أَنَا هُوَ القِيَامَةُ والحَيَاة. مَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِي، وإِنْ مَاتَ، فَسَيَحْيَا. وكُلُّ مَنْ يَحْيَا ويُؤْمِنُ بِي فَلَنْ يَمُوتَ إِلى الأَبَد
إنجيل القدّيس يوحنّا11/من17حتى27/:”لَمَّا وَصَلَ يَسُوعُ وجَدَ أَنَّ لَعَازَرَ قَدْ دُفِنَ مُنْذُ أَرْبَعَةِ أَيَّام. وكَانَتْ بَيْتَ عَنْيَا قَرِيبَةً نَحْوَ مِيلَينِ مِنْ أُورَشَلِيم. وكَانَ كَثِيرٌ مِنَ اليَهُودِ قَدْ جَاؤُوا إِلى مَرْتَا ومَرْيَمَ لِيُعَزُّوهُمَا بِأَخِيهِمَا. فَلَّمَا سَمِعَتْ مَرْتَا أَنَّ يَسُوعَ آتٍ، خَرَجَتْ لِمُلاقَاتِهِ. أَمَّا مَرْيَمُ فَبَقِيَتْ جَالِسَةً في البَيْت. فَقَالَتْ مَرْتَا لِيَسُوع: «يَا رَبّ، لَوْ كُنْتَ هُنَا، لَمَا مَاتَ أَخِي. ولكِنِّي أَعْلَمُ الآنَ أَيْضًا أَنَّ كُلَّ مَا تَسْأَلُ الله، يُعْطِيكَ إِيَّاهُ الله!». قَالَ لَهَا يَسُوع: «سَيَقُومُ أَخُوكِ!». قَالَتْ لَهُ مَرْتَا: «أَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ سَيَقُومُ في القِيَامَة، في اليَوْمِ الأَخير».قَالَ لَهَا يَسُوع: «أَنَا هُوَ القِيَامَةُ والحَيَاة. مَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِي، وإِنْ مَاتَ، فَسَيَحْيَا.وكُلُّ مَنْ يَحْيَا ويُؤْمِنُ بِي فَلَنْ يَمُوتَ إِلى الأَبَد. أَتُؤْمِنينَ بِهذَا؟».قَالَتْ لَهُ: «نَعَم، يَا رَبّ، أَنَا أُؤْمِنُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ المَسِيحُ ٱبْنُ ٱلله، الآتِي إِلى العَالَم».”

يَسْلُكُونَ كأَعْدَاءٍ لِصَلِيبِ المَسِيح، أُولئِكَ الَّذِينَ عَاقِبَتُهُمُ الهَلاك، أُولئِكَ الَّذينَ إِلهُهُم بَطْنُهُم، ومَجْدُهُم في عَارِهِم، وفي أُمُورِ الأَرْضِ هُمُّهُم
رسالة القدّيس بولس إلى أهل فيلبّي03/من13حتى24/:”يا إخوَتِي، أَنَا لا أَظُنُّ أَنِّي أَدْرَكْتُ الكَمَال، ولكِنْ يَهُمُّنِي أَمْرٌ وَاحِد، وهُوَ أَنْ أَنْسَى ما ورَائِي، وأَمْتَدَّ إِلى ما أَمَامِي. فأَسْعَى إِلى الهَدَفِ لأَفُوزَ بالجَائِزَةِ العُلْيَا الَّتي يَدْعُونَا اللهُ إِلَيْهَا في المَسِيحِ يَسُوع. فَلْنَكُنْ إِذًا جَمِيعُنَا، نَحْنُ الكامِلِين، على هذَا الرَّأْي، وإِنْ كانَ لَكُم رَأْيٌ آخَر، فَٱللهُ سيُظْهِرُ لَكُم ذلِكَ أَيْضًا. ومعَ ذلِكَ عَلَيْنَا أَنْ نُواصِلَ مِنْ حَيْثُ بَلَغْنَا. إِقْتَدُوا بِي، أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَة، وٱنْظُرُوا إِلى الَّذِينَ يَسْلُكُونَ على مِثَالِنَا. فَكَثِيرٌ مِنْ أُولئِكَ الَّذِينَ كُنْتُ أُكَلِّمُكُم عَنْهُم مِرَارًا، وأُكَلِّمُكُم عَنْهُمُ الآنَ باكِيًا، يَسْلُكُونَ كأَعْدَاءٍ لِصَلِيبِ المَسِيح، أُولئِكَ الَّذِينَ عَاقِبَتُهُمُ الهَلاك، أُولئِكَ الَّذينَ إِلهُهُم بَطْنُهُم، ومَجْدُهُم في عَارِهِم، وفي أُمُورِ الأَرْضِ هُمُّهُم. أَمَّا نَحْنُ فمَدِينَتُنَا في السَّمَاوَات، ومِنْهَا نَنْتَظِرُ الرَّبَّ يَسُوعَ المَسِيحَ مُخَلِّصًا. وهوَ سَيُغَيِّرُ جَسَدَ هَوَانِنَا، فيَجْعَلُهُ على صُورَةِ جَسَدِ مَجْدِهِ، وَفْقًا لِعَمَلِ قُدْرَتِهِ، الَّتي بِهَا يُخْضِعُ لِنَفْسِهِ كُلَّ شَيء.”

I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 11/17-27/:”When Jesus arrived, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days. Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, some two miles away, and many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary to console them about their brother. When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him, while Mary stayed at home. Martha said to Jesus, ‘Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. But even now I know that God will give you whatever you ask of him.’ Jesus said to her, ‘Your brother will rise again.’Martha said to him, ‘I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.’Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?’ She said to him, ‘Yes, Lord, I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, the one coming into the world.’”

Their end is destruction; their god is the belly; and their glory is in their shame; their minds are set on earthly things
Letter to the Philippians 03/13-21/:”Beloved, I do not consider that I have made it my own; but this one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on towards the goal for the prize of the heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus. Let those of us then who are mature be of the same mind; and if you think differently about anything, this too God will reveal to you. Only let us hold fast to what we have attained. Brothers and sisters, join in imitating me, and observe those who live according to the example you have in us. For many live as enemies of the cross of Christ; I have often told you of them, and now I tell you even with tears. Their end is destruction; their god is the belly; and their glory is in their shame; their minds are set on earthly things. But our citizenship is in heaven, and it is from there that we are expecting a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. He will transform the body of our humiliation so that it may be conformed to the body of his glory, by the power that also enables him to make all things subject to himself.”
