The ceasefire in Gaza did not end the war — it ended an entire political era.
For twenty years, militias have claimed they could single-handedly shape the future of the Middle East.
Hamas is not the only loser.
If you notice, all of Iran’s arenas are collapsing in the same way.
Hezbollah accepted the ceasefire without achieving any of its goals — its military structure has been destroyed, its leadership eliminated, and Lebanon, which was not occupied, has now become occupied.
The Houthis will face even greater difficulty justifying their attacks after Hamas itself surrendered — including to the fact that Israel remains in Gaza.
Iran, for its part, faced the very test that its so-called “Axis of Resistance” that was created to avoid: a direct confrontation with Israel and the United States.
In just twelve days, it became clear that Iran is far weaker than it claims.
These are not tactical defeats — this is the end of the entire “resistance project.”
The Iranian project did not merely lose militarily; it has expired politically and ideologically after failing to offer any credible alternative to Western or Gulf models.
The clearest ruins visible today in devastated Gaza are the ruins of the “Axis of Resistance” and its outdated answers.
Resistance is not the essence of identity.
Theological extremism built around jihad and victory cannot build the future.
An eternal struggle is not a source of dignity.
The Gaza agreement may not end the conflict — but what is certain is that it marks the end of armed struggle and the end of militias as major political players in the region.
