الذكرى السنوية لمجزرة العيشية واغتيال داني شمعون وعائلته… أحبّوا لبنان حتى الشهادة فبذلوا أنفسهم على مذبحه قرابين طاهرة الياس بجاني/21 تشرين الأول/ 2025
إن الوحشية الممنهجة التي تستهدف الأحرار والسياديين في وطن الأرز من قادة ورجال دين وأهل علم، لا تزال مستمرة منذ السبعينات بأساليب قمعية وإرهابية مختلفة. لا شيء تغيّر للأفضل منذ مجزرة بلدة العيشية واغتيال الشهيد داني شمعون وعائلته، لأن البلد لا يزال محتلاً، وحكامه وسياسيوه وأحزابه في غالبيتهم العظمى كانوا ولا يزالون طرواديين وتابعين للمحتل، ينفذون فرماناته ضاربين عرض الحائط بمصالح الوطن ومواطنيه.
في البداية جاءنا الاحتلال الفلسطيني، ومن بعده الاحتلال السوري، فسرطان حزب الله وأسياده الملالي الكفرة. واليوم، ونحن نحيي ذكرى الشهيد داني شمعون وعائلته وومجزرة بلدة العيشية، لا بدّ لنا أن ندرك بوعي وطني وإيماني أن حزب الله دمّر لبنان، وهجّر أهله، وفكّك مؤسساته، وورّطه رغماً عن إرادة غالبية اللبنانيين في حرب مدمّرة مع إسرائيل خدمةً للمصالح الإيرانية. ورغم كل الخسائر والدمار، يرفض حزب الله الاعتراف بالهزيمة وتسليم سلاحه للدولة، والالتزام باتفاقية وقف إطلاق النار وبالقرارات الدولية وبالدستور. إن التاريخ يعلّمنا أن الأوطان التي لا يسقيها شعبها تضحيات وقرابين بسخاء ودون حساب، تنهار مذابحها، وتتشتت شعوبها، وتُهمَّش هويتها، ويُقتلع تاريخها، وتُنتهك كرامتها.
لبنان القداسة، الذي أنعم الله عليه بشباب لا يهابون الموت ولا يبخلون بالشهادة في سبيله من أمثال داني شمعون وعائلته، باقٍ ولن تقوى عليه قوى الشر. فالشهادة تولد من فعل إيمانٍ وفعل محبة: إيمانٍ بوطنٍ وقضية، ومحبةٍ مجبولةٍ بالعطاء ترقى بنبلها إلى حد تقديم الذات من أجل من نحب.
الشهداء هم النبراس الذي ينير لنا الطريق نحو الحرية، وحافزٌ لمتابعة رسالة القداسة والرقي. واليوم، ونحن نستذكر مجزرة بلدة العيشية واغتيال داني شمعون وعائلته، نؤكد أن إيماننا بالله وبلبنان وبحقنا في حياةٍ حرةٍ وكريمة، يتطلّب منا تحمّل الألم والصعاب، لأن المجتمعات لا تُبنى إلا بالحب والرجاء والتضحيات حتى الاستشهاد.
لقد انقضت سنين طويلة على مجزرة العيشية واغتيال الشهيد داني شمعون وأفراد أسرته، إلا أن الجرائم النكراء تلك لا تزال ماثلة في ذاكرة ووجدان الأحرار والسياديين من أهلنا. جرائم بشعة اقترفها المحتل السوري ومرتزقته المحليون من الكفرة والأبالسة الذين ارتضوا دور الأدوات والمرتهنين.
مرتزقة من أهلنا، للأسف، قبلوا بخنوع أدوار الطرواديين والإسخريوطيين، فباعوا دماء الشهداء، وهم السرطان الأخلاقي والقيمي والوطني الذي يفتك بوطننا وشعبنا. هؤلاء أنفسهم من يتحكم اليوم بقرار لبنان ومصيره، ويجرّونه، بدافع الحقد والكراهية والعقد الدفينة، إلى الهاوية والدمار. القيادات وأصحاب شركات الأحزاب المسخ الذين يناصرون المحتل الإيراني، المتمثل بذراعه المحلية الإرهابية حزب الله، قفزوا فوق دماء الشهداء والتحقوا بالخانعين طمعاً بالسلطة والنفوذ، فداكشوا السيادة بالكراسي وتعاموا عن كل القرارات الدولية الخاصة بلبنان. إن جريمة مجزرة العيشية واغتيال داني شمعون وعائلته لا تزال تزرع في القلوب غصّةً، وفي العيون دموعاً حسرةً على أبطالٍ شرفاء افتدوا بأرواحهم وطن الأرز وناسه.
علينا أن لا ننسى، ومهما كانت الصعاب والتضحيات، أن لبنان بلدٌ مقدس، حدوده مدوّنة في الكتاب المقدس، وأرضه وقفٌ لله، أي ملكه، وهو مذكورٌ أكثر من سبعٍ وسبعين مرة في فصول العهد القديم من الإنجيل:
“البار كالنخلة يزهو، وكأرز لبنان ينمو” (مزمور 92:12).
“تسير الجبال والسلام في أرضه، وصوته كصوت لبنان” (هوشع 14:6).
وفي الإسلام، شهادة تكريمٍ وإكبارٍ للبنان، فقد جاء في الحديث الشريف أن النبي محمد قال: “ثلاثة جبال من جبال الجنة”. قيل: “يا رسول الله، فما الأجبال؟” قال: “جبل أحد، يُحبّنا ونُحبّه، والطور من جبال الجنة، ولبنان من جبال الجنة”. وقد جاء أيضاً: “لو ذكرت لنا أسماء الجبال السبعة التي تحمل العرش يوم القيامة، لكان الجبل اللبناني بينها”. وقال كعب الأحبار: “جبل لبنان أحد الجبال الثمانية التي تحمل العرش يوم القيامة”، وأمسك عن ذكر السبعة الأخرى. في الخلاصة، الحرية نعمةٌ إلهية وهبنا الله إياها لنكون أحراراً في القول والتصرّف والفكر والمعتقد. فيا أبانا السماوي، أنعم علينا بعطايا الثبات في الموقف، والعناد في الشهادة للحق. إن الشهيد داني شمعون، وشهداء بلدة العيشية، وكل شهداء وطن الأرز المقدس، هم الخميرة الإيمانية التي تُخمّر باستمرار عجين الوطن وتزرع الحب والعطاء والرجاء.

The systematic brutality targeting Lebanon’s free and sovereign men and women — leaders, clergy, and intellectuals — has continued since the 1970s through various oppressive and terrorist means. Nothing has changed for the better since the Aaichiye, massacre and the assassination of martyr Dany Chamoun and his family. Lebanon remains occupied, and its rulers, politicians, and party leaders — the vast majority of them — are Trojan collaborators executing the occupier’s commands while trampling the nation’s interests.
First came the Palestinian occupation, followed by the Syrian one, and then the cancer of Hezbollah and its godless masters, the mullahs of Iran. Today, as we commemorate the Aaichiye massacre and the martyrdom of Dany Chamoun and his family, we must recognize, with national and spiritual awareness, that Hezbollah has destroyed Lebanon, displaced its people, dismantled its institutions, and dragged it — against the will of the majority — into a devastating war with Israel to serve Iran’s interests.
Despite all the destruction and loss, Hezbollah refuses to acknowledge defeat, surrender its weapons to the state, and abide by the ceasefire, the constitution, and international resolutions. History teaches us that nations not nourished by the generous sacrifices of their people collapse, their identity fades, and their dignity and heritage are erased.
Holy Lebanon — blessed with youth who fear neither death nor martyrdom for its sake, like Dany Chamoun and his family — will endure, for evil cannot overcome it. Martyrdom is born of faith and love: faith in a homeland and a cause, and love so pure and giving that it ascends to the level of offering one’s life for those we love.
The martyrs are the beacon that lights our path to freedom and the incentive to continue Lebanon’s sacred mission of dignity and spiritual greatness. As we remember the Aaichiye massacre and the assassination of Dany Chamoun and his family, we affirm that our faith in God, in Lebanon, and in our right to live freely and with dignity requires us to endure pain and hardship, for nations are built only on love, hope, and sacrifice — even unto martyrdom.
Many years have passed since those crimes, yet the horrors of the Aaichiye massacre and the assassination of Dany Chamoun and his family remain vivid in the hearts and minds of Lebanon’s free and sovereign people. These were heinous crimes committed by the Syrian occupier and his local mercenaries — godless agents and devils who accepted the role of tools and traitors.
Tragically, some of our own people submitted to the role of Trojans and Judases, betraying the blood of martyrs. They are the moral, national, and ethical cancer devouring our country. These very same figures still control Lebanon’s fate today, dragging it — through hatred, envy, and bitterness — toward ruin and destruction.
The political class and political party mafias who side with the Iranian occupier, embodied by its local terrorist armed proxy, Hezbollah, have betrayed the martyrs’ blood in exchange for power and privilege. They traded sovereignty for seats and turned a blind eye to all international resolutions concerning Lebanon.
The Aaichiye massacre and the assassination of Dany Chamoun and his family still fill our hearts with sorrow and our eyes with tears for those noble heroes who sacrificed their lives for Lebanon and its people.
We must never forget that Lebanon is a sacred land, its boundaries written in the Holy Scriptures. It is God’s own domain, mentioned more than seventy-seven times in the Old Testament:
“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.” (Psalm 92:12)
“His fragrance shall be like Lebanon.” (Hosea 14:6)
In Islam, Lebanon is held in reverence. The Prophet Muhammad said: “Three mountains are among the mountains of Paradise.” They asked: “O Messenger of God, which mountains?” He said: “Mount Uhud — it loves us and we love it — Mount Sinai, and Mount Lebanon.” It is also said that among the seven mountains bearing the divine throne on Judgment Day, Lebanon will be one of them.

In conclusion, freedom is a divine gift granted to humanity so that we may be free in thought, word, and belief. So, our Heavenly Father, grant us steadfastness in truth and courage in bearing witness to it.
Martyr Dany Chamoun, the martyrs of Aaichiye, and all the martyrs of Lebanon’s sacred land are the leaven of faith that continuously gives life to our nation, planting within it love, generosity, and hope.
