات وأفراد عائلته من قبل إعلاميي حزب الله ومسؤوليه ومكينته الإعلامية وأبواقه وصنوجه المأجورين.
إنّ ما يجري بحق بركات وأفراد من عائلته، ليس إلا محاولة خسيسة لتكميم الأفواه الحرة عبر التخوين والتحريض على الاغتيال المعنوي والجسدي، في خرق فاضح للدستور اللبناني ولشرعة حقوق الإنسان.
إنّ محمد بركات هو صحافي حر وسيادي، يشهد للحق، ويعارض علناً احتلال حزب الله للبنان، ويطالب سلمياً ودستورياً بإنهاء حالته العسكرية والمخابراتية وتنفيذ القرارات الدولية ذات الصلة. ولهذا فإن استهدافه بهذه الطريقة المشينة يفضح حجم الأزمة الأخلاقية والسياسية التي يعيشها حزب الله أمام الرأي العام اللبناني عموماً، وأمام الأحرار والسياديين من أبناء بيئته تحديداً، التي يخطفها ويأخذها رهينة ويربط مصيرها بسلاحه الإيراني غير الشرعي.
نلفت نظر المعنيين إلى أنّ حرية الرأي والتعبير مصانة دستورياً، ويحق لكل إعلامي ومواطن أن يمارسها ما دام ملتزماً بالقوانين، ومحمد بركات لم يخرج عن هذه الضوابط قيد أنملة. وبالتالي، فإن أي محاولة للنيل منه أو من أي فرد من أفراد عائلته تمثل اعتداءً صارخاً على حرية الصحافة وعلى الحقوق الأساسية للبنانيين كافة.
إنّ حزب الله وأجهزته ومكينته الإعلامية وأبواقه يتحمّلون كامل المسؤولية عن أي تهديد يتعرض له بركات، وعن أي أذى قد يلحق به أو بعائلته، والمطلوب من الأجهزة الأمنية والقضاء اللبناني التحرك الفوري وفتح تحقيق شفاف لتحديد المسؤولين عن استهدافه، وملاحقة كل من حرّض أو زوّر أو ساهم في ترويج بيانات كاذبة تستهدف دمه وحياته.
إنّ المسّ بحياة محمد بركات أو أي إعلامي لبناني هو مسّ مباشر بالحرية وبالكرامة الإنسانية. هذا وتبقى أصوات الحق والحرية عصية على الترهيب، ولن تُرهبها بيانات مزوّرة ولا حملات تخوين، كما أن الصحافة اللبنانية الحرة في الوطن الأم وبلاد الاغتراب كانت وستبقى خط الدفاع الأول عن لبنان وسيادته، ولن يتمكن حزب الله ولا غيره من إسكاتها.
إنّ التضامن الكامل مع محمد بركات، ومع كل إعلامي حر يتعرض للتهديد، هو واجب وطني وأخلاقي وقانوني، كما أن فضح هذه الممارسات في المحافل الدولية هو مسؤولية كبرى، دفاعاً عن حرية الكلمة وكرامة الصحافة اللبنانية، وصوناً لحق اللبنانيين في التعبير الحر والسيادة الكاملة.

Hezbollah’s Threats Against Journalist Mohammad Barakat and His Family Are Condemned – The Judiciary Must Act

In my name, and in the name of every Lebanese expatriate who cherishes freedom of expression, believes in the rise of the state, the restoration of its authority and sovereignty, the implementation of all international resolutions, and full adherence to the constitution and laws related to freedoms, I strongly condemn the organized campaign of terrorism and threats targeting journalist Mohammad Barakat and members of his family by Hezbollah’s media outlets, its officials, its propaganda machine, and its hired mouthpieces.
What is being waged against Barakat is nothing but a vile attempt to silence free voices through defamation, intimidation, and incitement to both moral and physical assassination—an outrageous violation of the Lebanese constitution and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Mohammad Barakat is a free and sovereign-minded journalist, a man who testifies to the truth, openly opposes Hezbollah’s occupation of Lebanon, and calls for mere peaceful and constitutional ending of its military and intelligence grip, and for the full implementation of relevant international resolutions.
Targeting him in such a disgraceful manner exposes the depth of Hezbollah’s moral and political bankruptcy before the Lebanese public at large, and before the free and sovereign voices within its own community in particular, which it has taken hostage and tied to its illegitimate Iranian weapons.
It must be stressed that freedom of opinion and expression is guaranteed by the Lebanese constitution, and every journalist and citizen has the right to practice it so long as they remain within the bounds of the law. Mohammad Barakat has not deviated from these bounds in the slightest. Therefore, any attempt to harm him or any member of his family constitutes a direct assault on press freedom and on the fundamental rights of all Lebanese people.
Hezbollah, its apparatus, its propaganda outlets, and its hired agents bear full responsibility for any threat against Barakat, and for any harm that may befall him or his family. It is imperative that the Lebanese judiciary and security agencies move immediately to open a transparent investigation, identify those responsible for this campaign, and prosecute anyone who incited, fabricated, or circulated false statements targeting his life.
An attack on the life of Mohammad Barakat—or any Lebanese journalist—is a direct assault on freedom and on human dignity. Yet voices of truth and liberty will not be silenced by forged statements or campaigns of intimidation. Free Lebanese journalism, both at home and across the diaspora, has always been—and will remain—the first line of defense for Lebanon’s sovereignty. Hezbollah, or anyone else, will not succeed in silencing it.
Standing in full solidarity with Mohammad Barakat, and with every journalist who faces threats, is a national, moral, and legal duty. Exposing these practices before the international community is likewise essential, in defense of freedom of expression, the dignity of the Lebanese press, and the right of all Lebanese to free speech and full sovereignty.
محمد بركات يردّ: بيان لفّقه حزب الله باسم آل بركات… وعائلتي هي الدّولة

نشرت ماكينة حزب الله بيانًا منتحلًا اسم عائلتي في رب ثلاثين، لإيهام الناس بأنّني غريب عن بيئتي ولمحاولة سلبي شرعية الجذور.
أطمئنهم أنّني لا أستمدّ شرعيتي من ختم مختار، ولا من ورقة ممهورة بخطّ الحزب. جذوري في البلدة وجنوب لبنان أعمق من بيانات ملفّقة، واسمي لا يُمحى بمحضر مزوّر.
آل بركات عائلة عريقة في الجنوب، كان لها تاريخ مشرّف في مواجهة الإقطاع قديمًا، وبيتنا تحديداً حيث تعرّض جدّي لمحاولات اغتيال عديدة… وعائلتنا الصغيرة تصدّت للاحتلال الإسرائيلي الذي دمّر بيتنا مراراً وتكراراً…
واليوم نقف، كما وقفنا دومًا، إلى جانب الدولة والشرعية والحرية. وهذا شرف أعتزّ بالانتماء إليه.
الغريب أنّ معظم أبناء عائلة بركات لم يسمع بهذا البيان أصلًا. والبلدية نفسها، وفيها أعضاء من حركة أمل، لم توقّع ولم يوقّعوا عليه.
ثم أين صورة الاجتماع؟ وأين التواقيع؟
الأكيد أنّ معظم عائلات بركات في رب ثلاثين رفضت البيان واستنكرته، وتعلم أنّه وُضع في سياق حملة تخوين يقودها حزب الله ضد كل صوت سيادي حرّ يرفض تحويل قرانا إلى وقود لحروب إيران.
إن كان حزب الله يظن أنّ تبرؤ بعض حزبييه منّي يبرّئه من مسؤوليته عن جرّ الجنوب والشيعة ولبنان إلى الخراب، فهو واهم.
يبقى أنّ الهويّة لا يكتبها بيان مزوّر، بل الناس الذين يعرفونني ويعرفونني حقّاً.
وختاماً فإنّ آل بركات، بمعظمهم، كانوا وسيظلّون مع الحريّة. وأعتزّ بانتمائي إلى عائلتي الصغيرة آل بركات، لكن تبقى عائلتي الكبيرة هي الدولة والوطن.
وكل لبناني يقف إلى جانب الدولة بمواجهة الخارجين على القانون الذين يهدّدون أصحاب الرأي بالقتل… هو أخي وشقيقي.
