مَن ظَنَّ أَنَّه دَيِّنٌ ولَم يُلجِمْ لِسانَه، بل خَدَعَ قَلبَه، كانَ تَدَيُّنُه باطِلاً/Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless

مَن ظَنَّ أَنَّه دَيِّنٌ ولَم يُلجِمْ لِسانَه، بل خَدَعَ قَلبَه، كانَ تَدَيُّنُه باطِلاً
رسالة القديس يعقوب/من19حتى27/لا يَخْفى عَلَيكم شَيءٌ ، يا إِخوَتي الأَحِبَّاء، ومعً ذلك فعَلى كُلِّ إِنسانٍ أَن يَكونَ سَريعًا إِلى الاِستِماعِ بَطيئًا عَنِ الكَلام ، بَطيئًا عنِ الغَضب, لأَنَّ غَضَبَ الإِنسانِ لا يَعمَلُ لِبِرِّ الله.21فأَلقُوا عنكُم كُلَّ دَنَسٍ وكُلَّ ما يَفيضُ مِن شَرّ، وتَقبَّلوا بِوَداعةٍ الكَلِمَةَ المَغْروسَةَ فيكم والقادِرَةَ على خَلاصِ نُفوسِكم.  وكونوا مِمَّن يَعمَلونَ بهذه الكَلِمَة، لا مِمَّن يَكتَفونَ بِسَماعِها فيَخدَعونَ أَنفُسَهم.  فمَن يَسمعَِ الكَلِمَةَ ولا يَعمَلْ بِها يُشبِهْ رَجُلاً يَنظُرُ في المِرآةِ صورَةَ وَجْهِه. فما إِن نظَرَ إِلى نَفْسِه ومَضى حتَّى نَسِيَ كَيفَ كان. وأَمَّا الَّذي أَكَبَّ على الشَّريعَةِ الكامِلَة، شَريعَةِ الحُرِّيَّة، ولَزِمَها، لا شَأْنَ مَن يَسمعُ ثُمَّ يَنْسى، بل شأنَ مَن يَعمَل، فذاكَ الَّذي سيَكونُ سَعيدًا في عَمَلِه. مَن ظَنَّ أَنَّه دَيِّنٌ ولَم يُلجِمْ لِسانَه، بل خَدَعَ قَلبَه، كانَ تَدَيُّنُه باطِلاً.  إِنَّ التَّدَيُّنَ الطَّاهِرَ النَّقِيَّ عِندَ اللهِ الآب هو افتِقادُ الأَيتامِ والأَرامِلِ في شِدَّتِهِم وصِيانَةُ الإِنسانِ نَفْسَه مِنَ العالَم لِيَكونَ بِلا دَنَس.

James01/19-27: “My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do. Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”

من اعترف بـي أمام الناس، أعترف به أمام أبـي الذي في السماوات. ومن أنكرني أمام الناس، أنكره أمام أبـي الذي في السماوات
انجيل القديس متى 10/26- 33/لا تخافوهم. فما من مستور إلا سينكشف، ولا من خفـي إلا سيظهر. وما أقوله لكم في الظلام، قولوه في النور. وما تسمعونه همسا، نادوا به على السطوح. لا تخافوا الذين يقتلون الجسد ولا يقدرون أن يقتلوا النفس، بل خافوا الذي يقدر أن يهلك الجسد والنفس معا في جهنم. أما يباع عصفوران بدرهم واحد؟ ومع ذلك لا يقع واحد منهما إلى الأرض إلا بعلم أبـيكم السماوي. أما أنتم، فشعر رؤوسكم نفسه معدود كله. لا تخافوا، أنتم أفضل من عصافير كثيرة. من اعترف بـي أمام الناس، أعترف به أمام أبـي الذي في السماوات. ومن أنكرني أمام الناس، أنكره أمام أبـي الذي في السماوات.

Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.  But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven
Matthew 10/26-33: “26 “So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.  Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.  So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.  “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.  But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.”
