بعد الجرائم والسرقات صار الوقت نعلّي الصوت الخوري طوني بو عسّاف/02 شباط/2025
– بدنا نسأل كيف عم نربي ولادنا؟ على العنف؟ على العين بالعين والسنّ بالسنّ؟ على اوعا ياكلك راسك؟ على دعوسو وما تعتل همّ؟
– مدارسنا اليوم على شو عم تربّي؟ على التنافس مين بيطلع الاول؟ على مين بياخد علامات أحسن؟ على مهم يكونو اهلو راضيين؟ على اوعا تحاسبو واوعا تقسى عليه لأنو بتجرحلو شخصيتو؟ على مناهج كلا حشو ؟
– اعلامنا ووسائل التواصل الاجتماعي على شو عم بيربو؟ على القيم الإيجابية؟ على الثأر وكلمات التافهة والبرامج الفارغة الا من طق الحنك؟ على الأخبار يلي بتبث العنف والكره ورفض الآخر؟
– الدولة وين ؟ وين السهر على امن المواطن بالطرقات؟ وين الرقابة على إدمان المخدرات والكحول والعصابات يلي عم بتاجرو بشبابنا وصبايانا ؟
– للأسف الإنسان اليوم صار رخيص، صار ردات أفعال مبنية عا غريزة حيوانية وصار القتل مباح والتعاطي مباح والجريمة مباحة…
صار الوطن رزق سايب والمواطن ضحية خراب على كل المستويات…
يلي عم نحصدو اليوم هوي نتيجة يلي زرعناه أفراد وجماعات….
بيكفي ندفع الثمن…. الثمن غالي… حياة ولادنا بخطر…
صار الوقت نفكر بالحل….

How are we raising our children?
Are we teaching them violence?
Are we instilling in them the mindset of “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth”?
Are we raising them to always be on guard, fearing for their survival?
Are we encouraging them to step on others without remorse?
Are we even questioning what our schools are teaching?
Is education reduced to mere competition—who comes first, who gets the highest grades, who pleases their parents the most?
Are we raising children to evade accountability, shielding them from criticism out of fear of damaging their fragile egos?
Is our curriculum nothing more than empty memorization?
What about our media and social platforms?
Are they promoting positive values, or are they feeding a culture of vengeance, mindless chatter, and shallow entertainment?
Are they spreading news that fuels violence, hatred, and rejection of others?
And where is the state?
Where is its vigilance over citizens’ safety on the streets?
Where is its oversight on drug and alcohol addiction, on the gangs preying on our youth?
Sadly, human life has become cheap. People act on primal instincts, and crime, substance abuse, and murder have been normalized. The nation has been abandoned, and its citizens have become victims of destruction on every level.
What we are reaping today is the direct result of what we have sown—individually and collectively.
Enough is enough! The price we are paying is too high. Our children’s lives are at risk.
It’s time to seek real solutions.
