رسالة القدّيس بولس الأولى إلى أهل قورنتس12/من28حتى31/13/من10حتى07/”يا إِخْوَتِي، لَقَدْ وَضَعَ اللهُ في الكَنِيسَةِ الرُّسُلَ أَوَّلاً، والأَنْبِيَاءَ ثَانِيًا، والمُعَلِّمِينَ ثَالِثًا، ثُمَّ الأَعْمَالَ القَدِيرَة، ثُمَّ مَوَاهِبَ الشِّفَاء، وَإِعَانَةَ الآخَرِين، وحُسْنَ التَّدْبِير، وأَنْوَاعَ الأَلْسُن. أَلَعَلَّ الجَمِيعَ رُسُل؟ أَلَعَلَّ الجَمِيعَ أَنْبِيَاء؟ أَلَعَلَّ الجَمِيعَ مُعَلِّمُون؟ أَلَعَلَّ الجَمِيعَ صَانِعُو أَعْمَالٍ قَدِيرَة؟ أَلَعَلَّ لِلجَمِيعِ موَاهِبَ الشِّفَاء؟ أَلَعَلَّ الجَمِيعَ يَتَكَلَّمُونَ بِالأَلْسُن؟ أَلَعَلَّ الجَمِيعَ يُتَرْجِمُونَ الأَلْسُن؟ إِطْمَحُوا إِلَى المَواهِبِ العُظْمَى. وأَنَا أُرِيكُم طَرِيقًا أَفْضَل. لَوْ كُنْتُ أَنْطِقُ بِأَلْسِنَةِ النَّاسِ وَالمَلائِكَة، ولَمْ تَكُنْ فِيَّ المَحَبَّة، فإِنَّمَا أَنَا نُحَاسٌ يَطِنّ، أَوْ صَنْجٌ يَرِنّ. ولَوْ كَانَتْ لِيَ النُّبُوءَة، وَكُنْتُ أَعْلَمُ جَمِيعَ الأَسْرَارِ وَالعِلْمَ كُلَّهُ، ولَو كَانَ لِيَ الإِيْمَانُ كُلُّهُ حَتَّى أَنْقُلَ الجِبَال، ولَمْ تَكُنْ فِيَّ المَحَبَّة، فَلَسْتُ بِشَيء. ولَوْ بَذَلْتُ جَمِيعَ أَمْوَالِي لإِطْعَامِ المَسَاكِين، وأَسْلَمْتُ جَسَدِي لأُحْرَق، ولَمْ تَكُنْ فِيَّ المَحَبَّة، فلا أَنْتَفِعُ شَيْئًا. المَحَبَّةُ تتَأَنَّى وتَرْفُق. المَحَبَّةُ لا تَحْسُد، ولا تَتَبَاهَى، ولا تَنْتَفِخ، ولا تَأْتِي قَبَاحَة، ولا تَلْتَمِسُ مَا هوَ لَهَا، ولا تَحْتَدُّ، ولا تَظُنُّ السُّوء، ولا تَفْرَحُ بِالظُّلْم، بَلْ تَفْرَحُ بِالحَقّ، وتَحْتَمِلُ كُلَّ شَيء، وتُصَدِّقُ كُلَّ شَيء، وتَرْجُو كُلَّ شَيء، وتَصْبِرُ عَلى كُلِّ شَيء.”
If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal
First Letter to the Corinthians 12/28-31//13/01-07: And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers; then deeds of power, then gifts of healing, forms of assistance, forms of leadership, various kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? But strive for the greater gifts. And I will show you a still more excellent way. If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”

إنجيل القدّيس لوقا06/من12حتى19/في تِلْكَ الأَيَّام، خَرَجَ يَسُوعُ إِلى الجَبَلِ لِيُصَلِّي، وَأَمْضَى اللَّيْلَ في الصَّلاةِ إِلى الله. ولَمَّا كانَ النَّهَار، دَعَا تَلامِيذَهُ وٱخْتَارَ مِنهُمُ ٱثْنَي عَشَرَ وَسَمَّاهُم رُسُلاً، وَهُم: سِمْعانُ الَّذي سَمَّاهُ أَيضًا بُطرُس، وأَنْدرَاوُس أَخُوه، ويَعْقُوب، وَيُوحَنَّا، وَفِيلِبُّس، وبَرْتُلْمَاوُس، ومَتَّى، وَتُومَا، وَيَعْقُوبُ بنُ حَلْفَى، وَسِمْعَانُ المُلَقَّبُ بِالغَيُور، ويَهُوذَا بنُ يَعْقُوب، ويَهُوذَا الإسْخَريُوطِيُّ الَّذي صَارَ خَائِنًا. وَنَزلَ يَسُوعُ مَعَ رُسُلِهِ، ووَقَفَ في مَكانٍ سَهْل، وكانَ هُناكَ جَمْعٌ كَثيرٌ مِن تَلامِيذِهِ، وَجُمْهُورٌ غَفيرٌ مِنَ الشَّعْب، مِن كُلِّ اليَهُودِيَّة، وأُورَشَليم، وَسَاحِلِ صُورَ وصَيْدا، جَاؤُوا لِيَسْمَعُوه، ويُشْفَوا مِن أَمْراضِهِم. والمُعَذَّبُونَ بِالأَرْوَاحِ النَّجِسَةِ كَانُوا هُم أَيضًا يُبرَأُون. وكانَ الجَمْعُ كُلُّهُ يَطْلُبُ أَنْ يَلْمُسَهُ، لأَنَّ قُوَّةً كَانَتْ تَخْرُجُ مِنهُ وَتَشْفِي الجَمِيع.”
Jesus Choses His 12 Disciples
Luke 06/12-19: “Now during those days he went out to the mountain to pray; and he spent the night in prayer to God.And when day came, he called his disciples and chose twelve of them, whom he also named apostles: Simon, whom he named Peter, and his brother Andrew, and James, and John, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James son of Alphaeus, and Simon, who was called the Zealot, and Judas son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor. He came down with them and stood on a level place, with a great crowd of his disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea, Jerusalem, and the coast of Tyre and Sidon. They had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and those who were troubled with unclean spirits were cured. And all in the crowd were trying to touch him, for power came out from him and healed all of them.”
